Don’t know much about either, but because of mike then Imma go with Rahl.
-
First?
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the show, but isn’t Richard Rahl’s sword magical by default?
Initial bets are on Kuro until further notice of honest means may sway me otherwise.
It’s anyone’s game right about now.
I vote for the guy with the sword.
@Zol
You’re right, guy with sword wins for being more badass than guy with sword.
Who da fuck?
@Admiral Envoy
A Badass is fighting Rahl.
Is it over? Not even sure why I’m here, since I know NOTHING about these two. Bored, I guess. Anyways, still supporting the guy with the sword.
I’ll side with sol I pick the guy with the sword
*zol
Never heard of this Kuro guy. Rahl however I’ve read of far too much…
well, it would take quite a bit to match Richard in a sword’s fight but I’ll wait to see what info is brought up about Kuro before posting anything about Richard since i think this is Kuro’s first appearance.
Thanks admin

When I get home I’ll post scans ATM I’m on my iPod
www.mangareader.net/1237/kurozuka.html
This is a link to the manga for any whos interested
Aside from me not knowing Kuro, does the knowledge of the previous seekers, given through the sword of truth, exist in this fight? (since thats some kind of magic too…)
-
You could say Richard has internalized that knowledge already, since he doesn’t need the Swort of Truth to know how to handle a sword (anymore? – found no effective clue what sword-skill he had before he became the seeker… didn’t he use a knife instead?)
-
if the knowledge doesn’t apply… well Manga-Style-Sword-Fighting-Main-Characters tend to be quite badass..
all right ill begin posting scans as i go through the manga.
ill say it now these scans contain mature content read at your own discretion.

@
I don’t know Kuro from a hole in the ground.
-
But since I don’t think Richard has the magic from his sword over in the sword fight in “Rand al’Thor Vs Richard Rahl”, I clearly missed what part of the powers it gives him would make you think this was anything but a spite mach, at least when there all he has (does he even have that in this fight?).
-
Unless all those feats for Kuro are done with magic?
-
But…. If even if it is…. What would be left to debate with on Kuro’s side?
“@”
@fallstar thief
“Unless all those feats for Kuro are done with magic?”
closest thing to magic kuro has is the phycic powers hell get once he ages a few hundred more years
-
to be truthful i had forgotten most of his feats
So no support for Rahl?
Guess not
Is this a stomp in favor of the guy with the sword? I know I made the joke already, but that’s the only secure standpoint I can take in this one.
Woo! Go sword guy!
@fallstar thief
“So no support for Rahl?”
-
Even ignoring the OP saying they don’t have “any” magic, Richard has no chance against what looks like a bullet-timer with just the powers he gets from his sword.
-
I not really sure he does even with his full power, but at least Mike would be.
“Woo! Go sword guy!”
-
Yay sword guy wins!
-
Btw, I found a good Megatron incarnation to fight the GST
“Btw, I found a good Megatron incarnation to fight the GST”
-
Don’t think any version of Megatron could win against the Global Standard Tax…
I meant Great Sacred Treasure :pek
Good choice there, seems to be on par. But me being a fanboy, I can’t help but feel that it still won’t be much of a fight.
On topic, the sword guy solos. Then gets replaced by Soul Edge.~ XD
“On topic, the sword guy solos. Then gets replaced by Soul Edge.~ XD”
kurou could take anyone from soul ccalibur
-
soul edge < excalibur (fate/stay night)
@NKB
So how come you brought us an epic fight, sir?
wonder were mike is
@NKB
Probably sleeping in a cave?
It won’t bring AHEM back*, but it may mean some kind of change for the site going on.
Also, a month from now, do I have your support in trying to get Yukari Sendo(from Rosario + Vampire) a match with 3 other people as allies?*
1.) (Only a decent introduction for Murtagh will do that!)
2.) (the 3 others in question also have intelligence as their forte!)
This one kinda died, didn’t it?
Yea I already expected mike to argue for rahl. Should have choose a more popular charachter to fight kurou
@NKB
Maybe Murtagh, perhaps?
At least in a Swordfight?
It’d at least bring AHEM back!
so apparently kurou stomps with 0% effort
Welp, Kuro ftw then
I’m telling you guys, you have to make something that’s obviously a stomp, but to a blind fanboy like Mike, looks like a good match. Something like Superman vs SoT.
Lina Inverse vs SoT
well, i guess it all depends on what you consider “no magic”, since any supernatural power can be called magic in interpretation to someone else. i’m guessing kuro gets all of his vampiric powers and richard gets no magic at all? now does that include what the sword does for him since the sword is in the fight? or even how he has just used magic(either from his sword or his gift) to amplify his physical self? or were you fallstarthief just referring to outward magical effects like shields and offensive spells?
-
-if it’s only not allowing shields/offensive spells, richard has shown low bullet timing feats, strength enough to rip through a man.
-
-
-then on the other hand, kuros seems to be written as unkillable by any conventional means. is there even a way to kill him that way? his body doesn’t seem to be any more durable than a regular human, lots of those scans don’t really show anything quantifiable, but he is able to take multiple things impaling him and be perfectly fine.
-at least richard always goes for the killing shot or debilitating shot that would normally kill, such as limbs or head cut off to splitting the body in half in any direction(his sword cuts anything…anything that isn’t protected by magic that is the antithesis to creation, is the afterlife, is nothingness…ect..). don’t know how much that will help him in this match, but it’s a start(if said “magic” is allowed).
“since any supernatural power can be called magic in interpretation to someone else. i’m guessing kuro gets all of his vampiric powers ”
the vampiric boots to stats are a natural part of him now.
-
” now does that include what the sword does for him since the sword is in the fight?”
would the swords magic but not his gift be acceptible
-
“then on the other hand, kuros seems to be written as unkillable by any conventional means. is there even a way to kill him that way”
destroy the head should work cutting it off will render him alive but unable to fight.
-
Richard Rahl doesn’t have to have the Sword of Truth to be the Seeker. The Sword gives him unbelievable rage that allows him to totally rip apart some bad guys
Not to mention the fact that he’d been tortured by the Mord-Sith, and tortured so bad he was forced to bow down to the man who raped his mother, tried to kill him hundreds of times and his Father!!
Richard Rahl can sense danger coming from a mile away, and can like, slow time down so he came catch arrows flieing through the air. He even sent at least half a dozen arrows, into the bulleyes, each one cutting into eachother, while his wife was feeling his crotch!
And Richard Rahl is a powerful wizard but magic ain’t allowed. But isn’t vampicir immortal life magic? So if magic ain’t allowed then wouldn’t allow the years catch up with the little japenese vampire and he’d like, turn to duts?
@The Knower: Posting drunk is for losers. There’s always one around – don’t be that guy!
Richard doesn’t need the magic in his sword to slice down his enemies as it was shown in the blood of the fold he could take on many mriswith that have three bladed knives with only a hunting knife of his own. Its clear, to me, that Richard would win this fight.
@Huey34
-
…..I’m sorry, the job of “SoT troll” has already been filled at this site(for quite a long time even), but I’m sure if you keep looking you’ll find somewhere that still badly needs one.
-
Might I suggest SD? I never go there myself.
@shogun
lmao, you know this new guy comes in and makes a point, and even though uninformed(as most new comers are, not their fault), your first comment to him is to troll him and call him a troll. lmao.
