Batman Incarnation Free-For-All

Suggested By Guardianangel1911

Quite a battle we have here, one I think we won’t see a winner for a while.

Participating in this fight are Adam West Batman, George Clooney Batman,Val Kilmer Batman, Michael Keaton Batman, Christian Bale Batman, Batman DCAU, The Batman Batman, Batman the Brave and the Bold Batman, Batman from Arkham Asylum and City, Comic Batman, Terry McGinnus from Batman Beyond.

Battle takes place in Gotham. Who is the true Batman. Any gear they have is allowed no holds barred.

Secondary rounds:
Which is a more effective crime fighter?
Which is a better detective.?
Which wins in a Batmobile Race car modes only.? (McGinnus is limited to street level and can’t go over buildings)

Who wins?

Wait… you’re kidding right? Comic Batman, without a doubt. maybe if this were a fight, McGinnis would have a chance but even then theres no need for all the others.
    -
    Why? Just why?

  2. The Imperator September 3, 2012 at 8:32 am -      #2

    Comic Batman wins.

  3. Soulerous September 3, 2012 at 8:38 am -      #3

I think this was a good idea with a rather bad subject choice. Maybe if Comic Batman is taken out, this could get interesting.

  4. ZomBreakdance September 3, 2012 at 8:39 am -      #4

Actually this match has potential… The shortest match to get a FP Award. I don’t think anyone will question Comic Batman’s win here. So, Comic Bats for the FP Award.

  5. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 8:54 am -      #5

If I take Comic Batman out will things be a little more interesting?
Seriously, why is it when I put these matches on the VS Match Aide no one points out things like Comic Batman isn’t a good choice to leave in.
I will say go ahead and ignore the secondary rounds, focus on the no prep battle. If making it standard gear only is better someone let me know.

  6. lancer_AR September 3, 2012 at 9:10 am -      #6

I imagine with comic batman out of the picture will be more interesting though if you don’t mind me throwing in my two cents it may lean more towards batman beyond.

question: are we using Bruce Wayne for batman beyond of the other kid

  7. Captain Epic September 3, 2012 at 9:20 am -      #7

What about the Brave and the Bold Batman? According to Asger he is insanely superhuman. Couldn’t he put up a fight for Comic?

  8. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 9:23 am -      #8

    @Captain Epic
thats what I thought too. thats why I went ahead and suggested it.
    @lancer
Terry, the kid, and one pictured.

  9. Hermit September 3, 2012 at 9:48 am -      #9

Terry’s Batwing was stated to go up to Mach 15, in the episode where the Justice League got mind controlled by aliens. (correction would be highly appreciated)
Still not enough to outrun Superman.
    -
The Batman Batman should be the better detective, if for no reason than he’s actually seen doing actual detective work.

  10. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 9:51 am -      #10

    @Hermit
as far as the actual fight should Comic Batman be removed?

  11. ZomBreakdance September 3, 2012 at 9:58 am -      #11

“Terry’s Batwing was stated to go up to Mach 15″
    -

    -
Last I checked, the Batwing wasn’t a car.

    @ GA
    I honestly don’t know
    -
    @ ZomB
    Uh, whoops?

  13. AkumaTh September 3, 2012 at 10:02 am -      #13

I also am putting my money on Batman: B&B version to win the fighting portion. He has stood toe to toe with an Evil Superman without Kryptonite, Darkseid, mentally survived Emperor Joker’s numerous murders of him unlike Comic Batman, and Survive a planet explosion bomb (5:38).
    -
He is quite literally the Batman fanboys think Batman is.

  14. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 10:06 am -      #14

I’m debating making a slight alteration. two battles, one between all the live action incarnations standard equipment only.
    one between the other incarnations.
Would anyone complain if I do that?

  15. The King of Heroes September 3, 2012 at 10:11 am -      #15

To be fair he armor during that Superman fight. I mean we all know T.v. Superman is weaker then comic Superman.

