Fantastic match here. I think this could easily be an epic battle. The agility of Darth Maul against the sheer willpower and force of Aragorn would make for a great outcome.

does aragorn get a wepon that can stand up to a lightsaber or does darth just get given a regular sword?
I will always feel Darth will win these as if he can’t beat them in a sword fight he has the spiked head that could give one hell of a head but to beat any and all oposition….
I suppose it could be argued that Aragorn’s sword has some elven magic on it or something, so it acts similar Cortosis/Phrik from the StarWars universe (which can stand up to a lightsaber), but even with that, Maul has far superior agility and martial arts skills, and would easily win.

As beastly as aragorn is, maul is just so much more technologically advanced, ive gotta give it to him.

this one will be easy darth maul slashes threw the sword and the cuts of his head and walks away simple as that.
Lets not forget that Maul stood up to two highly trained Jedi, killing Qui Gon, and basically almost had Obi Wan beat (which he should have really, he just started playing around instead of force pushing him the rest of the way down the hole.) Aragorn is a good fighter and all that, but I don’t really think he’s stood up to anyone of Jedi level, not on his own and deffinatly not two of them at the same time.

Maul is fast. And Aaragorn is just a good fighter. But i have to say maul. Hell of a fight though, guarenteed.
How can a sword block a lightsaber? Not to mention that Maul has the Force. This is fail.
I love aragorn and i hate darth maul but maul wins
Aragorn, he has so much more experience and better than normal reaction times and strength as he is a Numenorean which puts him on the same level as a high elf! So he and Maul have a equal physical footing but the main diffference is in fighting style, Maul uses a fluid style incorporating several Martial Arts and Aragorn also uses a fluid and flowing style encompassing various styles of sword play but which is largely based on the elvish style which is closely related to the style used by the Samurai. The main difference is in the weapons they have chosen, Mauls double bladed lightsaber can be aproximated to a blade ended quaterstaff while Aragorn has a two-handed sword which is balanced well enough that he can wield it in one hand and a knife or shield in the other. So I think that if Elindil could go up against a lightsaber then Aragorn has the slight edge but in the end it comes down to skill, which I think Strider has more of.
ps He has greater strength of mind than Sauron as when he looks into the Seeing Stone he sees the Eye of Sauron and Sauron is the one who withdraws defeated from the ensuing battle of wills
i vote for Aragon, all tht he need to do is to summon the oathbreakers to torture maul
Maul wins. Elven f#ggot sword or now. Steel is no match for a lightsaber.
Also Maul has the Force. And if he had been trained a bit more Force lightning.
As for the Oathbreakers. I dont think that they would have time to help because Aragorn would already be in itty bitty pieces when they got there. As well as the fact that Maul aint fraid of no ghost
