Great match up here. A light saber master equipped with four arms should present the Chief with some new issues to deal with.

ok master chief wins because general grievis is slow and all masster chief would have to to is through a plasma grenad or hit grevis with a rocket or spartan lazer and if you remember grevis can’t use the force so master chief wins.
If it’s the attack of the clones Grievous, that has trouble breathing, then masterchief for the win.
If it’s Grevious from clone wars, then Grevious for the win.

since grevios cant use the force then master chief wins. lightsabers can only block lasers. even if he blocks a plasma rifle shot it would only seperate be cause the plasa rifle shots are goo.

I’d give this one to grevious, since grevious uses four lightsabers. If grevious even got close, master chief would be down and out.

I think Mc would eventually win but he would have a hell of a time doing. He’ll end up tracking grievous up and down the galaxy and when the final battle goes down the four lightsabers and full knowledge of lightsaber techniques would mean that grievous could deflect alot of fire so Mc would not have that many options. this would be one of MC’s toughest fights but grievous may win after all.
this has nothing to do with this post but how about master chief (default) vs master chief (bumper jumper)? witch button layout makes the MC?!?!?!

Well it would be a nice brawl , Grevios would be trying to hit him alot while Master Chief would be blocking the attacks with th energy sword , all ending up with Master Chief stabing Grevious , winning , and Grevious saying “i will be back” even though he wont.
General Grievous has sensitive tissue that happens to be extremely flammable…
I believe a spartan laser, a flame thrower, or plasma fire would do the trick. Again Chief has to play out his range advantage.
Close range I would expect a lightsaber and an energy sword to have a similar effect… one dead spartan.
If you read the halo books, which show that chief is way better than he is in the games, you will know who would win this.

I’ll go with chief cuz he has guns and the advantage of distance. Lightsabers are cheap and slice through stormtroopers like a knife in fresh pumpkin pie. Poor Storm troopers. Never knew what hit ‘em.

Mc would win cos he knows alot about fighting and lets not forget cortana she would call in reinforcments + Mc has a radar which mean he cant run away or hide and he could just as easily pull out a gun a shoot him in the head and then in 1 of his veins(oil or fuel is is there) so grivis would blow up or stop moving end of story
If it were episode 3 grievous master chief would own him with ease.
But now if this was clone wars grievous. master chief wouldn’t even land one shot on grievous. grievous would rip mc’s face off with his foot then slice what’s left of him it’s not even funny…

alright this is pissing me off. master chief is good but general grievous was one of the best generals in SW history.
he slaughtered hundreds of jedi in his day, grievous agility is too fast even for mc to track. and if you’ve seen my link above you’d know. spartan laser rocket launcher energy sword you name it grievous will dodge it. even at long range grievous will sprint/dodge his attacks and slice straight through the chiefs shields break his back and kill him with his own assult rifle.
im sorry, but master chief with 1 frag, 2 plasmas, 2 flame grendes, and 2 brute grendes.
grievous sees master chief and rushs at him, mc puts down a plasma sneakly and runs away. grievous sees it and waits for it to blow up just to rush and be knocked back by a a frag master chief threw while grievous was distracted master chief takes out his sniper rifle a fires at grievous, a seconed to later however, because grievous picks up his light saber and reflects it back at master chief, droping his down. master chief throwes a flame bomb at grievous who easily side steps it. master chief puts down some fire with his sinper intill he wastes the cliponly to be awared by emptey shields agian. dorpping his sniper rifle he finds a clone troopers dead body in front of him with his gun right next to him rushing to pick it up grievous takes this moment to rush master chief, master chief noties this on his motion senser and takes out his plasma and activates it when grievous is about 10 feet away (aka .01 secondes later) master chief truns aroung and jumps at grievous, using an energy sowerd as a shield (insted of thin side at enemy, think side at enemy) and throws a his plasma grende at him, rocketing him up, almost impaling himself. master cheif falls hard on the ground barley but still alive, grievous is also still alive, because the plasma was only thrown by his feet, not on himsellf, legs blowen off he crawles on a backed truned master chief who just got up. as grievous weakley takes out a lightsaber, and looks up about to strike when master chief throwes what looks to be like a piece of trash over his shoulder, at least thats what he thinks intill his body lites on fire.

Well i think that all Grievous would have to do is stick the saber through MC’s head and he wud be finished and he wud mad deflect that damn plasma rifle…Greivous would kick the ass

Grievous is (despite the film) a CQC killing Machine. However I think this fight goes to the Chief.
The one thing that stops the Chief from killing the powerful Jedi/Sith in the other fights on this site is their ability to use the force, an ability which Grievous lacks.
The Chief would just sit back at range and use a “proper” laser weapon (like the sentinel beam or Spartan (lol) Laser) to destroy Grievous (I highly doubt he can dodge/reflect things which move at the speed of light). That or he could use weapons like the rocket launcher or fuel rod and kill him with splash damage. Hell, with his reflexes the Chief could probably take him on in close quarters with an energy sword or grav hammer.

