Wolverine Vs Boba Fett

Wolverine Vs Boba Fett

Easily a personal favorite match I’d like to see. While I am a fan of both characters, my personal bias is going to Boba. While they both ooze coolness, the Bounty Hunter is just too much for Wolverine to handle.

Is there a way that Wolverine pulls out a victory here?

This is going to be a long battle.
Fett can fly, so can just stay out of wolverines attack range, but wolverine is agile enough to dodge a lot of Fett’s ranged attacks, and can just heal any he can’t dodge.

I can only see this ending with Fett’s rocket-pack running out of fuel, and Wolverine slicing him up as he hits the ground.

The way i see it is that Boba Fett will make clever use of his jetpack. Staying out of harms way while shooting at wolverine to enrage him some so that while Boba fly a bit ahead wolverine is sure to follow. While ahead Boba sets down traps for wolverine. While wolverine has his adamantium and healing factor, Boba can tire him out with his blasts, explosives and booby traps. Maybe if he’s lucky he can knock him out that way and then just restrain him.

On the other hand, if Wolverine is more resilient to Boba’s attacks and get in melee range then the winner is Wolverine.

So not fair… The big W again?
    Check this out…
If you read MC vs Wolverine you already know the answer. Boba has to completely destroy big W in order to bring him down because Wolverine can come back from a few cells. I see Boba’s fuel running out and his luck with it.

All I can think of is instant poison dart pwnage…

  5. 5 - Xargen on October 20th, 2008 8:59 am

Wolverines regeneration helps him combat poisons and diseases, so wouldn’t really be pwnage

 If you really want to know what would happen, look at the Ultimates graphic novel where its the X-Men vs. The Avengers. You will see Wolverine totally messing up Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man. That is about as close to a fight between Wolvie and Boba as you will get. Watching Boba get his head chopped off just like his clone crazy dad…..

Yeah we all know that basically nothing can defeat Wolverine, besides blowing up the planet that he is on at the time he is on it.

    what about a flamethrower/blaster/detpack/wristrocket combo?

  9. 9 - Matapiojo on November 6th, 2008 1:30 pm

    Wolvie is night unstopabble.

Fett would stay away…until he runs out of fuel.
Fett would blast Logan…until he runs out of ammo.
Fett would flick Wolverine off..until Logan flicks him with the middle claw.
    Then death.

There is only one way I see this “might” go to Boba IF he is extremely lucky, and that is if he traps Logan with one of his binding tricks, then dropping him off into somewhere extremeley hazardous. Only places I could think is outter space, volcano, carbon freezing, or any other such. But even then, Im certain that W would find a way to escape before then.

I say Fett just needs to jump on Slave-1 and engage the Hyperdrive, getting the heck out of dodge.

lol or drop wolverine into the sarlaac

  11. 11 - Matapiojo on November 7th, 2008 8:29 am

“lol or drop wolverine into the sarlaac”

Nah, if Fett survived the Sarlac (sure, in no small part due to the Mandalorian Iron), the acid pit would be a walk in the park for Logan.

    Still. Boba wins it.

Does Boba Fett cary a nuclear bomb with him? No? Ok.

Not that it would matter anyway since Wolverine can survive a nuclear blast due to his indestructable skeleton protecting his brain.

ok i dont like x men so i thought he was just some guy with claws that was really strong

In straight combat, Wolverine wins. No doubt. However, this may not be a straight combat match and like Ive said on other duels, Fett is simply too well prepared ahead of time to simply be discarded as the looser.

If Fett is the one in pursuit of Logan, he would most likely know about his regenerative abilities, his combat prowess, and his adamantium frame/claws. Boba could most certainly aquire some sort of device or method to neutralize the XMan for a short while while he delivers Logan to a more deadly scenario.

However, I am well aware that Wolverine is a mighty combatant that has found ways to wiggle out of certain doom repeatedly. So I dont know.

Id like to say that in the grand scheme of things Boba will alwasy have the upper hand over opponents like Wolverine, but Logan is simply hard to handle.