  16. ZomBreakdance September 3, 2012 at 10:11 am -      #16

“He has stood toe to toe with an Evil Superman without Kryptonite”
    -
I lol’d so much… Bright side, it made me remember why Krypto is my favorite of the Super-Family.

  17. AkumaTh September 3, 2012 at 10:14 am -      #17

@KoH: But if all things are even, then that feat is still impressive. Not to mention Comic Batman never fought Superman full out without Kryptonite.

  18. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 10:27 am -      #18

anyone want to say anything about my idea in post 14 before we hit the 50 post mark?

  19. AkumaTh September 3, 2012 at 10:35 am -      #19

I think there was a movie incarnation match already made. If not, sure since they don’t have a chance.

  20. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 10:38 am -      #20

There was a Joker one but I’ll check for a Batman one again.

  21. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 10:42 am -      #21

Yeah just Joker. Keaton and Bale Batman clashed but no others involved.

My only problem with that, is how would we decide who gets the FP-Award?

  23. Hermit September 3, 2012 at 11:43 am -      #23

    I believe it’s with a majority vote.

    @Guardian

    -

No one pointed it out because it lasted only six comments before you went ahead and suggested it.

    -

I think a CQC fight would be great to see, it was the whole reason I asked on the Topia if all Bats had that level of skill.

    -

On a side note, I prefer DCAU and Batman Beyond incarnations over any Batman. The Batman wasn’t bad though.

    -

Batman stomps Batman here. No way Bats can get around Bruce’s superiority in anyway.

    Batman > Batman /thread

“Batman stomps Batman here. No way Bats can get around Bruce’s superiority in anyway.”
    -
Since there is one Batman here that isn’t Bruce Wayne I need evidence that shows Terry (who is pretty much in the DC equivalent to iron man armor) can’t defeat a single Bruce Wayne.

  31. Soldier's Shadow September 3, 2012 at 1:17 pm -      #31

Terry can likely take on the other cartoon Batmen as well as outright beat the older movie ones but I doubt he can take on Comic Batman.

    -

He lacks the large tech arsenal and the physical standing in comparison.

He has no chance against tBatB-Batman, that one can run fast enough to keep up with the Flash….

“He probably has anti-Batman-bat-spray on his utility belt too.”
Now a comment like this I was waiting for.
In regards to the match, Batman will solo Batman any day. Batman with prep time might pose a threat to Batman, but due to Batman’s reaction time and speed, I’m sure Batman will pull out a win in the end. Batman solos.

  38. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 2:09 pm -      #38

If I split it between live action and non live action the two winners face off to be the Batman of Batmen.

  39. Commander Cross September 3, 2012 at 2:12 pm -      #39

    @Admiral

You may want to consider doing that, actually.

  40. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 2:12 pm -      #40

I think yes, the two rounds, then the winners fight for the title of Ultimate Batman

So which Live action wins. Which non live action wins.

“Ideas for next name: ZomBreakfast, ZomBody, ZomBatman , ZomBusiness, ZomBeast, ZomBanish, ZomBarrage. So many possible names…”
    -
    This made my day.

  46. Soldier's Shadow September 3, 2012 at 3:26 pm -      #46

    “So which Live action wins”

Bale’s Batman from what I’ve seen. Could be wrong as it’s been ages since I’ve seen the other Batmen.

    “Which non live action wins”

Comic Batman or Brave and the Bold Batman.

    Best Batman ever? DCAU Bats.

