Death seems to be like a ninja version of War.
I’m pretty sure it’s been stated numerous times in the no-game sources (the comic, novels, word of God) that Death can and has kicked War’s ass, and is the most powerful horseman.

Havent played the second game but what a.h.k said and posted kind of makes all of wars’ attacks useless

I’d like to point out that this match is pointless. Canonically, Death is superior in every way to War. One day, War got pissed off at Death, so he impaled him with his sword Chaoseater. Death in response sat there for a while, prolly called War sally. Then chopped the arm that was holding the sword off.

Next time research the Canon to make sure its not already established in lore that one being can and has trumped another.

Isn’t Death, unlike War, more of a concept? A few commercials and stuff seem to imply that he is the Grim Reaper.
Death, all the way. He is more agile and versatile than War and is just more powerful. He is awesome by the way.

Funny, because at first I thought this was about the Biblical Horsemen.
Keep in mind Death even has reaper form which he didn’t even come close to using on war
And this is why I don’t like fights between people from the same universe.

He has a large revolver that has unlimited ammo and fires at machine gun like rates as his standard equipment

And a pick up two handed gun that fires huge exploding spikes

Death in canon makes War look like a joke. However, War did get the Armageddon sword which powered him to the point where he killed the Destroyer. Really, it’s a toss-up now.
In general … I’d assume Death trumps, because, y’know, the whole Death-schtick.
On second thought…. I’ll go with Death because he’s superior to War canonically
Why not do Hades vs. Ares, while we’re at this whole thing?

Cuz that would be an even bigger stomp. Hades(Greek mythology) is one of the big three along with Zeus and Poseidon. Ares is Hades’ nephew.

I’ve never played either and so i don’t know much. Death is the result of all the Horsemen BUT if this a combat or a fight id bet my money on War since thats what war is (fighting and combat). Its what he is and specializes in.
