Seeing as both are at their peak…. tough call.
    -
In regards to physical ability they should be comparable in terms of strength, speed, durability and reactions
    -
Darsh’s Dispel Bound would protect him from Thor’s hax powers though and Darsh does have enormous regeneration to boot
    -
Im on the fence, but I’m leaning toward Dark Schneider for now

  2. Soldier's Shadow August 27, 2012 at 8:35 am -      #2

Can Thor tank a galaxy busting attack? Dispel Bound already negates much of the Odinforce’s hax use.

    -

Unless Thor can destroy Darsh on the three planes, I can’t see him winning this.

  3. Obyron August 27, 2012 at 8:59 am -      #3

Yeah, something tells me that DS will win… just not sure if it’s a stomp… I only have up to volume 14 in the manga.

  4. a.h.k. August 27, 2012 at 9:36 am -      #4

Dispel Bound? What is that and how does it negate the freaking Odin Force?

  5. Soldier's Shadow August 27, 2012 at 9:50 am -      #5

Dispel Bound negates practically all forms of attack such as hax ones. Thor would likely be forced to fight melee with Darsh and while he may be more skilled, I assume, Darsh’s sheer amount of power is enormous for even Thor to deal with.

We need some TTGL on this site…

And is this Dispel Bound thing actually more powerful than the Odinforce?

  9. a.h.k. August 27, 2012 at 10:13 am -      #9

Okay 1: How do you work ?
2: Looks powerful from what I can decipher, but again, what makes this actually stop the Odin Force? Is it that “infinite atoms” thing?

  10. a.h.k. August 27, 2012 at 10:14 am -      #10

DAMN! Okay. , how do I use it properly?

  11. a.h.k. August 27, 2012 at 10:14 am -      #11

… <i , HOW? God this is frustrating.

    Can darsh even die?

  13. Ruliya August 27, 2012 at 10:23 am -      #13

“In a high level fight are used to ban the attacks of the enemy with countless defense-forcefields.”
    __
Does that mean things like Thors lightning would hit a defence field instead of DS?
    __
“In order to destroy the ‘infinite atoms’ that build the core of both their existance, they have to destroy the outershell which contains the formula for the spell bound first and then shield for a shield making their way to the core”
    __
The wording in these comics is a little confusing >.<. So Thor has to crush these shields to bring down the Dispel bound?
    __
Has the Dispel Bound been used on opponents that don't have a Dispel Bound of their own, because it seems each opponent has one, in order to negate the others, as it were.

Dispel Bound… Seems like a NLF.

  15. Soldier's Shadow August 27, 2012 at 10:35 am -      #15

“Does that mean things like Thors lightning would hit a defence field instead of DS?”

    -

Most likely, it’d hit one before Darsh himself but I’m not fully sure as Bastard!! is not something I’m really keen on.

    -

    Best wait on Stealth.

    -

“Dispel Bound… Seems like a NLF.”

    -

It’s like an anime version of the 40K Khorne blessing so…it could probably be bordering on NLFs.

    -

Best we wait for Stealth as he seems to be the only major Bastard!! fan on the site. I’m just going by what I gathered of Darsh.

  16. Shgon Dunstan August 27, 2012 at 10:39 am -      #16

Well something can have NL, without being a NLF, but I don’t know anything of Dark Schneider, so it up to people who do to prove if it is or not.

Majin Ds will destroy Thor he wins this easily .

  19. Atomic Iron Lowk August 27, 2012 at 12:31 pm -      #19

Couldn’t read all of D. Bound. Does it have a defense again Thor just canceling all the magic(thats what D Bound is right?) in the area?

    Not current Strange. SS probably.

feats for Thor all these are either before he had Odinforce or after so Rune King should have at least this level.

that’s before he tears into possessed Hulk, notice the last comment by Thor “and him I liked….but you were always a giant pain in the ass” Thor killed someone he liked, what could he do to someone he has no reason to like, like Dark Schneider

would feats for Beta Ray Bill count for Thor as well?

  24. w00tm0ng3r August 27, 2012 at 2:28 pm -      #24

“Can Thor tank a galaxy busting attack? Dispel Bound already negates much of the Odinforce’s hax use.

    -

Unless Thor can destroy Darsh on the three planes, I can’t see him winning this.”
    -
Odinforce Thor doesn’t have that many feats but let’s assume he’s equal to Odin himself. Odin is supposed to be on par with Galactus and has beaten Infinity. He fought Seth on all planes of existence at once and they destroyed multiple galaxies. So I’d say yes to both questions.
    -
Also Thor potentially could’ve had access to the Odinforce AND the power of the runes at once since it never said he lost the rune king powers, giving him TWO near infinite power sources.

