Figures something like this would happen eventually.
I’m vaguely familiar with both, but I’ll hold my vote for now.
Leaning toward the Celestials, because of the lack of knowledge about the other team
I’m in the same boat with Khazit. I’m with the Celestials, but only because I really don’t know who the Downstreamers are.
Once more info comes in, than I can judge better.
I’m pretty sure it’s usually accepted that the Downstreamers could smash the Whoniverse.

Need I say more?
To all Downstreamer supporters that might pop up – Downstreamers won’t be able to do this. Their multiversal destruction feat was a loophole in their universe’s laws of physics, which won’t be an option here. Beyond that, the Downstreamers only real advantage of foreknowledge is useless against the Celestials who are beyond cosmic cubes.
@Itcheyness: The people who think that only think that because they take the guesses of human protagonists and assume those people are infallible, when we know reason to believe them since what they describe are usually new things that thy have never encountered before, and thus have no way to tell if they are correct.
Does this fight include all the Celestials because there billions of them.
it should say “there are”
Celestials are like Galactus tier, and there are billions of them, who are these Downstreamers and what are there feats?
heres a pic of 3 celestials combining to one shot galactus:

The Downstreamers have nothing they can use to attack the Celestials, let alone defend against them. They only have the fact that they exist in the far future, which only helps if your opponent can’t time travel.
Can’t find evidence of Celestial time travel, if anyone has scans that would be appreciated.
Can’t find time travel evidence, so I will concede that point. So without time travel, that means that the Celestials are plopped into the far future, and are up against disembodied consciousnesses.
This thread has feats for the Downstreamers:

I don’t know how reliable that is, but it’s there.
celestials, easily.
just one of them took a shot from the destroyer powered by the cumulative force of all of asgard and not only recovered, but recovered quickly and turned the destroyed to a pile of slag. that was 1. this is the entire race.
@Epicazeroth: Yeah, most of that stuff on the ouskirts battle dome thingy is wanking. The Downstreamers are only omniscient in a closed mutliverse, and they are only really powerful because humanity was the only thing to ever evolve in the multiverse, so they had billions of years to simply grow uninhibited.
Nothing less than Universal Power is hurting the Downstreamers even at their most basic.
-
The downstreamers are constrained by a more realistic set of Physics than the Celestials though.
All I’ve heard/read on this site was “lawl put then against the xeelee or downstreamers” but here everybody is saying they lose…. Maybe “lawl put then against Celestials” should have been in order
@PrimusxPilus: I used to be that way with the Downstreamers, but then I discovered the truth, that the DOwnstreamers are really not that powerful.
Is the feat about the DS’s shield reliable?
In the thread I linked, I mean.
@Epicazeroth: the feat most people reference are the destruction of multiverse(not really a weapon, or even useful in debate), omniscience (only in limited multiverse), and the supposed shield that survived multiple Big Bangs. The problem with the shield is that a) there is no way the occupants were “watching” Big Bangs in real time, as light wouldn’t even exist; b) the human that guesses that feat is doing just that, guessing, he doesn’t know; and c) the shield wouldn’t allow the energy in,but somehow light got in…. Too many loopholes.
Loldownplay.

The feat is what the feat is.
-
It accelerates time while going through it.
-
It gets to the point that time is going fast enough for there to be thousands of Big Bangs per second.
Alright, I was downplaying them a little, it just annoys me that they are always wanked to much (this is a recent thing, in the last couple of months). Yes, I will give them the feat. The downplaying really didn’t start for me until I read the book Manifold: Origin, where the scientist makes all the guesses about the Red Moon and where the Downstreamers ended up. And then people would quote what that scientist thought as fact. I just swung back to far in the other direction.
-
I will stop my downplaying, sorry. I am letting bias get in the way of my debates.
My recent thing means my annoyment is recent, not Downstreamer hysteria.
What would happen if all of the Celestials combined?
Something unknown.
-
How fed was Galactus when he got owned by that combined Celestial?
@itisburgers:@The Imperator :
Actually Celestials have manipulated time/time traveled before:
Here the Black Celestial is able to effortlessly shift in time such that Reed’s time travel machine couldn’t escape from him:

The Continuum cortex in the brain stem of a Celestial can be used as a transport to anywhere in space and time:

Here the Dreaming Celestial initiates the Song of the Sleeper which would have reverted the Earth 13.7 billion years back in time:
