Both companies arrive from Marvel. Oscorp is found in the Spider-Man franchise, While Stark Industries is in the Iron Man story lines.
For this match, the questions are –
Who makes the deadlier weapons?
Which company has the bigger impact in it’s respective world?
Which company would you want to work at?

Stark for all three.
-
1. Nearly all of S.H.I.E.L.D’s weaponry is Stark tech. Also:
Lightweight Mortars – Tony Stark provided lightweight mortars to the US Army in Tales of Suspense #39 for use in Vietnam. They look suspiciously like M-79 Grenade Launchers.
Jet-Powered Roller Skates – Collapsible skates that can be clamped to the sole of a boot with an ordinary skate key and are driven by miniature transistorized motors. They were developed for use by the US Military. It was envisioned that an entire infantry division equipped with these could transport itself along the highway at up to 60 mph without the use of trucks. Demonstrated to the US Army in Tales of Suspense #40.
Atomic Naval Cannons – Designed to fire a nuclear salvo more than 500 miles, revolutionizing battleship firepower. (Mentioned in Tales of Suspense #41)
Flesh-Healing Serum – Serum that closes any open wound in two seconds with synthetic liquid tissue. (Mentioned in Tales of Suspense #41)
Radiation Resistant alloy – Material capable of resisting radiation for use in space capsules. (Mentioned in Tales of Suspense #41)
Burp Guns – .50 Caliber sub-machine guns capable of firing explosive cartridges at rates of up to 1,000 spm. (Mentioned in Tales of Suspense #41)
Disintegrator Ray – Flashlight-sized device capable of projecting a ray that could instantaneously vaporize a two-foot thick section of reinforced concrete wall. Prototype demonstrated to the US Army in Tales of Suspense #42.
Y-69 Rocket – An experimental three-man rocket first tested in Tales of Suspense #46.
Anti-Gravity Ray – Experimental device capable of negating the effects of gravity around whatever its beam hit. Was powerful enough to lift an entire factory off of its foundation! Demonstrated to the Department of Defense, then stolen by the Black Widow in Tales of Suspense #53. The only working model was destroyed by Iron Man.
Observer Missiles – Remotely controlled missiles equipped with surveillance equipment. Used by the US Military to take pictures behind enemy lines in Vietnam in Tales of Suspense #54.
Uranus II Rocket – seen in Tales of Suspense #60.
Moon Missile – Prototype rocket seen in Tales of Suspense #63.
Mangler Missile – Anti-Missile missile attaches itself to an enemy missile, taking control of it. First tested in Tales of Suspense #65.
Mini-Submarine – A one-man scout sub that can out run and out flank almost any torpedo. First tested by Iron Man in Tales of Suspense #66. Destroyed during battle between Iron Man and Attuma.
Jupiter Landing Vehicle – code named JLV for use on the surface and gravity of the planet Jupiter. Debuted in Iron Man 116.
Repulsor car – a car created using only repulsor tech, totally eco-friendly. First appeared in The Invincible Iron Man #30.

2. Stark Industries has definitely had the bigger impact. They have branches in 30 countries and on 7 continents, most of the worlds weaponry comes from them, they created a lot of clean energy tech, and many subsidiaries that cover a wide range of goods and services, and gives a lot to charities. Oscorp is mainly a chemical company.

3. I would much rather work for an alcoholic super genius who obeys the law (for the most part), and who’s company is immensely profitable, than an insane megalomaniac who often uses his company to help in his dastardly schemes, thus endangering my life and the lives of millions of others.
Stark, no matter how many times it ends up getting fucked up, taken over, or tony making a new one to replace the last one.
People tend to attack him through his company.

That point aside pretty much everyone uses stark tech, rips of stark tech, or tries to be stark tech.
Stark Tech for all three. At least at stark Tech there’s a chance you may end up becoming friends with Tony and end up with an armor of your own, slim but chance nonetheless
industries*
Yeah i’m going with Stark industries on this one
Stark, I don’t want to become a test subject for an insane boss.
And, by the way, I have a shitty day, my result of my country’s (somewhat) version of SAT is suck, well, not suck but not as good as I expected, and I’m really depressed now. Do anybody have any thing that can cheer me up?
Stark, everyone else’s post sums it up perfectly.
Go, Stark!
I think this would have been better if you used Lexcorp or Wayne Enterprises, whilst being DC they much more on par with starks companies, than oscorp.
@khazit
Know that the world is not over. Study and retake it
@the match
Is it sad when fact pile has company stomp matches? O.o
Even then, those two companies still pail in comparison to Stark Industries. The place you can really find Wayne tech is in Gotham or if someone stole it. Lexcorp is a bit fairer comparison, I mean, Lex was able to become President for god’s sake, so it kinda speaks for him and his company’s standing in the world.
It’s funny because they are both in the same world..
@PP: nah, at least, I still make it good enough to get into some nice, good university, but not the medicine school, it’s kinda ruin my dream, at least I still get a fairy good point, and only 1 out of 5 people take that stupid exam pass the lowest required score to get into any college/university.
@khazit
It’s all good. I was pre med, economy turned south, but I’m still in the medical field, if not as a physician. Don’t give up and you’ll do fine
Oscorp doesn’t really make weapons, they more or less turn humans into them.
For example the Spider-Slayer(s)

-And the Goblin Formulas, Which if you use it enough turns you into this.

