    He still called us sheep, though…

  4. Negative Zero July 7, 2012 at 2:16 pm -      #4

    At least now we might find out if he actually looks anything like his Xbox Avatar.

  5. TheSorrow July 7, 2012 at 2:17 pm -      #5

    These days I equate Expert’s words to someone in their mid-50s proclaiming how awesome they were in the 70s. (hint: it means he is outdated).

    One step at a time.

    “One step at a time.”
    -
    You are absolutely correct. Baby steps, Aelfinn, baby steps.
    -
    Well, here’s hoping he really gets Factpile out there. But not too much so that we don’t have a sudden influx of fanboys.

    On the contrary, do you know how beneficial fanboys can be during the dry times? That’s when you can really see some of the debaters unite together.

  9. SgCombine July 7, 2012 at 5:39 pm -      #9

    Expert made that poster all by himself? What impressive photoshoping skills he has.

  10. Megaraptor18 July 7, 2012 at 6:48 pm -      #10

    Well its about damn time. I want Expert to be successful in this. Please don’t screw the pooch. With that said good luck.

  11. Hitman H94 July 7, 2012 at 6:53 pm -      #11

    I am totally with Mega on this, godspeed Expert.

    Also I am going to ComicCon in Manchester this year! First time going, hoping it will be good!

  12. Commander Cross July 7, 2012 at 6:56 pm -      #12

    Good luck, Expert.

  13. itisburgers July 7, 2012 at 7:42 pm -      #13

    Can SGCombine’s Post be the standard Response to Expert Posts, regardless of the amount of Photoshopping involved.

  14. Envoy July 7, 2012 at 8:07 pm -      #14

    I’m still wondering what Factpile swag is…

  15. the_man_with The_Answers July 7, 2012 at 8:50 pm -      #15

    Time for a slippery-slope:
    Maybe if Expert goes to ComicCon and starts spreading “Factpile Swag” around, it could draw a large number of people to the site. With more and more people coming, Factpile gets spread further and faster. Eventually Factpile will be famous (or infamous) enough to start appearing as references on Television. From there, we gain enough publicity to start selling Factpile-Brand T-shirts, bags, and other things that would be sold by something that doesn’t primarily sell things. Now that Factpile is a large enough icon in the “geek culture realm” it will get its own booth at Comicon and other related expos. In a short time after that, a TV corporation will be interested in creating a show that puts the Quality or well-known Factpile Battles onto TV, having experts from this very site appear to argue their case, recreate/test various variables, and finish it off with a digitally created battle that shows who the winner is (Like Deadliest Warrior, except with more science and debate).

    So there we go, Expert is on a quest to bring Factpile to network television.

  16. Expert July 7, 2012 at 8:51 pm -      #16

    Hello my Pilers. I read over a few of the comments. I will be pumping out Factpile Swag all over that mother spreading the good word to lead more to my flock… Also I do look exactly like my Avatar though I made it several years ago so I have actually shaved off any facial hair and I also cut my hair a bit shorter now… Maybe I’ll reveal myself soon… I also know Photoshop like the back of my hand but try not to spend much time on stuff like this.. I went to Comic Con last year as well but just one day. This year I will be there every single day.. unless I am beat come sunday.. I might not go sunday… Anyways thanks for the good comments and look to Factpile later this week to be able to live vicariously through me.

    Winner: Maybe just maybe Factpile.. Nope.. Still ME

  17. TheSorrow July 7, 2012 at 8:53 pm -      #17

    @Answers
    Getting a little ahead of ourselves don’t you think?

  18. the_man_with The_Answers July 7, 2012 at 9:02 pm -      #18

    @Sorrow
    Naw…..
    It’s actually quite obvious, granted that you don’t think about it. I could have furthered the plot…I mean easily predicted future, by tacking on a world domination scheme (Which would not be out of character for Expert), but I was content with a network television show, for now at least.

    And then you woke up.

  20. Deus Ex Machina July 8, 2012 at 5:30 am -      #20

    I didn’t even know Expert still existed…
    .
    Ah well, best of luck!
    .
    And fanboys are great to have on site, everyone but them gets a good laugh!

  21. Darthgrim July 8, 2012 at 6:12 am -      #21

    I’m interested in what exactly “Factpile Swag” is.

  22. orber July 8, 2012 at 7:12 am -      #22

    Maybe the swag are some basic goodies?Ah well, comic con is always a nice thing to be at.I hope you enjoy yourself over there Expert, but don’t forgot to turn off your swag once you go to bed, lest thou shall be covered with damsels the next morning.

  23. itisburgers July 8, 2012 at 1:03 pm -      #23

    Clearly Factpile Swag is Whatever Expert uses to wipe up the mass jizzfests he exudes with every post, hence the term Swag.

  24. Dr.Twinky July 8, 2012 at 4:01 pm -      #24

    Expert reminds me of Donald Trump.

  25. PrimusxPilus July 8, 2012 at 6:29 pm -      #25

    I hope we get big enough to be referenced on big bang theory lol

  26. Commander Cross July 8, 2012 at 6:44 pm -      #26

    @Primus

    If we do, let’s just hope that its the Cartoon Network Civil War that gets 1st opening mentions, alright?
    Seriously, that War had more Badassery in its pinky nail alone than the IoM vs the Galactic Empire would ever have in its entire body, too bad about the way the thread ended, though.

  27. Dr. Doctor July 9, 2012 at 12:28 am -      #27

    Never posted on one of Expert’s posts. Anyway, have fun at Comic Con.

    Love this quote. I heard it somewhere else a few years ago. Sometimes I forget to turn my swag off, then I wake up in the morning covered in bitches. Love it haha

  29. Commander Cross July 9, 2012 at 3:22 am -      #29

    @Dr. Doctor

    1st time for everything, ain’t that right, Doc? :cool:

  30. Jwlynas July 9, 2012 at 8:36 am -      #30

    Good Luck Expert. Spread our good name throughout the con. Try to get at least one geek-icon endorsement, hmm?

  31. Hermit July 9, 2012 at 9:04 am -      #31

    I had this sudden image of an *cough* anime that I watched once.

  32. PrimusxPilus July 9, 2012 at 12:33 pm -      #32

    @cc
    Don’t know they had that. Was it a show or debate? Either way meh

  33. Commander Cross July 9, 2012 at 1:41 pm -      #33

    @Primus

    It was actually a debate, pretty much.
    Although a lot of the content in the thing could make for a badass video game!

  34. I-REAPER-I July 9, 2012 at 2:04 pm -      #34

    Make a FactPile T-shirt. Get the name out there. On another note, would a slogan for the site be cool? I think so.
