Today we have one hell of a triple threat tag tea! In team one we have General RAAM and Skorge from the Gears Of War universe, team two we have Commander Shepard from Mass Effect teaming up with Subject Delta from Bioshock and teh final team is team three which has Deadpool from the Marvel universe joining forces with HK-47 from the Star Wars universe.
For this match each character has their standard loadouts. Soldier Shepard will be used for this battle and EU is allowed. Map is Point Prometheus from Bioshock 2.

Initial bets with Team 3. What incarnation of Deadpool is being used though? Currently he no longer has his regen so….
Commander Shepard is probably the only one on team 2 that stands a chance against HK-47. Anyway Team 1 dies first, and depending on which incarnation of deadpool, I think team 3 wins pretty easy.
From what I can tell team one is just dead weight so a few questions

1) what class is Shepard? is he a biotic? or a soldier
2) what plasmids does Delta have? If Bioshock 2 is anything like the first one you have to pick what plasmids you have and you can’t have all of them (this is less of an issue as all the plasmids do something plus Delta is a fucking big daddy)
3) what incarnation of Deadpool are we using?

I think the incarnation of Deadpool would be his current one, meaning he has no regen.

since no one else is voting for them i may go for team 1. RAAM carries an auto turrent that blows people apart with a couple of shots and has a “shield” of krill around him. Skorge is deadlyup close,fast enough to get there and can jump amazingly high. What does the map look like, if its like the rest of bioshock ts dark which would work for Skorge.
Soldier Shep has ammo that causes machines to explode, burn stuff to ash/also be explosive, or freeze them. He can apply these to homing explosive concussive shot.
He also got a assault rifle that messes up shields and machines on its own that explodes on contact. Also a pistol that shoots explosive sticky grenades.
Oh and omniblade can be used as a melee weapon or a means to block. Should cut/melt just about anything that it hits or blocks.
Finally, some Subject Delta. If he has all plasmids aside from Summon Eleanor (and if all are lvl3) then he could easily Winter Blast 3 spam the Organics and Electro Bolt HK-47. Maybe he could Auto Hack HK too.

Well he’s wearing a suit that doubles as a space suit, so he has a source of air. He’s also drank a substance that normally kills humans and didn’t die So the poison part might not have that much effect on him.
As for the cloud he’s got tge radar type, targeting, and one of his weapon attachments meant to see through stuff like that.

This is FP, where threads never die, so while the “current” Deadpool doesn’t have regen, I have no doubt that he’ll be back to his old unkillable self at some point.

Even most should be fine since they either have armor or are armor cept maybe deadpool. Shepard has light on his armor, flashlights on his gun, and the omnitool.

Depending on what ammo he uses. Freeze them, burn them/set them on fire, electrocute them, or the old fashion blast them away.

In the 3rd ME did shepards shields get anyenhancements. enough to tank RAAMs shots, which mow down COGs and vehicles.
Did everyone ignore my post about Subject Delta’s Plasmids? With Telekinesis 3 he can throw human size targets around like ragdolls! With Hypnotize…he can…well Hypnotize his enemies into fighting each other, although this wouldn’t work against HK. It has been proven that droids in KOTOR are vulnerable to electrical surges so Electro Bolt could take HK out of the game.
So how do these plasmids work. are they instant, projectiles. i dont play bioshock

Current version of RAAM is his DLC, and it’s not outside help because it’s his primary weapon if you watch the DLC Kryll is his primary weapon while his secondary is a serrated blade
the problem could be solved easily by RAAM staying in the dark.

Team DEADPOO FTW!! The merc with the mouth even w/o regen is pretty deadly and hence should not be underestimated. He did recently killed EVERYONE. Including his own writers I think(DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE(well, he had regen powers, but hey)). Katanas, a range of military weaponry, breakage of the fourth wall( who else here can do that?), he’s a trained hyper lethal mercenary and he’s teamed up with HK-47. Plus, he’s freakin Deadpool.

