Master Chief vs Spiderman
Big time battle here. Typically, I don’t have a strong opinion either way, but I don’t think even with all his “spidey” senses that Peter Parker stands a snowballs chance. I personally think Master Chief tea-bags spidey in about 3 seconds. But, what do I know, right?

is this MC from the game or the one from the book? I know there suppose to be one and the same however, MC seem kind of slow on his feet, he can jump realy high it dosnt seem to be any where near the range of his supposed prowess should allow.

i got 2 admit, i think its MC’s battle. spidey stands a chance, he could sling MCs arms so they stick to his sides, but im sure MC could just pull out a spike/frag/firebomb nade and blow spideys ass off. or he could just use an energy sword/gravham and slice/blast his ass off.

Well, for YOUR information, it’s the praportional strength of a spider you idiot! But, I still think that when it comes to raw power, MC would squish Spiderman. Then again Spiderman is outmatched in nearly every fight but still wins because of his evassiveness and spider sense etc. He’d probably dodge the bullets for a while, take MC’s gun, and riddle him with bullets before he gets time to regenerate!

MC is gonna win because he is a f**ken cyborg with high technology and uses guns and plasma just kill SM. SM has little webs that can catch MC. But can it catch plasma blast? Plasma guns can just melt through little silky webs and kill SM. Even if SM has senses, MC can shoot a sniper 4 times before ammo is out and SM would have a 25% chance to block the shots. He is flexiable but can he dodge a tank blast or SPARTAN LASER?MC pwns the SM by 100%.

Yes. Spidey would wrap a sling around the chief and throw him half a mile. MC would find it difficult. However, if the MC could get his hands on the illusive little arachnid then he could crush him with his bare hands (read Fall of Reach for details of how hard the MC is)/cut him in two with an energy sword.

Spiderman would have no chance. Sure, he can kill normal foes, but MC’s armor is just far too tough. I finally agree to Master Chief being victorious…although he would have a hard time catching Spiderman…as he would probably sling himself away with much haste.

not really sure to be honest, it all depends, MC does have the advantage, but then it all comes down to the fact we don’t know how easy he’d rip spidey’s webbing away…if he can’t then all it takes is for spidey to web the gun, grab it away from him, shoot some impact webbing on his visor, and either use the gun or smash through the armour…but then if master chief can rip the webbing, well all that can’t happen and spider-man would just dodge the bullets for a while and maybe get a couple of shots in, but mc would probably win.

This certainly isn’t as horribly onesided as MC vs. Iron Man, but, hell. Spiderman has dodged bullets without even thinking about it. Not to mention that Spiderman and MC are roughly equal in strength, and Spiderman’s greatest ability isn’t his strength. As far as raw speed goes, Spiderman is for sure faster. In the movie books, it states that he is the fastest land animal. If the games are any indication, Master Chief can’t do more then 30 mph. Spiderman’s webs will render MC’s guns totally useless, as he’s caused thousands of guns to backfire before. Spiderman can easily dodge a plasma grenade and jump clear of it, so that’s not a problem for it. The only thing that doesn’t have me laughing at this match is the Mojonlr armor. Then again, if an Elite can put down MC with a single blow to the back of the head, Spiderman will probably be juggling Master Chief’s head in minutes.

have Spiderman dodge the Spartan LASER. The Laser can cut threw TANK armour so I think it can cut threw some little webbing so his webbing wont jam up the laser and also i dont think that spiderman go faster than the speed of light

spiderman could just web him down for 30 minutes and then proceed to beat the crapout of him by slinging MC around while he’s in the little web bundles. Spidey fans know that he can bench-press 10,000 pounds. That would most likely be stronger than 20 Elite melees and it just takes two to kill MC in the game. One on legendary. Spidey wins easy.

Um, considering the Spartan Lazer takes a few seconds to charge, his Spider-Sense will be more then enough to dodge it. Actually, that will be the easiest weapon for Spiderman to dodge. So I don’t know why you’re bringing it up.

spiderman beats master chief first of all any guns master chief tries to use spiderman would easily dodge them any grenades master chief throws at spiderman spiderman would just dodge and use his webs to throw the grenades back at mc and bam mc is dead master chief tries to use the plamsa sword spiderman dodges very easily then the plamsa sword is out of power just face it spider man wins spidermans is very strong and very very fast not only fast but agile sure master chief is strong and fast but just doesnt have the speed to beat spiderman see spiderman can crawl pretty much anywere or swing higher up and just use that extra strong web that holds anything in place he comes back down beats the crap out of master chief even if masterchief broke out of the webs it would take him some time and in that time spiderman is ready oh and one more thing spiderman can do is web masterchiefs hands and feet together and swing him into the side of a cliff wall or toss him off the side of a cliff either one works some of you are probably saying no way just think spiderman climbs on the side of a wall masterchief cant touch him he tries to shoot him spiderman dodges its only a matter of time till spiderman beats masterchief like the much stronger villans he faced in the past venom doc oc rhino carnage spiderman wins hands down

Okay okay fellas let’s be realistic. Example from Halo3… If you play with the forge you can flip the elephant over on sand trap…and you can in fact flip it BACK over. Spider-Man has trouble holding a wall up. Book example…MC weighs over a on in his armor…Peter Parker looks to weight 130…soaked, and holding a brick. (OH MC DOESNT DIE! >=O watch the whole thing…) Example from Halo2…Remember MC jumping from the Covenant ship to land on En Amber Clad? What does spidey sense have on that? And…MC meleing down a Hunter, we’ve all done it. Let’s get a real match for MC…Steven Segal in MJOULNIR armor. (Not Chuck because remember Chuck and MC are one in the same)

For those who said that chief is not strong outside of his armour READ THE BOOKS he can punch through steal plating and ripe turrets off of a solid titanium power suit. also no ammount of webbing can get through shields AND SHIP GRADE ARMOUR. so even if Spiderman got a chance to strike what would he use his hands? They would just shatter when hitting MC’s armour.

