Although its been awhile since I played RE4, wasn’t Leon the president’s bodyguard???
If he was, I guess that helps. I sense an FP award coming (in a couple of days, don’t want to rush it)
both use 9mm handguns as standard handguns, or at least thats the first you git in RE4. if we get into rifles Leon has to buy one so that gets tricky. So lets assume lowest common denominator, both have 9mm hand guns.
now lets look at training. Leon was a Police Officer for a day (still had to go through the academy) and a secret service agent.
Drake is a trained thief and treasure hunter with basic hand to hand and gun training.
now experiences
Leon has faced several zombie outbreaks, armies of parasite zombies out to take over the world, some with guns turrets etc and smarter and faster than the average zombie.
Leon is going to be in RE6 so will be getting more feats in November.
Drake, guys in suits that were trained, modern pirates, zombie things, mercenaries, ancient warriors that ate sap from the tree of life, and then guys in suits that were trained again and he kept drinking the spiked water.
so armies of zombies humanoid beasts and monsters were fought by Leon
humans, better trained humans, highly trained humans and various cursed humans for Drake.
I am going to assume what ever their standard loadout or weapons are.
For right now lets assume they each have 9mm handguns. And Leon his knife, considering he always has one on him. I think this is very close. Nate’s agility will be very useful given the map they are fighting in. Also abandoned towns/villages are right up his alley.
then that’ll be 9mm handguns since you almost always start a new mission for Drake with one and thats the most basic gun that Leon gets and from the start of the game.

on the abandoned towns villages and such, Leon’s not a stranger to it really either. The first section of RE4 is basically one. Drake is agile yes but Leon isn’t a slouch, and then there’s his infamous knife throwing feat. then he dodged one too I believe. And there’s his knife fight with Krauser.

It looks like Nathan Drake is going up against people with better experience and training than him.
I say Leon wins and I say Ezio is better than Leon.
Leon might have better training, but that he might not have as much experience fighting a human.
He fights inhuman far stronger than regular humans.
Anyone care to post some feats of Mr. Drake here? We all know that Leon has a superb agility and is a very skilled combatant, being known as “one of the best agents in the world” or something like that by RE4.

Also as I posted in the Drake vs. Auditore match, Nathan has been able to take on an oppenent wielding a knife while he himself was unarmed.

That’s not really a great feat, unarmed fighting against a guy with a knife is all about not getting hit.

To be honest I can knife this two all this bastards.
But the point is, Leon can dodge two Gigantes wish are like a large brick wall charging at you (despite how bad the guy playing is) I know he used big and automatic guns but all he really needs to fight them is a handgun and a knife, and he really doesn’t need to throw one of the last ones to the lava, he can keep dodging gun them down and climb up and knife two Gigantes for the record.
I suppose you understand what this Gigantes as I shown are capable of, right?
Not your average Juggernaut, and taking them out with a handgun and a knife is something.
But probably I don’t see Drake wining because Leon is very experienced in knife combat and with guns too.

drake has more endurance,durrability and pain tolerance through:sucked out of an airplane,walking threw the desert for three days(uncharted 3),falling off a four story building with out much damage,shot in the stomach and climbing up a fallen train in the Himalayan mountains(uncharted 2)
I don’t really see anything in your posts that put Drake on an even playing field as Leon, Epic. Aside from endurance, the rest seemed to be pretty much what Leon’s done but against tougher enemies like Krauser, who looks to be able to tear that bald guy apart.

Drake’s a pretty good fighter but he doesn’t seem to be on Leon’s level in anything other than agility and endurance.
And here comes the Drake desert and snow durability feats that wont help him when he gets a bullet to the brain.

While Drake is pretty sneaky, I am dubious he would get the drop on Kennedy. Hang on about to go get an accuarcy feat for Drake.
Drake has 3X the durability of Leon, what makes Leon brake is what makes Drake laugh you know.
But why does people bring those feats out?
Like I said before, Drake and Leon wont be their durability in a desert or snow field, this is not a “who is a better survivor” or “who is a better outdoors-man”.
LOL, I said it on the Ezio fight too, it’s not like Leon is going to breath fire or a freezing wind at him lol.
Pain tolerance helps in a bar brawl where both will be fighting it out, but here we have a fight to the death, so pain tolerance, durability and stamina wont help any of them if they get their neck sliced or a bullet to the brain.