  47. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 3:50 pm -      #47

I think Bale Bats takes Live action as well. Though I don’t know if West might pull something out of his belt. Bale Bats just has the best combat ability.
    ——–
The non live action is where things are tricky, Comic and Brave and The Bold have the best tech followed by Terry and The Batman Batman. DCAU slightly under them. Bottom of the pole you get Arkham City Bats.
Arkham City Bats goes down first. DCAU while not exactly outclassed in physical stats and brains is outclassed in the gear department. He may be able to take Terry if he’s careful and either way those two are next ones out.
Lets say Terry beats DCAU Bats.
Now we have a very interesting matchup. Comic, tB&tB, The Batman, and Batman Beyond Batmen, the Bats with the best toys. Lets say for argument they are evenly matched physically other than Terry with that suit of his. There is one thing the other three have in common. They have Batbots. So the big toys get busted out since they have ways of summoning them. Terry is quickly decimated by Comic Bats while Brave and the Bold and the Batman clash in their mechs. While Brave and the Bolds bot is stronger The Batman has a remote control jet powered Batmobile. He loses the battle but not witout fucking up Brave and the Bolds ride. Now its two Bats standing Brave and the Bold has gadgets to deal with the bat bot so now its Bat to Bat, but Brave and the bold has a,lightsaber

“Which is a more effective crime fighter?

    -
Comic, he not only got all the skillz. He gone Tony Stark with his gadgets and corporation. He’s got gear in the police deparment to save him time from sneaking in there to examin stuff. A small army of batmen. And gadgets to help back his own skills like contact lenses that reading lip and acts as a lie detector which he can use even outside of the batman persona.

Followed DCAU Batman, everybody knows the JL would’ve been lost without him.

Tied by The Batman Batman/Arkum Asylum Batman for third.

“Which wins in a Batmobile Race car modes only.? (McGinnus is limited to street level and can’t go over buildings)”

  50. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 3:58 pm -      #50

No B&B had stealth but hardly used it. course this is a head on battle unless they flee to a different part of Gotham to get an edge.

  51. Chuck inglish September 3, 2012 at 4:25 pm -      #51

Batman from Brave and the Bold has his cape turn into a jetpack which he can travel to space in a matter of momments (episode 1) and he has lightsaber in his utility belt

“Course this is a head on battle unless they flee to a different part of Gotham to get an edge.”
    -
Stealth can used for more then just running away. Comic batman sometimes uses it like a psudo flash step. Guy shoots, finishes, Batman isn’t there, look behind him, there’s Batman.
Though that probably not going to work on other batmen.
    I was just wondering.

  67. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 6:16 pm -      #67

Not sure, Brave and the Bold I don’t remember seeing out of costume. I’d assume all of them have their same level of martial arts skill outside of it but they employ their combat in such different ways it’s tricky.

  68. Atomic Iron Lowk September 3, 2012 at 6:46 pm -      #68

“Who would be the strongest out of the costume?”
    -
Well comic Bruce took on Talons(Cap A enhanced like, undead, nightwing like acrobatic, ninjas, with healing factors) without his suit.
The first one he encountered he had to do while being watched so he used moves that look like they would be lucky hits but weren’t. Then after he was injured in a building explosion took on several of them when they came to his house equipped with only his Batrobe and stuff around him to survive until he got to the cave. Plus his contacts and earpeice come in handy when he’s not in costume.

  69. Atomic Iron Lowk September 3, 2012 at 6:49 pm -      #69

    @GA
The only time I can remember right now for B&B was the episode with Bronze Tiger when they showed him training before being batman.

  70. GuardianAngel1911 September 3, 2012 at 6:52 pm -      #70

    Same here.
As for that round, I think it comes down to Batman Brave and the Bold Batman, Comic Batman, and The Batman Batman as the final three.

  71. Atomic Iron Lowk September 3, 2012 at 7:14 pm -      #71

Arkham A/C Bats ended up getting the Joker killed. Forget Any of them taking on Supes or gadgetry; that Bat beat Joker Immunity. I bet other Bats go to sleep wishing for shit like dead joker for good, while keeping own hands clean, and it being entirely Joker’s fault.

  72. The Black Crusader September 3, 2012 at 7:42 pm -      #72

By far Comic Batman. He can bench press 1000 lb, has an unbelievably strong will, a belt full of gadgets, and can pwn League of Assassins ninjas like they’re nothing.

