Stomp match all the way. Because I absolutely despise the Ewoks, here the three friggin beasties displayed in the picture are going to try to last more than 2 seconds against Master Chief.
Yup, Expert – tell me how your sh!tstain Ewoks win this fight.
Point of reference – at about :15 seconds in this clip.

…….. You stay classy FactPile.
Lol
No comment…
Admin hates Ewoks alot doesn’t he.
Okay one comment, that is one creepy ewok image
I think its rather plausible that the Ewoks win this fight. I mean, two seconds is a rather short amount of time to aquire the targets, raise and aim the rifle, and fire three rounds at each Ewok. Ewoks for the FP Award.
^lol spite backfire
Also look at the tiny barrel on Chief’s assault rifle. If he’s fighting with a pellet gun the Ewoks could split up and escape.
Also seeing how shitty Halo weaponry generally is, I am sure the Ewoks can make their fair shair of traps after a while and snare MC and throw rocks to him…
-
There are alot of Ewoks and only 1 MC with standard gear.
-
Unless the battlefield is completely and utterly boring and doesn’t allow for traps and such, but even then they will just prod MC to death with their sticks.
-
Sorry Admin, but your greenboy is going to loose once again :3
You guys have it all wrong. The Chief has this in about 3-4 seconds. But not in under 2. MC will have aquired those Ewoks before you could even think “why” in “why the hell did I just spawn in some random forest. … Oh, Ewoks!” The Chief will then proceed to raise his rifle and put three rounds at each teddy bear before you can think “oh shit, I’m supposed to kill these three for some reason.” But that would take 3-4 seconds. Not 2. Sorry Admin.
No, admin is right
-
I hate ewoks just as much.
@Eric didn’t we calc him to have a 4 millisecond reaction time in armor? That makes him 50 times faster than an average person, I think he could do it.
Reaction time ≠ actual movement. Sure, he will realize where the Ewoks are and begin to move, but to accurately fire at one, and move on to the next, accurately fire on it, then move on to the last one, and accurately fire on it would be difficult to do in under two seconds. And the Chief has always fired in short bursts, so that will require more time.
These three are actually named Ewoks, the most important of which is Logray, I believe, who is the striped one. He’s a force sensitive Ewok shaman who has quite a few tricks up his sleeve.
-
starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Logray
The other two, for the record, appear to be Chief Chirpa, and Wicket.
LOL
Guessing MC has his standard loadout which is his BR, shotgun and 2 frags I think.
If one of the Ewoks can use the force then that ewok would be main priority but before that ewok would think it will be a BR round to his face.
spite match maybe, but i call this one legal considering the target
“He’s a force sensitive Ewok shaman who has quite a few tricks up his sleeve.”
-
Indeed, it seems he does. Does anyone have any material on what he can do? The standard match rules allows for him to know that something is going down….. but unless he pulls a shield out of his ass – I really don’t see him helping a lot.
He has the sunstar, which is at least powerful enough to destroy a shuttle (and palpatine), as that was what a backstabbing imperial tried to use it for when he got ahold of it. Wicket caused him to miss, however. Logray also has the staff of power, which various uses, including that as a weapon. Chirpa has stones which I think project images, which could be used to fool Master Chief maybe, although he’s never used them for combat purposes. I don’t know much about them. I think Master Chief -might- be out of his league here, unless they all begin out in the open or something. Wicket also has some limited force abilities but I don’t know to what extent. Virtually everything on Endor is either huge and monsterous, or practically yoda levels of strong in the force, or both. The Ewoks are tough little bastards to survive in those conditions. I think they have a good shot at this.
Again spite backfire. The Ewoks actually have a chanceto survive..damn thats impressive
Well…. a big thing to nail down is where are they fighting? It states a neutral battleground, but what does that entail for these combatants?
-
MC has proven to be very flexible in terms of environments he is able to fight in effectively while the Ewoks are naturally inclined to wooded areas. What would be ‘neutral’ for them?
If both are at home in the forest then I would think a forest would be neutral for them.
Even admin himself posted a stomp match. Has it gotten THAT shitty?
yabbuyabbu.
Or something like that.
“If both are at home in the forest then I would think a forest would be neutral for them.”
well he IS green after all.
I think that with out any real argument for Master Chief on how he’s going to defeat one of the most clever ewoks, one of the best leaders in ewok history, and a powerful force user all at the same team then it’s time to wrap this up. I nominate Ewoks for the Fact Pile Award.
“…….. You stay classy FactPile.”
-
My thoughts exactly….
-
“Also seeing how shitty Halo weaponry generally is, I am sure the Ewoks can make their fair shair of traps after a while and snare MC and throw rocks to him…

