Factpilers Vs Horror Classics Round Two

Suggested by Soldier’s Shadow, Gluttenous Behemouth, GuardianAngel1911 and ZomBninjasamurai

Compared to the first I think this is much more difficult…but how many of us could survive this nightmare?

Amnesia: Take the Place of the protagonists of Amnesia the Dark Descent and Penumbra Overture.
The Walking Dead: Survive the second season.
Saw: Survive the first movie.
30 Days of Night: Survive the movie.
Dr. Who Weeping Angels: Manage to survive the angels for an hour to win.
Alien: Take the place of Ripley from the first Alien movie during the last part of the movie, where they have to escape the Nostromo without being killed by the alien, and before the 15 minute self destruct occurs. They’d also have to get rid of the alien that has stowed onto the shuttle they’re escaping on.

You still think you got a chance?

    1: I’ll die
2: never watched the walking dead. Know enough to know I’ll die
    3: I’m dead
4: über screwed. Those things kept me up for 2 weeks after I saw the first episode with them
    5: most likely screwed

  2. Amm0vamp1r3 October 31, 2012 at 2:12 pm -      #2

    1: OH NO, FECK THAT!
2: I think I’d be smarter than some if the idiots on the show, but I’m dead anyway.
3:I’m not good with mutilation, so I die horribly.
    4: I don’t know this one
5: Thanks, one of my biggest fears! I die in the past. If it was SCP-173, I die horribly whilst soiling myself
    6: I’m probably dead.

    @Dante
    Discworld’s Death solos Dante.

  5. Doc Samson October 31, 2012 at 3:20 pm -      #5

I think I’m going to need a new pair of pants if any of these were chasing me. Actually make that six pairs and a man diaper.

  6. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 3:24 pm -      #6

I would go insane, THEN die in amnesia or penumbra, seriously, feck them! God those grunts and kaernks freak me out.

  7. ZomBumgarner October 31, 2012 at 3:28 pm -      #7

    1. I actually like my chances.
    2. I like these chances better.
    3. I dunno, probably at least mutilated.
    4. I’d survive awhile, but I couldn’t hide that long.
    5. Depends on the setting. I probably die in the past.
    6. D-E-A-D.

  8. Doc Samson October 31, 2012 at 3:35 pm -      #8

We should all get a power fist from Fallout 3.

  9. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 3:37 pm -      #9

    @ZomB
Walking Dead would be pretty easy (most of the characters are idiots), but it seems like everyone is dead eventually. We should have a Fo3 scenario as well.

  10. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 3:42 pm -      #10

Oh wait, what do mirrors do to the Angels?

  11. SgCombine October 31, 2012 at 3:50 pm -      #11

    @Ford
I believe if the Angel sees itself it freezes. They did something like that in the episode Blink.
    -
The only one I see myself surviving is the walking dead (maybe).

  12. Cananatra October 31, 2012 at 4:03 pm -      #12

“I believe if the Angel sees itself it freezes. They did something like that in the episode Blink.”
    -
Not if it sees itself, its if another angel sees it.

  13. Dante October 31, 2012 at 4:04 pm -      #13

    “Discworld’s Death solos Dante.”
    Okay? lol

  14. GuardianAngel1911 October 31, 2012 at 4:08 pm -      #14

    1. No idea on it.
    2. Easy enough if I’d have access to my normal gear from real life.
    3. Escape with at worst some mutilation
    4. Keep weapons nearby and move around the town a lot killing when I can and focusing on not being found.
    5. Hide in a house of mirrors lit with torches with me behind a,locked door at the end.
    6. have to rewatch that part

  15. Alpha or Omega October 31, 2012 at 4:36 pm -      #15

Amnesia was a maze for me in some places. Sometimes, I ended up dead or running away from grunts. Doors locked or blocked won’t do any good. I would probably try hide in whatever hides and covers me the most.

