A fantastic fight sets up here. Two of the most popular characters on this site are finally set face each other in head-to-head combat.
I think in this fight, the edge goes to Wolverine. With everything they both bring, at the end of the day, the ability to regenerate gives Wolverine the edge.

Snake seems to depend a lot on stealth.
Wolverine has exceptional senses.
Snake’s stealth becomes useless.
This battle will be largely dependant on environment, and distance, because if snake can keep his distance, he can keep filling wolverine with billets, which would slow wolverine down enough so snake can keep his distance.
If Wolverine gets up close, then his claws will make short work of snake.

wolverine also has regen campablities far more advanced than snakes.
True even though snake can overcome many challenges wolverine has literally no weaknesses so snake will win the first few rounds, his hand to hand combat ability is good enough to fend wolverine off and weaponry is definatly in snakes favor but wolverine will get up time and time again.
Unless snake could get him into some water… I heard that wolverine sinks due to metal skeleton… although I will admit this is clutching at straws….
Wolverine smells this old man’s Ben gay from two miles away. As the box slowly slides across the deck of Wolverines porch he takes one nice big swing with his claw into the box and rips the box right off snakes head. He then slowly beats the crap out of snake for being involved in games that make completely no sense.. A slow death for a unforgivable crime.
Umm, if Master Chief can’t beat him *though I still think he can* Than I dont see how Snake has a chance