-
Did you read the OP?
-
I second Sauro’s nomination
I would think a neutral area would be ‘a’ forest, but not one that the ewoks are already familiar with.
So… they hide around and throw rocks and big logs at masterchief, or split up and let him starve to death (just assuming they’ll be able to survive better in a forest without supplies since they’re both used to such a lifestyle and small enough to presumably not need much food to sustain themselves…would hunting animals to survive count as outside help?).
what a are the cheifs best masksman shiop feats, how many targets can he hit in 2 secounds, how far away are they, is it in a forrest where eworks can take cover or are they all tied too a chair next too cheif with a rocket launcher….all theses are factors on whether or not MC can kill the three ewoks in 2 seconds…..
*Did you read the OP?*
-
Yes I did, and the next time you mention such a thing in a humor thread I will shit in your cereal.
@mrgendrons
-
unless I missed something in one of the 3 games he appeared in chief’s marksmanship is entirely dependent on who’s playing the game. I for example blow with a sniper rifle but am awesome with close range
@lancer_AR
-
Those feats would have to come from the books since, as you rightly pointed out, marksmanship skills in the games are entirely subjective.
I’m sorry but I have to disagree with the Ewoks.
@reaper
-
even then I don’t fully recall any major marksmanship feats in the books from chief.
…
Why admin hate the ewoks?
For those confused, its just three ewoks, not all of them.
And we’re assuming Chief will kill them on site, or them on him (or try to, assuming the rocks are fast enough to go through his shields, the armor, the mesh, the skin, the hardened bones, and then his nice fleshy organs).
Remember this isn’t some clone who get knocked out by rocks even tho they are wearing helmets
Well the canon we use hasn’t even been specified. Movie or books?! (for ewoks)
Or comics, cause I’ve seen a few star wars comics.
“even then I don’t fully recall any major marksmanship feats in the books from chief.”
-
It’s implied that he was spec-ops good before augmentation and even better after.
-
In anycase good enough to hit what he is aiming at unlike the foes the Ewoks have gone up against before.

unless someone gives cannon marksmanship feats or the chief i dought hes killing three ewoks in 2 sec’s.
I have nothing to say….
@StealthRanger
overuled
Admin’s vote counts OVER 9000!!! so there is no dealing with that.
Methinks the moment the match starts MC puts lead on the faces of the three Ewoks.
-
Reaction Time feats for the three?
MC wins.
Reaction Time feats for the three?
-
Hmmmm, short legs, fat belly, the fact that they live on trees to avoid predators as they can’t outrun them to avoid being eaten and the fact they build traps also show that they are lazy and aren’t used to working out their legs.
Reaction time? not more than a spartan and most certainly not enough to at least aim dodge bullets.
And Chief can finish this in less than 2 secs, all he needs to do is spray from one end to the other and not just fire burst at one at a time.
starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Wicket
-
Even the littlest of them has considerable experience in battle, including experience against the Sanyassan marauders, who were an entire group of blaster rifle wielding pirates.

They have traps because there’s multiple races of giants and dragons and there’s ground krackens and it’s all just violent and not nice on Endor.

That’s just a sampling. It’s as if half the life on the third moon of Endor wants to EAT THEM ALIVE. They’re not lazy, they’re just naturally stout, like bears, badgers, and dwarves.

