I know for a fact that he goes power mad with even the tiniest bit of authority. Matches would come in late. and all Ironman matches would, by default; be him winning.
I think he’d be a great admin though, but thats just my opinion.
I think Matapiojo and Hitman H94 are most suited to run Factpile. Chuck Inglish and Expert would probably be the worst.

Why Commander, because he’s devoted to FactPile very much and because he’s very active. The site would beunder contant monitoring under his reign…we’d get a lot of Haseo/CHB/Harry Potter/.hack matched though.
I wish we would get more Haseo/CHB/Harry/.Hack matches. If he got it out of his damn system I wouldn’t have to skip huge posts made by him because I can’t figure out how it’s relevant to the match.

Review marches before hand, just not post clear jokes/troll matches like bulldog vs death star, mc vs Q, the Taco bell fast food fight ect.

Me? I’d give it to Matapojo or Admin.
I have to wonder how smoothly things would run in any case. There’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff that I frankly have no idea about and I’m fairly certain I would crash Factpile several times just trying to figure out how stuff works. Also, I don’t know how autonomous the advertisement stuff is, but if that’s something I have to take an active part in I get the feeling I wouldn’t be great at it. And I’m not so sure I’m industrious enough to have a match every single day, as in sifting through the multitude of requests, finding pictures and creating the banners and all that.

Assuming all the stuff outside of that runs smoothly I like admin’s style of letting things run as they will. The only thing I might do differently would be to comment more in terms of matches, even though it’s probably easier not to, and perhaps more entertaining in the long run. Which leads to an interesting question, what if admin was just a regular ‘piler?
If I ran Factpile, I would definitely not put up certain matches I’ve received. Maybe make a list of them for the sake of ensuring no repeats.

I’ll definitely have more obscure match ups, which will reduce site traffic since only a handful would be interested in said match ups.

If, I were admin, I would turn factpile into a global force for good! With the same ships and equipment as the navy, just without the buttsects.
Just kidding, I’d probably leave the site to a force of dedicated lesser admins to run only stopping by for a weekly-monthly report. I almost never have the time to even log on anymore…….

I’d upgrade the server to something that’s not from the 1800′s for one thing. One that allows users to edit posts for fixing mistakes, posts comments without the “too short” message, and actually let’s you space your fucking sentences/paragraphs. Remember the days of spacing? I do, nostalgia all around.

As for the topic, I think anybody who’s dedicated enough to do everything the Admin does behind the scenes and smart enough to remain impartial should do just fine. I like the Admin’s policy of noninterference; the last thing any site needs is a moderator who’s just going to use his power impose the opinions of the majority and deem everyone else as trolls.

A lot in the combat but not enough in the tactics it seems. I forgot to mention no time travel, (why I didn’t put Dr. Who in) and the teams get one month to get to know each other (in a strategic sense, like the Zerg will get to absorb the DNA of some Jedi/Sith, the UNSC will basically just become an addition to the Imperial Guard, etc.). If that makes sense, anyway.
Replicators… you mean those things that are vulnerable to bullets? They still are, right? Don’t Warhammer and Halo use a lot of those?
……….Where do I start if I had the ability to run this site………….I would have to think of a clever banner(or is it called banter?) for the site. I should actually let people posts their match on this site, but limit to only ten, and if I see enough complaints about a match in that thread, I should delete or lock it. Sometimes, when I see something interesting, I’ll post it myself. I would set Mata as the site’s other Admin as well so their would be equal power. J, AkumaTH, Sorrow, and Envoy would also be set as mods(might put more people) so the site runs smoothly.

Step two, I would probably make the same rules as Admin did, though with the help of others, I would make it more detailed. Possibly, if I could, set a debating format in order for people to make their posts neat and nice, and allow them to correct their mistakes…….

If I were FP would probaly get user suggested matches and I’d try to settle disputes on site before they start to inflate threads. That said their are quite a few people who could run the site better then I ever could.

But that’s what all of (well, most of) these matches are. User-suggested. If Admin let people post their own matches, each one would get almost none of the attention that we see know. On almost every other type of forum that I’ve seen, matches are lucky to get into the hundreds of comments, let alone the thousands that we’ve seen here.

I honestly don’t think I’d have the time if I were an Admin. I also honestly am not sure I’d be able to handle everything all alone. That’s why I’d have several mods for different sections of Factpile. And I would have users that monitor those mods, to make sure they don’t abuse their power.

The Paypal thing would go. I would find a way to have a group of users be judges in determining a match, and it’s potential. And if the suggestion doesn’t make much sense, try and contact the user who suggested it for more clarification on what he wants in it, or fit the match to better battle specifics.
