Airwolf vs Blue Thunder

Well, I have to admit that I never saw this one coming. After looking into some information, I thought there was some merit to this match-up. While Blue Thunder arrived in the cinemas and 1 short season on TV, Airwolf lasted 4 seasons, and had a MUCH cooler theme song.
Airwolf
- 30 mm Cannon (×2)
- Sidewinder missiles
- Turbo thrusters
- Bullet-proof armored fuselage
- Silent hover/flight mode
Blue Thunder
- 20mm electric cannon
- “Whisper Mode” for silent flights
- Jet turbine engine with boost capability, enabling 360° loops
- Helmet-mounted fire control/targeting system
- Powerful microphones and cameras
So which one of these famous choppers makes it out of the battle?

Airwolf.
Better weapons;
2×30mm cannons (which makes 60) compared to 2mm cannon.
Sidewinder missiles, compared to none.
And as Airwolf is bullet proof, and BlueThunder only has bullets, it wont be much of a fight.
And I can’t see how cameras and microphones would help
I think I have to go with Airwolf here. It doesn’t have whisper mode but the sidewinder missiles and bullet-proof armored fuselage I think makes up for that. But when it comes to air combat it’s also up to the pilot and Airwolf has 4 seasons of experience too over Blue Thunder. So the winner would have to be Airwolf.
I would imagine that ‘Silent hover/flight mode’ would be equivalent to ‘Whisper Mode’, but neither are really going to be any use in a dogfight, and are only useful if you want to sneak up/catch off guard some people who aren’t expecting a ruddy great helicopter.
Airwolf definitely, the sidewinder missile can tear almost targets out of the sky.
