Great battle here. It’s almost the old school of fighting against future technology. Not quite sure how this one would play out given some of the unique abilities that Sub Zero brings.

I think this’ll be a case of who strikes first.
I doubt Sub-Zero could stand up to a flurry of bullets, plasma blasts or ‘nades, but similarly, Masterchief wouldn’t be able to do anything about being frozen, or having his spine ripped out.
But that being said, I think Sub-Zero has a slightly better chance at winning.
Masterchief can only shoot at an opponent directly, which is relatively easy (for a Ninja at least) to dodge, or create an ice wall/clone.
Sub-Zero however, can make a freeze attack come from above his opponent (either directly, or to the side if he thinks his opponent is going to move), which masterchief will not see coming.

ok alll of you are forgetting that master chief is so fast that when he moves time slows down ok. so master chief would be on top of sub 0 in seconds. not saying that as a fanboy but saying the truth. everyone under estimates master chiefs ability as a fighter and not just as a gun man. oh and the freezeing thing wouldn’t work because master chief can heat and cool his armor as he wants and if some how he does get frozen he could just expand his shields on the palms of his hands and souls of his feet breaking the ice. and i doubt the sub zero could rip through a 6 inch sheild and master chiefs armor. so i think master chief wins almost no matter what.
Have you not played the games? Masterchief can’t move any faster than a regular human soldier.
And if masterchief could change the temperature of his armour at will, then flamethrowers wouldn’t be able to kill him one.
And I don’t know where you got shield expanding idea from, unless you’re basing your arguments on some fan-fiction books, rather than the Halo games.
And even if Sub-Zero isn’t able to punch through masterchief’s armour with his bare hands (which would be easier than you think if it’s frozen to extremely low temperatures, as it would become brittle), he can still impale him with ice-spikes.
And if Sub-Zero freezes all of masterchief’s weapons, and then just keeps his distance, masterchief wont be able to hurt him.
And if Sub-Zero freezes the ground, masterchief wont be able to move much, because he’ll have no traction on the ice.
Yeah if Sub-Zero freezes the ground or freezes anything with MC he would easily defeat MC. I believe Sub-Zero is just to fast of a ninja to not win this. MC is good but would need to come up huge to be able to beat Sub-Zero. So my winner hands down is Sub-Zero. complete with a MC spine rip to call it a day.

Masterchief would have to get close enough to Sub-Zero before he could use his flame thrower, but as Sub-Zero’s ice blasts have a much further range (not to mention can approach from different directions) this isn’t going to happen.
And while fire>ice may be true for pokomons and such, it’s not neceserally true for real science
flamethrowers have like 7 foot range that prolly wouldn’t work.

TMNT, I’m sure a ninja could dodge a glowing orange canister. Chris Brown, The laser is hella easy to evade, you just stay out of the aiming beam and your good to go. I’m sure a ninja master like sub zero could accomplish these simple acts of agility.

Anyone could see, if you did play the games, that Master Chief is much faster than marines. Also, Mecha Bob, Yes it DEFINATLEY true that fire melts ice in pokemon incredibly quickly, but in actual science the same rules do apply. Vicarious one, Id like to see sub zero dodge a Incenary Grenade at point blank range, which Sub needs to be at to use most of his attacks. Rob, MC aint stupid enough to let Sub freeze him. You people aernt givin enough credit to MCs speed and agility. It may not match Sub Zeros, But its definatley good enough to dodge Subs more effective attacks. What is also true, Master Chiefs suit can raise or cool the temp to keep him at a normal body temp.
Also, Mecha Bob, Sub Zero aint tryin 2 kill master chief of hypothermia! Master Chief dont need to heat his suit at will, either Cortana or the suit itself will do that.
Master Chief wins hands down.
Ok, I just want to say a few things, First of all if you can do somethings as stupid as MC vs. MacGuyver you may as well do MC vs. Chuck Norris, cause that would be hillarious. next MC’s suit is designed with the absolute coldness of space in mind, so I honestly dont think Sub-Zeros powers could effect him at all.. Just a thought

yeah plus a Incinerary Grenade or a Flamethrower would defeat him. or maybe mc could force feed him a hot wing and burn his liver….
sub zeros ice would have to penitrate chiefs shields firt. if he got a hold of a spartan laser of a plasma rifle then chief wins because plasma is like fire only hotter and gooier.

hey i thin sub zero rox and i rlly like mc but this would be a tough battle i mean sub zero only has 1 thing that could beat mc and that ice blast but it gives him the upper hand so i might have to say sub zero
Actually him freezing the ground wouldn’t really change MC’s traction(halo one, fighting the covenant in the frozen area, running on a lake of ice no problem). Sub Zero can however flash freeze MC with just barely enough time to break his armor.
Sub Zero would have lost and the ice floor thing Master Chief with his weigh can break the ice.

master chief beacause sub zero would be racking his mind for that dang super movie while master chief dodges his random punchs and kicks and watchs the fool jump hopeless wishing that he gets luckie and uses his move while master chief blows his head off.
