Master Chief vs Lobo
Now here’s a blast from the past. Lobo had a brief run to stardom in the 1990’s, but for some reason just seemed to fade away. What I like about this match up is that Lobo is immortal. So how would Master Chief find a way to “Finish the Fight?”

Well as a first poster, and having little knowledge of Lobo except what is said as a brief description up top is that Lobo would be victor. It’s immortallity it is incredibly difficult to win that one. However as I understand it if Master Chief fought Lobo in the void of space I am fairly sure the Chief would win on the account as Master Chief has the equivalent of a re-breather/zero G suit in one and can survive in space where as I would assume Lobo cannot as he can’t breath in space, and everyone knows if you can’t breath you will undoubtedly die. SO… with no blood spilt by Lobo he would be doomed to live or die in the void of space. End of story. On ground Lobo, in space Master Chief.

Lobo has tangled with the likes of Superman and nearly defeated him. He does not require air, food or water and could easily tear MC a new one. Lobo wins hands down.

This is retarded. If Lobo is immortal, then just forget about even posting this whole damn battle. but if you want to let them use everything at their disposal, MC activates the rings and Lobo dies automatically, immortality or no. It doesn’t matter with being immortal if you don’t have a body to live in. He would just go to limbo. Maybe the chief could introduce Lobo to the Flood, as they would take control of his body without spilling a single drop of blood, and even if they did, they would just kepp taking those over till Lobo was fighting over a thousand Flood versions of himself. No species can beat the flood without the rings.
Maybe we should be looking at this differently, maybe, we should pit people that would make for interesting discussion rather than a new place for Lobo fans to try to say how their obsession is better than everyone else’s. Why not pit Lobo against another immortal being? I’m sorry does that make too much sense?
Jordan - this particular battle was requested, and it makes for a great conversation based on the immortality of Lobo - While MC may not be able to outright kill Lobo, he could keep him in a state of “limbo” where Lobo would be contained…

Master Chief is the damn best video game character ever made and has sick ass armor, with kick ass guns but if you compare to the likes of Lobo then thats just plain suicide for the Chief. Sure sure he killed millions of Covenants, but Lobo was responsinsible for the complete destruction of his own homeworld. Another reason why this guys too much for Spartan 117 is that Lobo has super strength which is between the 90-100 level range where as Master Chief has Super human strength that only reaches the 10-20 level range. Then last but not least theres the thing of being band from Heaven and Hell, which means his immortal, to which no ammount of bullets,grenades, or rockets could kill him. Oh theres also the thing with use of plasma, which only works on the likes of someone who actually dies.As much as I hate to admit it this fight is worthless for the uber Spartan, even if the Arbiter,Johnson, and the entire UNSC/Elite fleet were to aid him.

I do not know alot about Lobos. From what I heard above, he sounds like a indestructiable dude. I wanted MC to win, but I am sorry. I dont think MC can win a freaken god-like creature. That is like fighting a blob that can’t die no matter what you use on it. It sounds like Lobos wins because he cant even f**ken die and have tracking sensors and weapons of mass destruction(like MC). I thought it be simple MC just destroy Lobos with sniper shot in the head. While he is down and has to regen., MC just uses clorox or bleach and clean off Lobo’s blood so he can’t regen. But I think its not that simple. I guess they best way MC can do is activate all the Halo rings and die with it. Thats mean Lobos is gonna live by regen., but then rings are blast him. He is gonna regen., but there is 7 rings and they are gonna blast him forever until “all sentimental life is consumed” like the flood. This process is gonna repeat until Lobo’s cells are destoryed or the rings run out of energy. So Lobo is the winner just because he is f**ken immortal.

The thing you should know is that Lobo Super human Strength, and, well, Superhuman everything. The powers that weren’t mentioned is that his genius intellect branches out into all categories he knows out to rebuild his spacebike out of junk, he knows how to navigate slipspace, he knows freaking biochemistry! Besides all this his body absorbs damage by energy-based attacks (particulary electricity), and he can get into fits of rage that make him even stronger than what he already is. Theonly possible way for MC to win is if Cortana intstructed him on a second to second basis and somehow trapped him in like, a halo reactor, or a Sun, where even the energy could potentially charge him up, it would be so strong and so constant that he wouldn’t be able to fight it no matter how mad he got it.
But without Cortana, Lobo would gut chief, or incinerate or run him over, or detonate him, or just arm wrestle him and humilate him until he finally decided to crush the MJOLNIR armor for fun and mount the helmet on his Bike.

I have done some reserch and even though Lobo had the ability to make copies of himself from a single drop of blood he has lost that abilty when fighting Vril Dox. So all MC has to do is pump enough stuff into him to kill him for a short time then distroy all of his cells. For example cremate his remain until their is nothing left but ash or have one of arbiters ships come and glass the area.

Lobo doesn’t actually have his cloneability anymore, however he’s immortal and his regeneration ability is best, he has shot his own brains, been torn in half, blown up by atom bombs and even pulverised to mere pulp, hell he even went inside a black hole once and has always come back so shooting him full of holes are cutting of limbs wont do much besides delaying the fight for a few seconds.
Plus he has enough strenght and reaction speed to beat up superman.
MC has no chance, Lobo wins this fight.

He’s immortal cause he has been banned from entering either heaven or hell due to the fact he enjoyed hell too much beating everyone up and he didnt like heaven much so he kept kicking ass untill they let him use the reincarnation device to get back in his own body.

Being banned from heaven and hell does not make you immortal indeed, it just makes that no one is there to collect your soul when your body dies, however Lobo’s body regenerates back into life and the soul stays in the body living on.
The only thing Lobo needs to survive is himself, his regenerative abbilities is what keeps him young and strong.

mc would win no question because mc can use the halo rings or just use the flood to infest lobo and even if lobo regenerates the flood would keep infecting him thus making an endless circle

sigh, whenever mc cant win they bring in the halo rings and the flood. But guess what, even that wont be able to stop Lobo.
But playing by your rules, Lobo can simply look up Klarion and make him do a spell on him that enables his blood to create clones again (he got his ability back when he was transformed to lil’ lobo by him). Then Lobo would simply make a whole army of Lobo’s and destroy the whole flood and the rest of the universe.

I just wish that The chief could still fight by himself when fanboys don’t get their way. Mc wouldn’t use the Halos because that kills everything going against every thing he stands for, the flood does not work for him, and before you use this argument the covenant are not his allies, the way they saw it was they had a mutual enemy. By the way, Master Chief would put up a pretty good fight with Lobo, but eventually he can’t last. Lobo will win. It’s obvious that commentators who voted in MC’s favour are either unaware of just how huge Lobo’s abilities are, or these guys are just blind fanboys who can’t possibly accept that MC would go down.