Looking at it on a base level, he’s BY FAR more physically powerful than any other incarnation of Batman. He takes this handily.

  73. Captain Epic September 3, 2012 at 8:07 pm -      #73

TheBatman has my personal favorite theme:
    -

  74. AkumaTh September 3, 2012 at 8:29 pm -      #74

The Batman’s Batman has dealt with Superman going nuts because of Luthor too.
    -
The difference is how Superman was nuts. B&B Batman had to deal with a Red Kryptonite Infected Superman, who was essentially Superman if he was evil. The Batman had to deal with a mind controlled Superman, who only had the basic functions and none of the Superman tact. B&B Batman had the more difficult fight.
    -
Arkham A/C Bats ended up getting the Joker killed. Forget Any of them taking on Supes or gadgetry; that Bat beat Joker Immunity.
    -
Spoilers, but Joker killed Joker. Batman himself even said that he would have saved him if the Joker didn’t attack him.
    -

B&B Batman survived a planet destroying bomb explosion and reentry to a planet. I believe physically powerful is him.
    -
Though I will say The Batman had the best final line ever.

I admit it’s far from the same circumstances but its something.
    ————–
and yeah B&B Bats is probably the more physically powerful, unless you count Terry in his suit.
It comes down to the toys in that round really. And the best toys belong to B&B Bats, Comic Bats, and The Batman Bats. Terry has a cool suit but gear wise not much more than the other Batmen, fairly similar really. His edge is the cloak but in the end its not enough.

“B&B Batman survived a planet destroying bomb explosion and reentry to a planet. I believe physically powerful is him.”

Wtf wow… I never watched B&B. I did watch JL though. Alright, this might actually be a debate. Well, the combat portion might be a debate.
    -
Comics Batman is the greatest detective here hands down.
    -
There are a ton of feats, so I just linked the page on which I found them.
    batmanfeats.blogspot.com/p/deduction.html
    -
Highlights include multiple feats of deduction, like finding out that J’onn is a telepath, figuring out that a Riddler hologram was a hologram because of its lack of smell, and solving a multiple-murders case that had Detective Chimp stumped (who can solve multiple murder cases by looking at them).

    Couldn’t that be considered PIS?

B&B Batman dictates what Batman does and does not eat.
    Batman does not eat nachos!

    @Stealth
    how is surviving reentry PIS?

  89. AkumaTh September 4, 2012 at 12:45 pm -      #89

    Couldn’t that be considered PIS?
    -
No. Plot Induced Stupidity is villains not killing Batman despite the fact they can. Heck, they even made fun of this fact in the Brave and the Bold.
    -
That is an actual feat like lifting 1000 pounds or deducing things.

Don’t count TAS Batman for detective abilities… I got three feats of such here!

    Feat 1
    Feat 2
    Feat 3
    -
And to make sure B&B Batman get some love in that, here’s a feat of him.

Why is Batman better than Batman?

  93. AkumaTh September 4, 2012 at 4:37 pm -      #93

To continue to promote B&B Batman, he has done something Comic Batman has done, team up with Sherlock Holmes.
    -
Not only that but also with Space Ghost, Abe Lincoln (of another world) and the Animated Series Batman.
    -
Not to mention, Every other Batman ever!

The question is, which one of these Batmen faced the Batman’s greatest enemy: Rock and Roll!
    -
Not sure about the others (except Comic Batman) but B&B Batman had to deal with Neil Patrick Harris, AKA Dr. Horrible.

    definitly comic bat.

  99. Commander Cross September 5, 2012 at 10:15 pm -      #99

    @Gentleman ‘MessMaker’ Marcone

Batman still does not Eat Batman, though, you realize this already, right? o.O’

I think Comic bats takes half the scenario. Terry takes the race and I’m on the fence between B&B and Comic.