I guess whatever his standard loadout is. I looked it up on Wookiepedia and found he used a Blaster rifle and a Droid’s assassin rifle. I’ll try and stray away from upgrades and such considering both 47 and Shepard are RPG like characters, so let’s keep this as simple as possible.

That thing was horrible and thankfully non-canon.
Delta apparently has TK and Shepard can rapid-fire freeze ammo that can cause people to shatter when hit with a bit of force. This should take care of Skorge, Raam, and Deadpool(if its him without the healing factor).should at least be enough to leave HK frozen for a bit as well.
Deadpool kills the MU was pretty lame. Pool is still a bullet timer(I think) and he has alot of tricks up his sleve. So I think it comes down to Wade and 47 vs. Shepard and Delta. Although Raam has a pretty powerful gun. Thoughts on the match, anyone?
I’m leaning for Shepard and Delta with their weapons. Though 47 and DP should be able to beat team 1.

I beleive Tmwta calced ME pistols around 50 cal. And the rifles where higher and can shoot faster. The barriers are able to take a bit of fire from them before going out and regular marine gear showed that the armor can take a hit and just be dented.
So he should be fine as long as he don’t stand still like an idiot and take fire.

Shepard should be fine, he’s got a radar, assissted targeting, and a scope that made for such a tactic. He’s also got alot of experiance considering it was one of cerberus’ tactics.

Shep suit should allow him to breath underwater and I think Delta can survive underwater as well. At least going by him looking like he’s in scuba equipment.

So I owuldn’t rule him out just yet, I don’t Suject Delta is even fast enough to freeze or use telekiness on DP as I am sure he can just jump around him.

RAAM’s turret pretty much tars COG soldiers into mush pretty quickly, not sure if Shep’s shield could hold long against them, Delta takes on Big Daddies which can fire 50 Cal bullets if he has healing eves.

Skorge is pretty agile and I reckon he will cause more havoc than people are saying, his chainsaw was able to cut through a cenatuar tank (I think it that), I think he may be able to cut through Delta’s armor but I know nothing about HK-47 and how strong he is againt such things.
I see I must ‘ve the delta/bioshock expert here, so here us what I know:
Delta can survive huge water pressures shown by the bigssister flooding parts of rapture. His duvet gun seems to be of a pretty high caliber, as does his spear gun. Delta also possesses a grenade launcher and a 50 cal getting gun with both anti personnel ans armor piercing rounds. Otherwise he has a remote hack gun that can turn machines to his advantage, including robots. Last but not least, he has his drill which can freeze enemies and drain their health and heal him. It has been shown to impaled smaller targets. Big daddies like delta are shown to move at superhuman speeds when charging with the drill.
Hope this cleared the match up a bit.

Has anybody ever considered the team work necessary to pull thos off?
1. Skorge and RAAM are going to work better than a physcopath and high tech machine it’s in character for Dead Pool to do stupid stuff and not take orders unless he wants to HK is at an disadvantage for having a non trust worthy ally
2. WTF?!? General RAAM and Skorge are not idiots they’re not going to just waltz in and attack, RAAM is a GENERAL! not just a regular general but a general that lead the ENTIRE locust army for FIFTEEN YEARS! locust ONLY attack when they have the advantage RAAM is only bested by HK in terms of combat experience and intelligence other than that RAAM is to not goiting to go on the offense but defense where he can take advantage of his Kryll
3. Skorge his a healer and so is Shepard another advantage team 1 and 2 have over team 3.
4. Skorge absolutely stomps Dead Pool in close quarters he is equal if not better than Dead Pool in terms of agility and speed but has a better weapon as well
5. Team 2 is at a disadvantage because they have no scout (Skorge,Dead Pool) which means they’re going to be like tanks powerful and durable but not very fast
6. GOW wins because General RAAM is going to go on the defense and has better team work, Skorge is going to be a scout/medic providing reconnaissance for RAAM about the enemies, Hk and Shepard however are not going to stay put they’re going to move out and eliminate the enemies