I WILL tell you why that happens. MC is not nearly as strong in the games as he really is. YOu Know why? MC at full strength in the game would make it no fun at all. It is like chuck norris fight a bunch of handycapped babies that are already dead. An New Born could beat the game on Legendairy in its sleep without dying once if MC was at full stregnth. So Bungie had to tone him down. to give the game some challenge. Also you keep saying that MC fights the same enemies over and over again, which makes him a wimp. Not true… a grain of salt by itself is harmless yes… but dump enough on you and you will be crushed to death. ALso these grains of salt have ships that can destroy worlds, and MC as beat it all. So before you go and say that MC suxs because he fights the same enemies, just think of that grain of salt…Idiot. Also i would like to see Spiderman defeat the flood htat have destroyed the Forunners (that were way more advanced than any other Civ. in the entrie galaxy). Also Spiderman has one fatal flaw (as well as most other Super heroes) in that he will not kill! Which all of you know ISN’T a problem for Master Chief. To Mcbac, Spiderman will sense the danger from the beam rifle as soon as Master Chief gets into position. His spider sense will allow him to know were each beam will go before it’s even fired, and he’s more then fast enough to dodge that.
As for the issue of strength that Robert brought up. It was stated several times in the books that both Elites and Brutes are stronger then the Master Chief. So I fail to see how the game differs on that account.

Well this would be an awesome fight. Spidey has spider sense, but Cheif has Cortana. Spidey has speed and mobility, but Cheif has strength and size. There are two versions of both chief and spiderman. Book chief has metal bones, cybernetic eyes, and enhanced reflexes, to compliment his armor, which probably only does about 35 mph tops. Game chief is a glorified marine with shields roughly equivalent to an elite. Book spidey can throw a station wagon, stick to walls, react instantaneously to any non venom threat within a 25 ft radius up to and including dodging bullets , shoot webbing, and is the most dangerous hand to hand combatant in the marvel universe. While game spidey can be defeated by a thug with a lug wrench. either way spidey wins, cause chief will never touch him.

Spiderman is far faster and more agile than masterchief, he can move faster than masterchief has a chance to turn to aim his gun, and combined with his spider sense, he’s even able to dodge bullets at point blank range.
And Spideman may be stronger than masterchief, being able to lift and throw a semi-truck with ease, whereas masterchief is only able to flip tanks, not lift or throw them (and there’s a big difference).
Spiderman’s best weapon against the chief is his web, as with it, he can
-web-up masterchief’s helmet, effectively blinding him
-web-up masterchief’s guns, effectively disarming him
-web-steal masterchief’s weapons/items from a distance.

Anyway. To counter the arguments posted on this thread.
Spartan Laser: It’s big, it’s brutal, It kills tanks in one hit. One downside. IT’S A SLOW CHARGING WEAPON. By the time it is primed and ready to go, spidy has already dodged it and comes insult spewing (cuz that’s what spidy does), wraps chief’s feet and eyes simultaneously, and while cheif is distracted, webs him off a cliff, where he plummets to his death.
Any other gun: Webs barrel of gun, gun blocked.
Rocket launcher and grenades. Spidy webs the offending projectile, sends it back at chief. Boom.
Plasma weapons. True, these probably pose the biggest threat to the spider, seeing as how he can’t web them up (plasma would probably burn through web) The only downside is, they have a severe recoil when they overheat, which spidy could use to his advantage after he has dodged enough plasma bullets.
Tanks. Please, these slow moving behemoths would be easy pickings for spidey.
Aircraft. true, they fly. Point is spidy can be right underneath the darn things and chief wouldn’t realize it until it was too late.
Anything else but a orbital bombardment spidy has to worry about from chief? No flood, no covenant, just chief.
Oh, btw, if they tried a orbital bombardment, they would collect chief first. While they were collecting chief, spidy changes to peter, dresses as a marine, where they subsequently pick him up, and we have a ongoing battle.

As for breaking the web. I have no doubt that master chief could break out of a solid web casing. When I said the slider webbed him up, I meant that he would web MC’s feet, swing him around a few times, then throw him using centrifugal force to smash him into a cliff, or even better off a really tall building……One building where after a few seconds, MC falls to hid doom, which I don’t think could happen to the Spider, seeing as how he would web-sling onto something before he hit the pavement.

Ok. Again, i have stated that spidy could web up MC’s weapons. (With the exception of plasma weapons, the flame thrower,the Spartan laser, and maybe the rocket launcher) And plus spidy can dodge bullets, so I think that he could dodge the above mentioned quite easily.

Masterchief doesnt take fall damage

I know, but it’s not really damage. Yes, he can fall from space into a ringworld, but he does it with the help of a drop pod. Mc, in all the experience I have, can’t take long falls. He just dies.