Ghost Town has quite a bit of places to hide, if one of these fighters take a bullet to the shoulder… or an arrow to the knee, who is going to keep fighting, who can score the final kill? This match is alot closer than your giving credit. And on the statement where Drake fought Talbot, he did avoid some slashes, but for the most part he was pretty aggressive during the fight.

He might not have truly won that fight but he did give out a fight and Krauser is superhuman, you can see him jump very high at the end, like a spartan.
TMP for Leon and an AK for Leon, seems a wee bit unfair to give Drake a rifle and Leon a sub machine gun
The only way I see Drake have enough pain tolerance to outlast all of Leon’s 9mm clips is this guy tolerance. Skip to 2:00 or you can watch it from the start.

unless you give them generic rifles then the closest thing to even is the Chicago Typewriter, which isn’t so much uber powerful as it is high damage due to being a 45 caliber weapon. and in game infinite ammo.

I think it’s fair, Arm Micro has 25 bullets in a clip and 125 extra, while the TMP (non stock) has 30 bullets in a clip as standard not upgraded and 100 bullets extra as seen the SMG ammo box holds on Leon’s inventory.
Drake has 5 extra clips to reload and Leon only has 3 plus one with 10 bullets, not fair so we have to give Leon a full clip.

I validated my reasons for mentioning Drake’s endurence. Degeneration was such a cool movie. We might try that.
I’m not sure if the Arm Micro is the best choice considering it would give Drake two side arm guns. I think the Kal 7 or something else would be better.
What I know is that Leon uses a wide verity of weapons throughout the series.
Resident Evil 2
In the earlier games, weapons and ammunition are in short supply, this is to create a more intense survivalist experience throughout the game. However, Leon still comes across a wide range of weapons including:
■Desert Eagle
A powerful handgun found in the game, however, ammo is always in short supply. In the novelization of the game written by S.D. Perry, it is revealed this gun is given as a present to Leon by his Father, who was also a police officer.
■Combat Knife
Standard weapon Leon begins the game with. Deals low damage, only used as a last resort.
■Heckler & Koch VP70
Leon’s starting Weapon. Capable of killing zombies with several shots, although, not very effective against more powerful enemies such as the Licker.
■Remington M870
Found in the game, very powerful and is able to be upgraded.
■Flamethrower

Im going with Drake, he has some experience with the undead.
Drake only fought the undead for a brief time compared to Leon.

LOL, Negative Zero has a point, nobody would accomplished anything in their life if they had Ashley with them.
Also explains why Leon rejected her at the end of the game.
LOL, Drake would rather be left alone in the desert just to get away from Ashley, because if their is something worse than the current situation, that would be having an irritating sound shredding your ear drums every 10 seconds, BIG endurance feat right there.
And I know wish is Bear Grylls favorite game, Uncharted, his only disappointing is that he can’t drink his own piss now and then.

that is an extremely good point. When I unlocked her alt costume the suit of armor I was so happy cause I could just forget about her completely. the chick was useless, even moreso when you had to play as her. You’d think the merchant would find her and give her a gun

What superhuman feats has he shown in the game? Krauser has superstrength enough to tear a beam out of the ground and hurl it like a javelin while moving in quick bursts of speeds. He was also Leon’s equal if not superior in skill, especially in knife fighting.

But Lazarevic really isn’t that impressive compared to Krauser. Krauser is alot faster than Lazarvic is. When suggesting this match I forgot Degeneration was canon. Honestly some of Leon’s feats in that movie alone could put him above Drake. This is what it looks like ot me:

Accuarcy: 2-1
Endurance: 3-2

I would go on but you get the picture. Leon outclasses Nathan in pretty much every combat related aspect. Freaking Degeneration ruining Leon x Claire.

Damn I made a good story involving around those characters but internet screwed up and I couldn’t post it, I was gonna share it with you all and it was a master piece (In my opinion by the way, and it was pretty long too, also freaking funny), but it was so long that I just can’t find it in me to do it again. All my creativity juice went down the drain right there, ALL OF IT.
Also, yeah Drake has far more endurance than Leon.

I would say maybe Leon wins seven out of ten. The three Drake wins most likely come from the enviroment or him outlasting Kennedy.