Raam & Skorge don’t need to be idiots, just getting hit by the fully upgraded hypnotize will turn them against each other. Can they withstand multiple armor piercing 50 cal shots? Will phosphorous laced shotgun shells ignite them?
On another note, does delta get all his plasmids, cause he is OP with all of them and Drill Speedblitz (only with his drill though).
I forgot to mention gene tonics as well. With one such as Electrical Storm, he will be extremely dangerous in melee as any damage done to him will cause an electrical surge in the nearby vicinity. With an upgrade, his drill can freeze enemies in place after striking them. If he uses the Scout plasmid, he can become invisible and use other plasmids on his enemies or Remote Hack Dart HK-47

Shep doesn’t need to scout. He’s got navigation and his senors should be able to pick them up before he they can. Plus did you forget he technically a double future spec operative.(1 part human, 1 part galactic). He should be fine scouting.
Besides that Shep isn’t a slow tank. He’s fairly mobile and has both training and experiance in traversing hostile terrain.
Don’t know anout Delta, he may be a tank.
So no kryll thats fine but what does this battle field look like

Delta has a powerful offense but a low-medium defense, and yes Skorge will easily doge Delta’s attacks since he doges bullets in game and Skorge will easily cut Delta in half if thugs with crow bars can hurt him, RAAM survived his reaper exploding in his face and his armor tanked gun fire from a squad of gears with out a scratch RAAM’s durability plus Skorges healing is a huge advantage not to mention team 3 is more likely to take out team 2 before they meet team 1.

Kryll isn’t a power. They are essentially a speices of flying pirahna.
He has the power to control them. Its’s just that there aren’t any kryll left to control and the battlefield takes place where they didn’t exist in the first place.

Delta apparently has hypnosis, TK, and freeze, and electric powers. Shepard has the ability to freeze people enough that enough force they shatter(cryo), electrocute them/stunning them(disruptor), or negate healing(incindiary).
They both have the ability to either immobilize/shatter or stun someone long enough to unload on them before they get close.

Hypnotize is a ranged power, and I highly doubt Skorge is dodging life lightning or spontaneous combustion via electro bolt and incinerate respectively.

Delta (or at least another alpha series, subject sigma) tank hits from lasers (Minerva’s den dlc) flag grenades, heat seeking rockets, lightning, incinerate plasmids, 00 buck and slug shotgun blasts at point blank, and armour piercing 50. Cal gatling style rounds. He is immensely strong, enough to toss enemies and send them flying with his drill dash, and certain tonics augment this ability such as armored shell. Sports boost lets him move much faster then normal and with the scout plasmid he can …what astrally project or something where he can’t be harmed and use other offensive plasmids in his ghostly form.
is all this standard load out for him or just upgrades

Yep, pretty much standard except for scout hypnotize and the tonics, but their fairly common so I’d include them.

What? Skorge STOMPS Deadpool in hand-to-hand? Have you even looked at Wade’s feats, DP is amoung one of the top martial artists in the MU. It also helps that he wields a pair of admatium blades. DP’s swords>Skorge’s Staff of Ra.
Does anybody know what RAAMs gun fires ince it can blow people apart with a couple shots. and getting close wouldnt be good since he has a sword and his strong enough to lift fully armored COG solders and flip cars casually.
DP has shown resistance to mind control in the past, mind control from Emma Frost and Charles Xavier. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Delta’s hypnosis would not effect Wade. Or HK-47 since he is a droid.

