Master Chief vs MacGyver

When this was suggested, I knew it made sense. From a battle perspective, I think MacGyver gets creamed in hand-to-hand. However, on the field, his uncanny knack for getting out of sticky situations could give MC fits.

- Has shields to re-generate
MacGyver
- Swiss army knife
- Duct tape
- Never gives up
- Constantly improvises
- Brains over brawn
So does Master Chief make quick work?

That’s not MacGyver, that’s Colonel O’Niell!
This seems to be the classic ‘Batman’ scenario, where the inventive guy can win IF he has enough time to prepare, otherwise, he’s a goner.
So in the no (/not enough) preparation scenario;
Masterchief and MacGyver see each other, MacGyver pulls out a paperclip, and throws it at masterchief, it falls (embarissingly short), Masterchief pulls out his gun, and shoots MacGyver’s head off/
But in the enough preparation time scenario:
The same thing as above happens, but as Masterchief walks up to MacGyver’s ‘corpse’ he notices a makeshift holographic projector, and realises the ‘dead’ MacGyver is just a holographic distraction, when suddenly appears in what looks like a hunter mechsuit, and proceeds to pummel Masterchief in to submission.
Or there’s scenario 3, Cortana betrays Masterchief so she be MacGyver’s new sidekick (or something)
Not too big on that battle.. Master chief would clearly kill him.. Give him a challenge at least lol…
Has there been a master chief vs. Lucario? haha, I’d love to see people’s reaction to that.

this sounds like MC vs batman again, Mc would win in a straight gun fight but Macgyver will outsmart him in any other situation
mc would win if close up MacGyver would win in a range battle

His ability to get out of sticky situations MIGHT keep him alive for no more than five seconds before he gets his head shot of with a BR55.

Heres my scenario…
They see eachother, chief aims his assualt rifle at mcgryver, and fires. The gun does not fire because Mcgryver removed his clip. macgryver walks up to the chief just out of reach. he then throws a rock past the chiefs head to make him look the other direction. then he runs up to the chief and stabs him with a swiss army knife. it snaps in two on the cheifs shield. the chief looks back at Mcgryver and laughs. Mcgryver runs. the cheif runs after him and slide tackles him, thus breaking mcgryvers legs. mcgryver duct tapes his legs somehow while they slide. the chief rips the duct tape and pulls his assualt rifle clip out of mcgryvers belt. he slams it into his assualt rifle and stands over him. Suddenly a Covenant dropship drops off two hunters. MC picks up mcgryver, attaches a lotus antitank mine to his chest, and throws him at the closest hunter. then master chief runs to the confused second hunter and sticks a plasma grenade to its neck.
Scenario two, mc pulls out a assualt rifle and finds its empty. the chief runs at mcgryver and punches his skull in, all taking about two seconds.
Once again, spartan001 proves Halo fanboys can’t roleplay.

How am i a fanboy? i dont say mc is going to win every battle, but i dont say he is gonna lose them all. And my scenarios are examples of if mc went easy on Mcgryver, which wont happen. I become a little creative and get called a fanboy…

Well, I personally don’t see MacGyver standing much of a chance. Sure, MacGyver is clever, but Chief has guns and shielding that stands up to a lot of punishment. Maybe if MacGyver got a hold of a tank… However, if it was Jack O’Neil of SG-1 fame… I’d have to get back to you on that one.

Ummmm…Well lets just say Macgyver had like a 4 days to prepare as a headstart…lets say he built some sort of pistol that shoots some sorta home made ammo and he made 400 of those with the gun and master cheif only had a battle rifle and a pistol…so master cheif drop the battle rifle and makes it fair fight McGyver stats: Stamina:low Defence:medium Creativity:High Intellect:High Stength:low Speed:medium. John 117’s Stats: Strength:High Intellect:High Speed:High Defence:High Creativity: Medium. So McGyver would have about 50% chance if he tried his best.
why are most of this fights so onesided? im sorry but master chief is luckey, a master at avoding traps, and a master of almost all combat. master chief woul walk though will Mg watched him, possible with a sniper rifle. after the first time he shoots, master chief disappers, confusing Mg while he sneaks up master chief sneaks up behind him and says “what a primative gun” as he truns and impails himself on master chiefs energy sowerd
macgyver will build his own mjiolnir armor out of tin foil, a straw to breath through, magnets, duct tape, a football helmet, some plexy glass, a shovel, seven 9 volt batteries, hinges to make a back hatch to poop through, and finally a talking gps inside since he doesn’t have cortana.

macgyver would use a toothpick, a rubber band, a paper clip and some lint from his pocket to create and anti-masterchief rife with auto-tracking capabilities. sorry masterchief, macgyver does it again.