I stand by Logan being the victor in straight combat, and Fett being the victor in any other scenario.

Ya I understand but as you stated before in the Boba and Jango Fett vs MC and ARbiter couldn’t Boba disintergrate him?

  17. 17 - marche on November 18th, 2008 1:37 pm

“ok i dont like x men so i thought he was just some guy with claws that was really strong”

i used to think wolverine was a bad superhero for that reason.

  18. 18 - Matapiojo on November 18th, 2008 1:56 pm

Perhaps, but it would stop at the Adamantium skeleton. Like it was mentioned elsewhere, Logan has survived this sort of attack already by regenerating afterwards, which would bring it to the “Neutralize-then-transport” scenario I was talking about.

    They meet.

    They fight.

Fett disintegrates his flesh, then places his skeleton onto Slave one for delivery.

    Logan regenerates.

He wakes up and rips himself out of the containment section.

Boba tries to react but has nothing to fight Logan in such close quarters. Fett eats Adamantium.

    Logan flies off.

An alternative to that would be for Fett to eject Logan into the vacum of space. Not sure if he could survive that. If he could, he would still be a spec of nothing floating in a larger nothing.

  19. 19 - marche on November 18th, 2008 1:57 pm

wolverine is able to find people even when he cant see or smell them.
so i dont think fett would be a problem.
besides that he is super fast and his claws are unbreakable.
ill post scans if anyone wants to see his speed feats.

Baron Somebody - “ok i dont like x men so i thought he was just some guy with claws that was really strong”

marche - “i used to think wolverine was a bad superhero for that reason.”

Logan is a surprisingly interesting character that Marvel has simply taken too far and try to cash on too often. He has no super strength whatsoever. Well, arguably, because hauling around so much adamantium would be no joke. Even then, he can still be more agile than your average joe.

Wolverine’s major claim to fame is his advanced regenerating power. He has recovered from the most strenous wounds. Having his face blown off. Being run over by a bulldozer. Dropping from the stratosphere. Being disolved into nothing by being in the heart of an explosion.

Mind you, the only reason he survives all this damage is because of the Adamantium grafted to his bones. A procedure that could not even be possible on non-regenerating individuals.

Now, I dont know this bit for a fact, but my oppinion is that should the brain be destroyed, that would be the end of Logan. This hasnt been touched uppon because his grey matter is encased in an Adamantum vault he calls skull, but it stands to fair reason.

Even then, Sabertooth (whom is very similar to Logan) has survived damage to his brain…by Wolverine actually. That took time to recover, but when Creed did his regenerating powers were super enhanced. He could regenerate much faster than Logan.

Another method to dispose of Wolverine would be to combine an attack that removes/negate his adamantium protection, THEN kill Logan by decapitation or some such. When Magneto removed the metal from his bones, the regeneration was halted to a stop. I suppose that someone with similar power over matter could do the same. *shrug*

Other than a very long past, over a century-going-on-two (which gives a lot of story because he is practically immortal), and his animal qualities, thats Logan in a nutshell.

  21. 21 - Baron Somebody on November 19th, 2008 12:59 pm

ok…say darth vader goes up against wolverine…if darth vader decapitated him with his lightsaber wouldn’t he die?

  22. 22 - Matapiojo on November 19th, 2008 4:18 pm

Given as this has not been address anywhere, no one really know. Charles Xavier beleived that the only way to stop wolverine was to decapitate and place considerable distance between the head an the body.

This can probably suggest that should the detached head come into contact with the neck, it would regenerate again al all would be well.

Now, there is also no evidence that could disprove the possibility of Logan regenerating his entire body from the neck down of the detached head. I beleive that as long as the brain is intact, Logan could regenerate it…given an ample amount of time. hell maybe even decades.

However, there might still be the fact of a Lightsaber not having such an easy time at cutting through adamantium. It stands to reason that if the strongest blast from Cyclops can dissintegrate Logan’s hand, the a LS could too, but who knows. *shrug*

oh and the slave 1 scenario boba fett would probably let him out
