Killy Vs Genocyber

Killy Vs Genocyber

Suggested by Sauroposeidon

The man with the gravity gun faces off against an ultra-violent cyborg monster. One possessed of incredible speed and skill, and the other dripping with with incredible, raw power. The world is their play ground, as the Genocyber has already brought about the end of days and crushed the collective armed forces of every nation. Only Killy (Blame!) stands between the rampaging Genocyber and the complete and total extinction of humanity.

Victory conditions: Killy can achieve victory through bringing down the Genocyber through any means necessary. He can, if with in his ability, attempt to get the Genocyber’s human component back in control, either through knocking the monster out or contacting her somehow. If the Genocyber is to obtain victory, it must kill Killy.

There is no other way.

The only real abilities I got from Genocyber was that it’s first form was is a 7-foot (2.1 m) green creature with two horns protruding from its head. It also has angel-like wings that appear to glow when it flies.

    -

Apparently it’s second form is just a much larger version of it’s first, being taller than a skyscraper. Then it’s “full” or “final” form being a dragon-like creature

    -

Apparently, Genocyber was stated to be immortal and nigh-omnipotent, but you can take that with a grain of salt because I got it from a wiki, and am only using it because I have absolutely no clue who, or what, it is.

    -

I’m pretty sure Sauroposeidon is an expert on Killy, I’ll let him fill you in on the character. As he would do a much better job.

Actually, I have no idea why I assumed Sauro was an expert on Killy, forget that last part. (Unless of course, he is XD.
    )

Sweet! I always felt bad that poor Killy didn’t have a proper fight, and seemed to be in an intentional stomp match. Also helps that Genocyber is one of my favorite anti-heroines. I feel this fight leans in Killy’s favor but I don’t know how heavily.

Yeah it’s NOT immortal or nigh-omnipotent.. and I actually know a lot more about Genocyber as I haven’t actually read Killy’s manga yet. Genocyber’s abilities seem to be psionic based.

WARNING: That video has gore. It also has “nudity” in the credits in the same way Sailor Moon has nudity in every episode during her transformation scene, so, if either of these offend you (and the gore does not skirt around what it is like the nudity does at all) then do not watch these.

This video is the Genocyber’s “birth” followed by it’s first fight. After this she wipes out Hong Kong in a fit of rage. Primary points here are speed, durability, and property destruction feats.

God anime’s can get so insane sometimes >_>. This one is particular reminds me of Akira.

  5. Sauroposeidon August 9, 2012 at 8:58 am -      #5

It lacks the well done narrative of Akira and is a bit all over the place.. but the over all concepts they put out are interesting. That and the well animated “I wreck your day!” scenes are fun to watch.
    -
I should note that the Genocyber’s abilities appear to be psionic.

    Wow old match is old.
    -
sauro we aren’t using the molestinator version in the last episode correct.

  7. xZrP August 9, 2012 at 9:00 am -      #7

Anyway, given how it destroyed Hong Kong, in just one attack, how would Killy survive the onslaught? I recall his durability being generally human like, when he started, and increased as he “upgraded.”

    -

I’m not sure if Khilly can damage it, but, I’m not even considering his GBE at the highest setting (the lowest is already pretty absurd) and I’m not aware of any other durability feats for the Geno other than tanking an explosion that completely wiped Hong Kong off the face of the Earth

    -

Any more durability showings Sauro? Is there a point where it actually takes damage in the series? (The Geno, just in case you weren’t sure)

  8. Sauroposeidon August 9, 2012 at 9:03 am -      #8

We have almost no feats for that thing and it still turned back in to “normal” genocyber before they were…whatever it was that happened in the end. So no, we’re not using the big form.

  9. Sauroposeidon August 9, 2012 at 9:15 am -      #9

The final two episodes depict the Genocyber being damaged, but they don’t show what hurt it. It enters a state of hibernation or something eventually.

Now, their tech (the world’s that is) appears to be higher than ever before in these fight scenes, but clearly it’s no where near Genocyber’s fire power. This implies to me that its durability isn’t above anything like what modern nukes can put out, meaning Killy’s gun can in fact hurt it.

