Isn’t Snake enhanced in some way, or am I completely off target?
    Either way, IB with Snake.

Im with snake here, Octocamo give him the significant advantage in stealth.

    @ Farsight
Yes, snake is augmented by nanomachines it give him a slight edge over normal humans as well, with enhanced RT, strength, speed, regen etc. not to any large degree but it is there

    Snake with no worries

What Amm0 said, he beat vamp if I’m not mistaken, pretty much through sheer skill since he was outmatched in every way. I don’t think Jason Bourne could do that.

Snake beats him with little difficulty.

Bourne is good, but Snake obviously wins this. Its not even close, IMO.

You know, I find it funny that people put Bourne in strait up fights when, at least from my perspective, his strength lies in his ability to disappear. I mean, he is good in combat; however, his is still just a highly trained, and incredibly skilled, human. That is why he is does better in “Hunt” matches where he is being hunted by X person for Y reason.

Oi … This one’s an ancient suggestion of mine hence the lack of scenario.

To avoid a direct fight where Snake would dominate, let’s take the battlefield to London and both are being hunted by the security forces. Goal is to see who can evade capture longer for a week before escape is possible.

Snake has a MK.23 SOCOM, Octo and face camo, his stun gun and knife. Bourne has a Five Seven handgun and a knife. First two days are London police forces, and the remaining days are SAS too.

    Book Bourne and MGS4 Snake.

    Is that fairer?

But could Bourne even come close to hunting snake?even I f they were given the same target or evade X person/ faction I don’t think Bourne can match snake there

They aren’t hunting each other. The British forces are hunting them.

  12. Alpha or Omega October 6, 2013 at 5:44 pm -      #12

Food shouldn’t be a problem for Snake since he has rations.

Also, I’m positive that both of them can resist capture for at least a week since Snake has his camo and that Jason Bourne does best at what he does.

People seem to be forgetting that Bourne is also scientifically enhanced.

  15. Marcel October 6, 2013 at 10:33 pm -      #15

    At least, in the movies

  16. Abbazorkzog October 12, 2013 at 7:28 pm -      #16

With Shadow’s scenario it is a tie. With OP Snake wins.

Snake ina stomp. He’sgot camo, and better weapons, and he FOUGHT MECHS!

  18. Mecha Streisand June 25, 2014 at 1:28 pm -      #18

Definitely Snake, Bourne is maybe a bit more intelligent and creative, but Snake has better gear, and doesn’t he have more experience? He seems like more of a veteran. If he has Octocamo, could anyone even find him? 🙂 I guess by his breathing, and his smoker’s cough, but he’s basically invisible. And you’re right Bloke 123, Snake fought Mechs and Bourne fought people. Against MGS4 Snake, up close, I wonder if he would win, isn’t he really old? And Bourne is like, fit, and healthy. And not dying from lung cancer :p. I don’t know, maybe Snake would still win though, lots of cool gadgets.
    Snake versus Mecha Streisand! >:)