I knew about deadpool’s mind resistance, I was suggesting hypnotize or enrage could confuse team one and give teams two and three an opportunity to finish them off. He could hit hk with an auto hack dart (Google bioshock 2 auto hack darts) and command him to fight for team two. Delta really needs more matches, in some (like this one) he’s ridiculously OP.
Damn. I wish you would help out on the VS. Match aide on the forums Smeagolicious, your knowledge would really help matches like this. No one really mentioned the Delta stuff. I’m about to look up hack darts. Although I’m skeptical it would effect HK-47 simply due to the fact that Star Wars tech is pretty advanced. But yeah if you get a chance Smeago, you would be greatly appreciated on the forums.

ok so how long does this mind control last or hypnotze last and can he kep it up while getting shot.
Hypnotize lasts around 60 sec i think, and hacking is permanent. Hypnotize lasts 60 sec after they get hit, it doesn’t need to be maintained so delta can cast it and still return fire and dodge attacks.
Now that I think of it, I seem to remember something about HK’s systems being rigged to explode if tampered with coming up when Raven is repairing him.

Oh yeah, that was an annoying sidequest, so maybe upon sensing the intrusion, he explodes, possibly hitting deadpool. I doubt he just explodes when under possible hack threat, but still, it’s kinda funny.

Well I think “current incarnation” for HK is actually over 3000 years later, so who knows if he’s still so rigged.

I would say that Delta’s resistance to all of those may be game mechanics… the closest thing to his durability would be the cutscene which he get’s flooded by the Big sister. All that water pressure’s gotta mean something in the durability department.

Delta’s Hack darts are good, but then it take’s time for him to hack it.
Also, are we certain it would work with HK? The only thing those hack darts worked on were slightly advanced Camera’s, door controls and flying drone’s from the (50′s… 60′s)

Skorge is the most Agile player here, playing that right could get him the win with little trouble. His Staff of Ra cut an entire centar Tank in half and was able to go head to head against another chainsaw without breaking the teeth (the fight with marcus was obviously PIS, but the Chainsaw vs Chainsaw is good) or breaking the staff itself.

RAAM has the biggest gun by-far, and I was certain that Epic was wanting him to have his Kryll. Beside’s, RAAM comes with Kryll, you really cant have one without the other.

Shepard has a good standard loadout, but he has to actually hit Skorge who (i’m certain) dodged bullets and has amazing agility and jumping strength.

Delta’s body wont hold up to Skorge’s staff, he die’s quickly and requires many Medkits to stay up and running for long periods of time. But his plasmids will be tough as all hell to combat against considering their ability to stun and decimate.

Lightning wont kill anyone, but will give him a chance to go in for that kill shot.

TK would do well, but I’ve only seen it used on objects and such.

ME guns are sort of like railguns, the round are faster. Shepard himself has enhanced reflexes/reactions that allow time to seem to slow to him. Helps for lining up shots, moving faster, that sort of thing.
Besides that one of his attacks has limited seeking ability some of his abilities/gear is explosive so even if it say misses and hits like the floor or the walls near him it still shoupd get a hit in.
Forgot, Shepard has had experience with taking down targets that like to zip around in fighting against Geth Hoppers before the enhancement resurrection. So Skorge isn’t exactly new.

So skorge and Deadpool will be jumping around blasting everything that is not a team member. RAAM and Delta will be tanking through the field shooting the most heavy duty machinery. idk about hk. Shepard will be taking cover and shooting from cover. He may be the only person that uses cover in the match.. And we need the admin or the match creator to chime in on this kryll thing.
I’d like to know the mechanics behind SD’s hacking, I really don’t see any reason he should be able to hack HK. Also, droids in KOTOR were vulnerable to “ion” based damage, not “electrical” damage, IIRC.
If HK is using his sniper that should count for something, not saying it’s an indefinite out but if the others are fighting while he’s taking time to line up a head shot, is there much the others could do? I’m not sure how powerful it is but I assume it’ll kill any of team 1 and possibly team 2 if he hits them and we know he’s taken on several missions before where he put those skills to use, I’m no expert on his specs and what not but I just felt it was worth mentioning.

I believe there is more than enough room for DP and Skorge to be able to jump in and out of a fight.

Also DP has adamanatuim swords they will do more than stand against Skorge’s staff.