Gotta say GG here, most Jedi would probably have the ability to slice MC in half with a stretch, and GG here has killed a buttload of jedi, more than enough to prove his combat superiority. And realistically none of the weapons in halo are lasers as they should be portrayed, since the only two “laser” weapon with insta-hit are the Splazer (and hell, people in the game can doge that thing, let alone a robot with faster reflexes than a jedi…), and the S beam, which I would assume could be blocked/deflected (and with deflected would come MC getting a face full of his own weapon). And in melee, well it would last about 4 seconds before the General has a new trophy to add to his collection….a green metal helmet.
And don’t ever try and compare the Plasma Sword and Lightsaber, its like comparing a Stick to a Sword (sure they have the same basic use but they are vastly different). The plasma sword is comprised of plasma (which I will remind everyone is a super-charged matter with free ions, meaning it is NOT ENERGY but matter) concentrated to a blade by magnetic fields. the lightsaber is a solid shaft of pure energy, and based on the properties of the lightsaber that would allow it to pass straight through a plasma sword. So fighting a plasma sword with a lightsaber is like fighting a real sword with one made of air. Attempting to block with one would be useless and result in a diced MC.

Well in that case, all MC needs to do is grab two plasma rifles and fire a storm of plasma right at GG. After all, he can’t block it. Sure, he might be able to dodge a few, but he is going to get hit, and when he does he’s screwed. And trying to engage in CQC would just make him easier to hit.
General Greivous would win, if you follow the lore.
1 Strong enough to stop a Starfighter from launching
2 Armor is impervious to Turbo laser blasts (These are the Capital ship lasers)
3 Able to move at over 100 kmph.
4 Armor also impervious to starwars rocket lauchers.
5 Ampliphied perception. Able to calculate path of projectiles.
6 Starwars militaries stopped using projectiles over 30,000 galactic revolutions ago. (that’s almost 300,000 years.
7 Can withstand vaccums and hyper pressure.
8 SUper intelligent.

MC would easily win. A lightsaber cant deflect a rocket.
And even if he has super-reflexes, he can’t react faster than a sentinel beam firing. Whats more, people don’t “dodge” Spartan lasers, the person trying to shoot them misses.
The Sentinel beam and Spartan Laser are proper lasers, compared to Star Wars blasters (which seem to move slower then standard ballistics). MC would nail him in the eye with the Sentinel beam or Slaser.
Maybe you’re not reading me, or I should have explained myself better. Plasma passing inside/through a lightsaber would be heated even more to the point that the unstable magnetic field that barley keeps the stuff stuck together would be overcharged and the plasma (either in bolt or sword form) would just dissipate.
And the sentinel beam, come on, sure the beams in SW are slow (mainly so the flash special-effects they are worth seeing) but if you have to fall back on one particular weapon in MC arsenal (which is still of dubious use as it could still be deflected or dissipated), then you’ve already lost. Its like saying a “mouse could beat an army….with a nuke!”
Plus the sound and red dot of the Splazer gives it away, GG would just have to move out of the way or move in an erratic way so that MC couldn’t target him, which is a small task for a being able to evade an entire army’s worth of firepower just through his speed.
Just think, if MC cant beat a normal Jedi, then how did Grievous get his sabers?
hey i love MC…but inless he hits grivouse with a rocket…or a spartan laser…or a sniper rifle in the brain…but general grivous probably could have kill obi-wan if it wasent for mace windu….

all GG has to do, is to wait on a ceiling and when MC get’s to where GG wants him, MC is dead. yes he has his motion traker, but it won’t help Mc that much since the tracker can only track moving objects
there are 2 main outcomes of this battle:
1.MC flicks a power drain next to greivous, power drain dissables the generals body then the power drain blows upand kills greivous
2.MC shoots a charged plasma shot at grievous, emp dissables the robo body, MC walks up and launches one wraith crushing fist into the generals face, imprinting his fist on the metal exoskeleton
listen people grievous is amazing fast and second grievous tech is much better than humans or the coveneat so all tech in that world would not effect him another thing is they built his body so that could not happen no form of emp can take out grievous or he would have been died long ago.
A healthy Grievous has already proven to be far to fast for even half a dozen clone troopers to hit, in addition to several Jedi trying to use Force powers. Also, Grievous is bulletproof, and is even capable of taking glancing blows from a lightsaber. Rockets and Spartan Lazers are too slow, and bullets can’t do enough damage. Grievous wins.
the laser is only slow charging up,regardless he would get killed before then.
david i waould like to thank you for backing up grievous andnot being MC fanboy. secondly a spartan laser may move fast but all that laser is a bigger version of a blaster rifle so he could dogde it easily like anything else MC could throw at him.