  25. Tarbel August 27, 2012 at 5:08 pm -      #25

I believe Dark Schneider universe angels were said to be easily ftl + ftl reaction.
But they can only shake worlds with their power?

  26. Captain Epic August 27, 2012 at 5:51 pm -      #26

I think Rune King Thor beat Galactus. Not sure though. GA posted some great feats but I know “Darsh” is one tough cookie.

  27. StealthRanger August 27, 2012 at 6:39 pm -      #27

Thor is at his peak for this match. Would that be Rune King Thor or Odinforce Thor?
    -
“Does that mean things like Thors lightning would hit a defence field instead of DS?”
    -
Dispel Bound is capable of tanking nukes like flies on a windshield so yes it would
    -
And Dispel Bound is composed of hundreds to thousands of magic shields which have to be destroyed one at a time, and they have to be one shotted to be levelled, or else they regenerate

  28. Atomic Iron Lowk August 27, 2012 at 7:01 pm -      #28

“And Dispel Bound is composed of hundreds to thousands of magic shields which have to be destroyed one at a time, and they have to be one shotted to be levelled, or else they regenerate”
    -
Thor’s Hammer can negate magic and it can be a sustained effect. So he should be able to use this to turn them off for a duration right?

I have a bunch of feats waiting to be posted after debating Superman vs Thor on Crosses site, I figured might as well try to make this one a fair fight.
I think that when Thor was Rune King Thor he had surpassed Odin since he defeated those….shillouetted gods (can’t recall what they were called)

No, Seraphs are capable of pulverising entire planets with their raw power going by mah scan

  33. GuardianAngel1911 August 27, 2012 at 9:12 pm -      #33

so DS and Thor are both capable of planet busting then?

eh I found the scans, course with him doing something similar to galaxy busting blasts earlier as well it seems like this could turn into a tennis fight, with DS tossing a Galaxy Buster and Thor sending it back at him.
either way this is one of the better fights in a while

  40. StealthRanger August 27, 2012 at 10:22 pm -      #40

I’ll start where Thor’s era stopped. Below are scans of Thor v2 #84, and#85 in which Thor ends Ragnarok. These scans show how Thor surpasses Odin and power, and his current status. These scans also include a fight with Mangog, and Loki.

He’s back the guy who’s a douche is his old enemy Ulik the Troll, he paid off someone to cast a spell make people forget Thor, but Thor’s back, ironically thanks to Loki with assistance from Silver Surfer.
He’s back and in the Avengers vs X-Men arc

Both of them. Even if they don’t have much merit here, they’re still pretty badass in their own rights

Still, this is one of the better matches here imho

  58. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 12:00 am -      #60

yeah, if nothing else it shows that even without Rune King/Odinforce he’s a force to be reckoned with.

definitely in recent memory, course that could just be cause it’s got a character I know and can debate for in it.

Darsh recreates Fallen Uriels sister from memory alone, which was believed to be something only God could do (archangels are extremely complex beings)

  60. StealthRanger August 28, 2012 at 12:18 am -      #62

“definitely in recent memory, course that could just be cause it’s got a character I know and can debate for in it.”
    -
Indeed. It’s got a character I know and another character I have some knowledge on
    -
And its also good because I got Darsh a proper debateable match that almost makes up for his utterly shameful debut match

  61. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 12:26 am -      #63

the recreating an archangel feat is pretty badass, definitely reiterates the level of beings we’re dealing with here (and that god is a very relative term, since there are plenty of beings labeled gods that couldn’t do any of this stuff [looking at god of war] and some beings that aren’t even labeled gods that could [Asura is technically called a demigod in his game])
Thor stalemating the skyfather level Marvel Zeus for months while his classic levels

eh, DS’s debut wasn’t the worst debut anyone has had on this site, and it won’t be the last poor debut.
Dresden’s first match was a hideous stomp for him too, course that match was before I was on the site. So DS isn’t alone in having a poor debut, there’s dozens of characters with them.
    ——————
speaking of DS’s debut, I almost miss DReager, he may have been a troll but at least he never brought stuff back up after it was debunked like other trolls on this site.

“I almost miss DReager, he may have been a troll but at least he never brought stuff back up after it was debunked like other trolls on this site”

Meh, as much as he annoyed me greatly, he did have a lot of potential to be a good debater
    -
“So DS isn’t alone in having a poor debut, there’s dozens of characters with them.”
    -
Full Frontal, Leman Russ, Mortarion, Lorgar, Sanguinius, Angron, Dr Strange, Dante, etc also are in the same vein as Darsh, in that they stomped their enemy in their debut

true, and he has teleported dimensionally in the past, so he could probably get back. I really don’t know how it would work, or if Thor would fall close enough to demon to be affected at all.