And I read somewhere that they were behind one of the Symbiotes.
So it’s gonna be Iron Patriot vs Iron Man
-.-
Im gonna go with Stark enterprises. Everything that comes from Tony stark is revolutionary in its respected field.
But then again, hasn’t SI stop making weapons all together? Oscorp might take number one. But otherwise they win. Stark made iron man for frick’s sake.
But I guess back in the day when SI still made weapons, they’d still kick oscorps ass any day!
Also, yah duh. I’d work for stark industries, not for a company owned by a lunatic who wears a green mask.
IMO this match would have been much more interesting if Oscorp was replaced with Wayne Enterprises.

As for my choice its Stark Industries all the way.
Hey admin do we have a Iron Patriot vs Iron Man?
No we don’t
-
You can suggest it if you like though
@Pro
the Iron Patriot armor has far weaker repulsors due to the star shape. Plus no PIS Ironman hacks IP and makes him shove his head up his own ass. It’s not a fight and Osborn sure as fuck ain’t going to be able to keep current IronMan from hacking his own technology.
Lex is still the smartest out of all of them though( including doom and mr fantastic)
Lex being the smartest is waaaay debatable. He’s a good plotter but his main enemy is so powerful he’s scared of attacking Lex directly cause Supes could flick him in the face and splatter his brains on the ground. It doesn’t take much to stay ahead when your nemesis is scared of attacking you.
also I read up, Osborn cobbled Iron Patriot together from scraps and had little to no idea what the hell he was doing. Or that’s basically what the Marvel wiki says, it has citations though.
Lex said he could cure cancer bro.. If he wasn’t trying to kill superman his mind could fix many things in the world
and Cell said he could blow up a universe. And half of Batman’s villain’s said that Batman caused their insanity. You see where this is going. They can say whatever the fuck they want doesn’t mean their serious.
oh and if Luthor could have cured cancer why didn’t he hop on it when he got cancer from all the kryptonite he kept around?
“and Cell said he could blow up a universe. And half of Batman’s villain’s said that Batman caused their insanity. You see where this is going. They can say whatever the fuck they want doesn’t mean their serious.”
===
Yeah you got a point there, on a another note allstar superman cured cancer though
he also made himself god like the gold Superman Prime One Million who made Lois his silver equivalent and brought his millenia dead planet back including his fucking parents his Kryptonian parents.
Iirc Iron patroit v Ironman already happened iniSege. Tony had just come out of a coma, using old armor, and shut him down.
===
I have serious doubts about Lex being smarter then Reed. Maybe as a plotter. Pure intelligence I think goes to Reed, his idea of a vault is a miniature universe.
“he also made himself god like the gold Superman Prime One Million who made Lois his silver equivalent and brought his millenia dead planet back including his fucking parents his Kryptonian parents.”
====
That does it, it’s official., SUPERMAN IS DECLARED THE SMARTEST IN FICTION
Chuck’s stamp of approval
Wayne Enterprises vs Stark Industries are better than this
I’m feeling that the main point of this match is being ignored, it has essentially been norman osbourn vs tony stark, whilst that is a part of this match, it isn’t it in it’s entirety, when judging this two companies we should be looking at every version portrayed, from the numerous film sources, and the comics themselves.
We should be looking at the publics perception of the companies within their own universes, the products said companies produce, profitability, and how well this companies are run.
Since I believe Tony Starks companies are generally superior, however has lost control of number of them, I think he is on his third or fourth, so for the reasons above I would have believed using Lexcorp or Wayne Enterprises, might have been a better match.
perhaps if we really wanted a comedic factor we should have pitted stark against Umbrella, since before the eventual collapse they where a highly profitable company with a very good public image.
Knowing what do umbrella do with their employees will ensure that no one will work for them. LoL
Stark, Stark, and Stark.
@Harbinger
Actually, Tony Stark is no longer an alcoholic
Stark.
How is this a contest?
-
Stark Industries. Stark Industries. Stark Industries.
-
Oscorp Industries can’t hold a candle to Stark Industries in any of the categories.