Hmm, how about speed, and reaction time? Killy is relativistic to lightspeed in terms of reaction speed, he’s a Class 100 (He brawls regularly with guys at the 300-400 ton mark) He has thousands of years experience, he can also regenerate (albeit VERY slowly, he lost something like 40-50% of his body mass and it took him something like 14 years to completely recover) I’m not aware of his travel speed, although at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if he could fly.

  11. Sauroposeidon August 9, 2012 at 10:09 am -      #11

I would say the Genocyber is fast, but not approaching Killy’s level. The Genocyber will engage in physical hand to hand combat occasionally but it’s not particularly impressive in terms of speed. One martial arts style beat down by Killy and the Genocyber will probably revert to trying to psyco-blast him.

    @xZrP
It wasn’t that slow considering he was encased in molten metal that became solid again…
But then again, his regeneration is nothing compared to someone like Wolverine’s..
It did take him a day or so to heal an arm that was cut off and put back in place with a brace.
And 40.82% of his body was lost to be exact.
    -
    -
Killy’s reaction time is up to debate. The lasers in the manga may not be lightspeed, or may not even be lasers at all. It wouldn’t make sense of Killy could move near lightspeed without increasing his mass significantly…

That place is a good respect thread with scans to prove it.
    -
    -
    -
To summarize that respect thread, Killy has:
-Super sight: See 3,000 kilometers away
-Super strength: I’d like to say way over 100 ton class, although this may be quite hard to prove
-Super speed: Can dodge lasers/blasts after they come out of a gun, or even block them with his gun shots
-Super reaction: Deflect/block lasers/blasts after they come out of the gun
-Super durability: Shot, dismembered, thrown/hit through metal walls, overcoming the enough poison to kill a human 7 times over that was made to transform humans into something else( Safeguard ), and surviving an explosion that flash melted metal.
-Super endurance: Climbing stairs for 3,000km vertically and stopping once for rest, surviving without food/water for a minimum of 800 hours (33 days), surviving for 14 years without air while regenerating his body mass…
    -
    -
I can find and post scans of the feats and possibly more later.

  13. Tarbel August 9, 2012 at 12:00 pm -      #13

Oh right completely forgot about his gun lol
    -
    Gravitational Beam Emitter
A gun so strong that it’s recoil can throw Killy back and even break or dislocate his arm when used multiple times in succession.
It has multiple settings it is unknown how far the beam travels, with a feat of 70 kilometers on its lowest setting (piercing through entire metal structure to reach its target).
Another feat is that the gun has pierced through
    -
According to the wikipedia, the gun operates through the use of shooting a highly condensed anti-gravity beam which push particles out of the way from its path, which would allow it to deflect other shots and cause explosions when shooting into walls and such (which happens frequently). It sounds very plausible but is probably only a theory. All we know for sure is that it has pierced through everything it has hit, and causes wider holes than normal as well as frequent explosions in the area it hits.

    -
    Also, Killy can’t fly.

This match is interesting. Educate me!

I like Blame, I read it like 3 times by now.
The reason his not my avatar is because Hank happened.
And it was the combo of Kefka, Killy and Hank that made me get register on this site.
It’s very hard to quantify Blame.
For the GBE speed, we have this Blame log.
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BZRiT5MG1w&feature=player_detailpage#t=192s
So yeah, it’s very fast, it’s so fast that we can’t actually tell if it’s light speed or not, so lets take it as almost light speed fast.
Zanakan’s GBE (I think I got her name wrong), I don’t know if it goes a fast as Killy’s but this could help us.
    manga.animea.net/blame–chapter-32-page-28.html
Zanakan and Killy both fire the GBE at the same time.
    manga.animea.net/blame–chapter-32-page-29.html
You can see they are similar do to the distance they traveled so far.
    manga.animea.net/blame–chapter-33-page-2.html
They must have shot them almost exactly at the same time.
    manga.animea.net/blame–chapter-33-page-3.html
    But Zanakan gets hit.
    manga.animea.net/blame–chapter-33-page-4.html
Either Zanakan missed or those movement lines on Killy mean that he side stepped the shot.
    -
So, we know it’s fast, so we can assume Killy is very fast if he dodge it (I barely found this ones, I won’t look over the whole manga for it).
