MORTAL KOMBAT! It is partners in crime battling each other as Shinnok, a fallen deity with a desire to take over the Earthrealm, takes on Quan Chi, the most powerful necromancer in the Netherrealm. The two once worked together to overthrow Lucifer as ruler of the Netherrealm, but the two have different plans for what they want to do. Since Shinnok has no appearance in the recent MK game, both fighters shall use the previous timeline incarnations.
Will Shinnok prove his deityhood against his servant? Or will Quan Chi prove he deserves to be the main antagonist of the Mortal Kombat series?

The last time I’ve played Mortal Kombat was ten years ago.
What has changed since then?
Well, Lui Kang died. Raiden died. Turned Evil. Armageddon. Everybody died. And Raiden tried to get his past self to try to stop all that.

MK9 Raiden killed all his allies and enemies as well, leaving these two to be the next big threats.
Shinnok can create clones with their powers present.
Shinnok being lord of the realm Quan Chi inhabits, leads me to believe he wins this quite handily.
They’re not partners in crime. Quan shi is a servant.
since shinnok rules over quan chi doesnt that mean he’d obviously be stronger than him
Spoiler Alert
Shinnok was actually at the end of the new Mortal Kombat campaign. No feats in it though. It’s supposed to lead into Mortal Kombat 10.
@Chuck inglish: Considering how it ended up, I don’t consider Quan believing he was a servant himself.
-
@ka-tet19: See MK4 to Deadly Alliance for why that isn’t the case.
-
@Rorschach: I know. Thus no real appearance.
“Armageddon.”

Terrible game. Kreate a Fighter and Kombat Karts were the only good things about it.

I don’t know if they were making the game for ps2 then, but that generation of MK games sucked ass. The graphics were chunky, the controls were sluggish and unresponsive, and the combos were hopelessly complicated and nearly impossible to perform. The the new one for ps3 came out and life was good.
Well didn’t Onaga took both the Deadly Alliance and Raiden at the same time and then killed both? And isn’t Raiden on par with Shinnok? And Quan Chi can take on Raiden? If so, I am fairly certain that Quan Chi is on par with Shinnok. Not only does Quan Chi most likely have any Kombatant he wants as a summon, sincce he’s Quan Chi the great necromancer of Netherrealm.
Great Kratos brother xD
@Hellboy
glad I’m not the only guy who thought Quan Chi looked familiar, wonder how they would work as a fight if you limited Kratos to his blades of exile/ahtena/chaos depending on what game you picked. Course I don’t know Quan Chi maybe he could take a full power Kratos
Isn’t shinnok a falling elder god?
I suggested this duel because of they are the most looking like assure us they are bad from all the combatants from MK.