  16. Gluttonous-Behemoth October 31, 2012 at 5:00 pm -      #16

    1. I’d do better in Penumbra than Amnesia, but I think I could survive them.
    2. Don’t know a whole lot about the show, but I have decent situational awareness and am pretty good with a Gun.
    3. I’d probably wimp out and die.
    4. I could try to get as much in the way of supplies as possible, then build a snow cave and hide there for a long as I could. If I was found, I’d die.
    5. Depends on the setting. Big open area=Death, I might do better in a confined area like the Secure, Contain, Protect Facility.
    6. I could make it, at least until the part where I have to get rid of the thing. I dunno if I’d be able to do that.

  17. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 5:24 pm -      #17

    @Dante
*hoping not to start horrible war*
    U MAD BRO? It’s true!

  18. Soldier's Shadow October 31, 2012 at 5:47 pm -      #18

For the Weeping Angels portion, it’ll be in Central Park.

    -

    Sound good?

  19. PwNaGE TraiN October 31, 2012 at 5:58 pm -      #19

Well I’m screwed, nice talking to all of you.

  20. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 6:18 pm -      #20

    @Shadow
Yep, im screwed-UNLESS!!-NYC is inhabited at the time, then I’m safe.
    @PwNaGE
    Bye!

  21. OMEGAMI October 31, 2012 at 6:35 pm -      #21

If I was as bad ass as Hank then maybe.
1.Amnesia scared the hell out of me, a barley made it through.
What makes you think it’s going to be the same in real life?
    2. With the right amount of weapons and supplies, but NO.
    3. I know how the games go but when it comes to the ones that requires you to sacrifice or mutilate yourself in order to pass, then it’s over.
4.I have a list of weapons that I will need for this one.
    What’s that, I can’t take them?
    Then No.
5.I never seen that, but I’ll do what all the others say.
    6.Can I have those weapons?
NO!!! Cut me some slack man!!!

  22. PwNaGE TraiN October 31, 2012 at 6:58 pm -      #22

Rather funny, right before I checked the site for something new, I was playing Amnesia and getting scared out of my mind. Then I check the site and now i’m in the game. That just reassured me that I definitely will not be making it through Amnesia alive.

  23. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 7:15 pm -      #23

    @PwNaGE
    Amnesiaception.

  24. Soulerous October 31, 2012 at 10:12 pm -      #24

Amnesia: Don’t know it, but sounds like I’ll die horribly.
The Walking Dead: Most likely I’d survive.
30 Days of Night: Could not do it.
Dr. Who Weeping Angels: If I’m by myself, I’m sure I’d be sent to the past and be beaten up by newsies.
Alien: Xenomorphs really freak me out. With weapons, I may be able to do it. But I confess I have not actually watched any of the movies. May I be spared the incredulity.

  25. Amm0vamp1r3 October 31, 2012 at 10:17 pm -      #25

    Ima expound on my answer
    -
Amnesia: idk know it so i probably could do it
    -
The walking dead:never watched it. but of its slow zombies i could do it maybe.
    -
30 days of night:no the cold would kill me or the vamps but i would not survive
    -
weeping angels;idk what they are but if they have a statue form they must be terrible so i would probably die.
    -
alien:death,if marines couldnt do it i kno i cant.

  26. Khazit October 31, 2012 at 10:17 pm -      #26

    I’m screw, in many levels.

  27. Ford Prefect October 31, 2012 at 10:54 pm -      #27

I hate it when people say “I don’t know about this, but I could do it.” Or “I don’t know about this, so it probably loses” I may be exaggerating, but at least go on the wiki or something.

  28. OriginalA October 31, 2012 at 11:44 pm -      #28

Amnesia: Fuck that. I’m dead already.
The Walking Dead: Got bored after the first episode…. probably dead.
Saw: I think I could make it.
    Weeping Angels: And gone.
Alien: probably dead, but maybe not.

  29. Gluttonous-Behemoth October 31, 2012 at 11:56 pm -      #29

I’m a shitty jumper though, so I’d probably get Wrecked by the Kaernk in Amnesia. And then the Worm Chase in Penumbra.

  30. Khazit November 1, 2012 at 1:44 am -      #30

The only way I could make it is that I have the sentry’s serum

  31. CMEPTb34 November 1, 2012 at 4:47 am -      #31

I’m only familiar with Alien. I think I could have a chance at it, but I would definitely lose points because I would probably sacrifice the cat to buy me time: eat this so I can pull something else out that can hurt you, or get a decent enough headstart on you!
    -
My worst nightmares involve those xenomorphs, and the scariest ones are more similar to the 2nd than the first…even with a fully armed platoon and a promise from God Himself that I would survive, I would not willingly attack a hive of those things. But that might have more to do with older brothers showing me those movies when I was only barely out of diapers than anything else.

  32. Soulerous November 1, 2012 at 6:18 am -      #32

I used to be totally petrified by the aliens from Independence Day.
    ~
I forgot Saw. I’m sure I could do that. I’m fast and a very good jumper. Jumping makes escape more fun.

  33. crazyemu November 1, 2012 at 8:17 am -      #33

    1.) I’ll die
2.) I’ll survive by the skin of my teeth
    3.) I’ll die horrificly
    4.) I think I’ll survive
    5.) I’ll survive
    6.) I’ll die really quickly

  34. Laharl November 1, 2012 at 12:28 pm -      #34

Saw: beat up the guy in the center of the room with a hacksaw until he wakes up.
Amnesia: I can finally pick up things you say and use them as weapons?
Alien: pretty easy win I kill it before it can be born.
Rest I’m fucked in no plot shielding me.

  35. Laharl November 1, 2012 at 12:31 pm -      #35

And no I’m not going to read :P

  36. Ford Prefect November 1, 2012 at 12:49 pm -      #36

    @Laharl
This is more for me than for you (since you won’t read), This is the scene at the end of alien where the alien is already grown

  37. ReDruM November 1, 2012 at 4:36 pm -      #37

We’d all die on all of them except maybe the Saw and Walking Dead ones and I’m not sure about Amnesia.
    -
30 Days of Night took place in Alaska against Vampires who are very mean. Not only can these things outrun a jeep and flip it over you also have to contend with hunger and the cold since they turned off the power to the town so no heat and no light.
    -
Alien is obvious. Since their is no convenient meat shields here and no CIS and PIS the thing would track you down and tear your head off and there’s nothing you can do to stop him. He will always nowhere you are in the station since he can smell you and hear you. the cat would get ate too.

  38. Gollee November 1, 2012 at 5:17 pm -      #38

I live near a military base… I can possibly provide weapons + barbed wire fence+ water supply

  39. Marcel November 1, 2012 at 8:38 pm -      #39

“I’m fast and a very good jumper. Jumping makes escape more fun.”

    Can you dunk?

  40. Xeno Kefka November 1, 2012 at 9:24 pm -      #40

i win all except the weeping angels

  41. Rhododendron November 1, 2012 at 11:55 pm -      #41

Yeah I think my common sense, agility and and cooperative skills would help me survive all except scenario 3. unless its a trap that doesn’t involve inflicting self harm. cause what if it was that a$$ who made their challenges unwinnable….

  42. Soulerous November 2, 2012 at 5:39 am -      #42

    Can you dunk?
-Sure. On children’s hoops. I’m only of average height really, so no. But more importantly, I can duck.

  43. Rorschach November 2, 2012 at 7:24 pm -      #43

So… This is what happens when I’m gone?

  44. Rorschach November 2, 2012 at 7:35 pm -      #44

    In regards to the scenario…
Amnesia: Take the Place of the protagonists of Amnesia the Dark Descent and Penumbra Overture.
If it is limited to game mechanics, it would take me quite a while, but I’d make it.
The Walking Dead: Survive the second season.
    Easy.
    Saw: Survive the first movie.
In which “test”? Depending on the test, I’d make it out…
30 Days of Night: Survive the movie.
This would be a hard one. I’d just hide out with the main characters.
Dr. Who Weeping Angels: Manage to survive the angels for an hour to win.
I don’t know if I’d be able to survive this.
Maybe. Maybe I survive escaping the Nostromo. If I already escaped, the Alien stowaway on the escape shuttle is gone.
