At a glance this might look like the victory goes to Thor, but Aang has some awesome powers that he can draw upon to bring victory.
In the ‘Avatar State’ Aang is almost invincible – and he could use that against whatever Thor throws at him.
Who wins this fight?

AAng may have many more powers in his arsenal, but he is not nearly as badass as the Asgardian GOD. My money is on the wielder of Mjolnir.

aang is nothing compared to him.

Yep. Even in the great avatar state, he still couldnt defeat a god.

Okay, we’re looking at a little kid with a stick…….uh……kite thingy, versus a GOD with one of the most powerful warhammer known at his disposal. Not only that, but he kicks ass. Who wins this? The GOD.

Aang can control all of the elements now, even when he’s not in the avatar state. I really like marvel but im gonna have to say that aang can kick Thors but, even if he does have odin force.

Thats not going to help him much.He is still far to slow and doesn’t have the durability to deal with the likes of thor.

Thor is one of the few people that can cause the Hulk tremendous harm…. that a win in my book. Even an epic win.

Just putting this out there, but it looks like Thor attacks with lightning bolts (I’m going off of the pic here) and Aang can send those back to him. Thor’s own bolts would probably hurt him bunches.

More likely he may be caught off guard the first time, but he can just absorb it back into his hammer the next.

Or he can just crush Aang’s skull in with the actual hammer.

Actually Aang could not reflect the lighting. Its a special technique that he never learned how to do. So Thor wins with crushing Aang.

Thor is Lord of the Asgard and has the OdinForce at his disposal, basicly he can do anything he wants. Easily teleport Asgard to the skies above New York City, able to recreate the moon after it was destroyed in a battle with him and a powerful entity, will Mangog into nothingness, decapitate a Desak-occupied Destroyer by focusing a portion of his power into one Mjolnir hurl, and easily conquer all of Earth, and defeat all of its inhabitants such as the powerful Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strange etc. According to the Odin Force (which took the shape of Odin), Thor recreating celestial bodies and his other accomplishments during his time on Earth were nothing but minimal compared to the Odin Power’s limitless power. Plus he has destroyed moons with his fists.
Although I love Avatar Aang gets his Airbending Ass splattered all over the cosmos.

“Actually Aang could not reflect the lighting. Its a special technique that he never learned how to do.”
he did learn that technique, he used in his battle against ozai
but still its still not going to stop Thor from smacking aangs head through his ass with mjolnir.

He did learn the technique to send lightning back at the opponent, but there is some differences between the Fire Bender’s Technique and the Deity.
Their electrical output is smaller then the amount Thor can produces (and from various angles). And too boot, he can continuously make a stream of lightning come out, which would fry Aang even with that technique (As the final battle with The Pheonix King showed he still was in pain after said technique).
Finally, Aang even in the Avatar state was beaten. His power is not enough to take down Thor, who stood toe to toe with the likes of the Hulk, Superman, and the Silver Surfer.

I loved the show, but Thor would easily pwn Aang, he might as well be fighting jigglypuf.
Thor wins, in a landslide victory.

“he might as well be fighting jigglypuf”
hilarious, man. but seriously, this match is kinda unfair. if aang goes avatar state, thor will do exactly what azula did and strike his mortal body with lightning, thus destroying aang’s connection with the other avatars, and killing him instantly.

“Thor can just strike his physical body with lightning thus destroying aangs connection with the other avatars and killing him instantly.” He may of lost his connection but he regained the avatar state and he lived even after he was zapped so he can still live with out the avatar state

But thor’s lightning is WAAAAAAAAAY more powerful than azula’s, and thor could just hit him with his hamer.

If Aang was hit by Thor’s lightning, he would be disintegrated, or if he did manage to somehow (just a hypothetical, it’s not going to happen) redirect it, he would go soft and aim it somewhere else like with Ozai.