  73. StealthRanger August 28, 2012 at 1:52 am -      #75

Problem is the spell exorcises (strips powers) whatever it traps inside the seal. Then again thats with demons. As such, not sure if it’ll work on Thor or not

  74. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 2:04 am -      #76

true, I don’t know if it’s worth putting much faith in that though.

  75. StealthRanger August 28, 2012 at 2:08 am -      #77

Meh, like I said, im not sure how it would impact the battle

  76. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 2:16 am -      #78

I don’t think it’s worth the argument of if it would work, just seems unlikely it would work on Thor.
I think Thor can win this, it’s just a matter of taking out DS’s defenses which he should be able to do.
I think it would be an epic battle though, I don’t really know if I’ll say Thor wins with complete certainty, but I think he’s capable of taking DS down. I’d say it’s 60/40 maybe closer, in Thor’s favor.

  77. the 198 August 28, 2012 at 3:18 am -      #79

not sure how fast he would need to be but tosses Spidey into space before he can react, which says something.

Keep in mind that this is all normal Thor, no Odinforce or Rune Magic.

    -

Also keep in mind that Thor is usually holding back most of his power so that he doesn’t destroy what he’s trying to save.

    -

Sorry for the super long post

puhhhh intresting to say the least…
    -
hmm… hart to tell can rune king thor

  83. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 2:42 pm -      #86

well I posted something where he ripped open various dimensions to banish people, he may be able to rip open the three planes of existance and kill him in all three.
    @Harbringer
I think I posted some of those, not all but some of them, not sure though.
    —————–
    @thread in general again
overall Thor has a lot more power than he lets on, the only reason Hulk sometimes wins is because the writers make him a punching bag and won’t let Thor hurt Banner, if Hulk wasn’t part of Banner Thor would be free to kill him, Thor won’t kill a good friend though.
    ———-
massive transmutation to turn gods mortal even affects him and Ironman who he channeled it through the armor of

just repointing this out but Rune King Thor in an alternate timeline owning Thing and Hulk and killing them. With one eye and one arm and after losing Odin Force thanks to Strange

“not sure how fast he would need to be but tosses Spidey into space before he can react, which says something.”
    -
Well, Spidey is a casual bullet timer, so Thor would at least have to be high supersonic for that. Plus escape velocity is Mach 32+ so he’d have thrown Spidey that fast
    -
“the only reason Hulk sometimes wins is because the writers make him a punching bag and won’t let Thor hurt Banner”
    -
Thor normally beats Hulk due to PIS if i’m right. Thor is on par with/superior to him physically with some fancy powers of his own

  86. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 6:55 pm -      #89

Thor can deadlock Hulk when he holds back, when he doesn’t hold back in the past he’s nearly killed Hulk, and in that one timeline he ended up changing the incident in post 87 happened.

  87. StealthRanger August 28, 2012 at 6:57 pm -      #90

*looks at my earlier post and facepalms*
    -
I meant to say Thor normally *loses* to Hulk because of PIS

    @Post 87

What story is that?? I want it.

  89. Atomic Iron Lowk August 28, 2012 at 7:06 pm -      #92

    @GA & SR
Thor mostly fights against one of the weaker Hulk. So in away they both aren’t exactly operating at max. If they were I’d assume that they’d put the planet at risk from the conflict.

  90. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 7:38 pm -      #93

    @a.h.k.
I wish I could tell you I found the scans on a Thor Respect Thread www.comicvine.com/thor/29-2268/best-scansfeats-of-current-thor/92-593127/?page=5
    @Lowk
I know, Thor’s strongest would be either Maestro or Hulk depending and Thor always holds back with mortals.
    @Stealth
    no big deal.

  91. PrimusxPilus August 28, 2012 at 7:45 pm -      #94

This thread restores my faith in factpile.

  92. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 7:46 pm -      #95

    @Primus
because of the match itself or the civility of the debate

  93. PrimusxPilus August 28, 2012 at 7:59 pm -      #96

Both. I’ve said it several times but even though I signed up fairly recently the site has been a part of my daily routine for years. I’ve seen the lofty heights from which it’s fallen, and this has rekindled my hope that it can regain that glory.

  94. MrTBSC August 28, 2012 at 9:45 pm -      #98

“well I posted something where he ripped open various dimensions to banish people, he may be able to rip open the three planes of existance and kill him in all three.”
yet he has to kill him in a planes at the exact same time one millisecond of diffrence turns to DS fully regenarating back..iirc

  95. GuardianAngel1911 August 28, 2012 at 10:38 pm -      #99

well Thor can move at around 10,000 times FTL (he was able to catch up to and pass Ego who was going at his max speed of 5,000 times FTL) so he should be able to hit them all in less than a millisecond.

  96. Darthgrim August 28, 2012 at 10:47 pm -      #100

Did you post the feat where Thor contains a blast that was going to destroy 1/5 of the universe yet?
