Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) Vs Link

Here’s a great match that puts two of my favorite video game characters of all time against each other. As much fun as it was to play in Ninja Gaiden, I just don’t see how Ninja skills alone would be able to overcome the sheer force that Link can bring.

Maybe I’m wrong - Who wins this battle?

    Ryu has so much more training than Link, not to mention is more experience with different weapons, both long and short range. Heck, a good izuna drop might bring Link down as soon as the fight began…. jeez…Link’s begin set up with a lot of losing battles on this site…

    but you cant underestimate link he has tons of gadgets and magic arrows, but ryu would probaly avoid all that

    Ooh so not fair. I think ryu is too fast for Link. Link is still the cheating character with more heath, better health boosters and all the gadgets (that’s why I favor him over most). I think Link would own ryu in a bow fight… (stupid Ninja Gaiden targeting system). If ryu used a finishing move on Link, the little green man would rise from the grave several times when ryu can only revive once? Link wouldn’t play fair because when he does he gets his can kicked. So link for the win.
    P.S. I want to see ryu turn into an ICE arrow sculpture :)

    Link would with the Triforce of courage and the spirit of the past Links , he would have made Ryu run home to his mama.

    Well if it is based on sheer strength it is hayabusa he can destroy buildings with the dragon sword and can go toe to toe with a spartan(Nicole 458)

    Link is not an elf, he’s a Hylilian (or however it’s spelt), basically a race close to the Gods… but yeah, that’s my only comment for this one, I don’t really know anything about Ryu, but if he can overcome magic armour, faries, Link’s special fighting abilites and his wolf form (with the auto targeting, leap through enemies for a quick kill ability), then he’ll win, as I said, I don’t really know anything about him, so I’m steering clear of a verdict

    Link easily, he’s practically brimming with magical items and weapons, and has insane amounts of health.

    Link’s speed and strength is unmatched. The Silver Gauntlets description alone says that he has the strength of an army :mrgreen: He has pegasus boots, pegasus seeds, bunny hood, control of time, anyway you cut it, Ryu is overwhelmed.

    pretty tight combat mi mean link have a very good aiming sight as in the game targeting or something for the wii plus heck he juste need to be a deku how owuld the ninja slice his throat then jsut cut him or could just slow down the time and kill the ninaj easy but if link underestimate ryu well i say ryu would unarme l link and actual kill him slowly and painfuly :O or quick and clean

    but i’d say link won this match jsut because he got time controle and shape shifting

    :mad: FOOLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Link would win no contest.He has so many different gadjets and equpment.He can control time and has a suit that makes him invincible with rupees. He is an elvin kokarian not a hylian. Jeez, no contest and elves have infinite magic powers. There would be a fun scene to watch , but Link hands down.