Can’t the Ewoks canonically cast Force storms (starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Staff_of_Logray), freeze beings in time (starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Wicket), and shrink creatures out of existence (starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ewoks_11:_The_Incredible_Shrinking_Princess)? Also… destroy entire mountains: images2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/ca/Mount_Sorrow.JPG
Is that even canon?
As canon as the clone wars cartoon and the novels are.
Is this a match or shooting practice ? lol
Can’t MC just shoot them?
That’s kind of like asking “Can’t Master Chief just shoot that Jedi?”
@ Whatthecell
Before or after MC gives them a bullet makeover?
I sort of imagine this going master chief raises his gun to fire, only to get zapped by Logray.. and his gun shrinks, making it jam.. and then his armor is made to shrink, killing him.
That’s kind of like asking “Can’t Master Chief just shoot that Jedi?”
-
Well yeah, why not?
It’s not like a bullet to the head doesn’t count as lethal this days.
And I know what you mean. Now blasters are flashy and can be repelled by the light saber, bullets are made of lead so yeah they won’t deflect just like that and I suppose this Ewok Jedi is in the possession of a light saber.
Unless you are directing to the example of clone or storm troopers that have failed to kill Jedis?
Are you aware that Storm troopers can’t hit water even if they fell off a boat!
Actually the Shaman is in possession of a powerful staff and the sunstar-shadowstone, with in it’s realm of abilities is..
-
“Through the use of her staff, Morag could perform a variety of tasks ranging from the creation of energy bolts to the manipulation of other being’s minds. When attempting to attack others with her staff, Morag would tap her staff on the ground, creating a long strand of energy which would chase and attack Morag’s enemies. In addition, Morag could use the staff to manipulate the plant life on Endor.”
-
From when Morag only had the shadowstone half.
-
The complete stone was used in a ritual which caused all of Endor’s moons to align. So.. knowing Master Chief is being put up against a powerful magical opponent, how do you expect him to win? Unless they start right in front of each other, and he just so happens to shoot the right Ewok first, and just so happens to do it before Logray can use magic on him, then he’s going to lose.
“Unless they start right in front of each other, and he just so happens to shoot the right Ewok first, and just so happens to do it before Logray can use magic on him, then he’s going to lose.”
-
Thats actually how I thought the match was supposed to be. I mean unless he starts within line of sight and range, theres no way he can find and shoot them in 2 seconds. But then again, maybe we’re taking this 2 second rule too literal?
You never know how MC will fair with the current threat, he could pull of an evade an fire combat, I just see the Ewoks in a disadvantage as their opponent isn’t just a regular grunt, and magic doesn’t mean instant win if your opponent relies on technology.
Master chief has high reflexes, a spartan can make rapid response during instantaneous pop up threats, they can think very fast like a computer. That with speed and MC will be running through that forest as if it was his playground.
So I think that what I stated will allow people to understand how fast and easy MC can spin in a 360 degree and pull of a head shot to any amount of Ewoks surrounding him (assuming he has enough ammo).
And it’s being confirmed that MC in Halo4 has X-Ray vision that allow him to see through walls.
I think the 2 seconds bit was supposed to be an insult.. or he’s way over confident. With the sunstar, Morag didn’t just survive falling in to magma, it allowed her to mutate in to a lava monster. She was able to use the shadowstone to reanimate the dead, turning a skeleton in to a fully fleshed out monster. Tricks like this are going to be hard to over come in the span of two seconds.
You know what is easy for a spartan to do in 2 seconds?
Pull off a head shot to 3 close range targets who apparently can’t do anything about it during the laps of 2 seconds.
Master Chief T-Bags them like a BOSS! 8)
If the cartoon is canon (and as far as I know it is), then it hard to see how a vote for Master Chief is born out of anything but ignorance & hate.
-
Ewoks for the FP Award.
“Pull off a head shot to 3 close range targets who apparently can’t do anything about it during the laps of 2 seconds.”
-
Well it’s unfortunate that he’s facing experienced warriors then who can actually react with in that time frame, huh?
“I for example blow with a sniper rifle”
-
Innuendo…..
Wow, major… MAJOR backfire.
-
So ewoks are bullet-timers?
Ewoks can dodge bullets?
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a weird MC match.
In one of the pictures that Watthecell posted, there is a talking mountain, are talking mountains a part of star wars universe?
How exactly, do we know that these three have any of these force abilities, or other ‘special’ Ewok abilities?
-
Assuming that one of them is Logray just because the Ewok is striped is somewhat pre-emptive. I mean isn’t he supposed to have a staff with bones attached?
-
Though seriously the amount of wank in that Ewok cartoon puts them at a stupid power level.
Doesn’t matter whether you believe there should or shouldn’t be talking mountains in star wars. Canon is Canon.
Just for the record, “bullet timing” is technically humanly possible.
But I think the Ewoks have a big chance of winning.
‘cept it be impossible for the human eye to trace such small objects in flight
-
“But I think the Ewoks have a big chance of winning.”
-
Spite thread backfired :3
How do I PM? I’ll tell you there.
If you want to PM admin then you go to either Battle requests or the contact on the top bar
I meant users. Is that possible?
……Well this is embarrassing.
-
I had some how gotten that it was MC Vs. all the Ewoks at once……
-
Though even with just three of them, MC doesn’t have much of a chance if they don’t start right in front of him.
-
And even then, if he doesn’t kill Logray first he’s dead.
Umm, nothing in the original post suggested that the three Ewoks we are currently discussing are the actual ones MC will fight.
MC stomps. Seriously, I’ve yet to see evidence they can dodge or survive his spraying.
@Hermit
Well, if their stronger magic users aren’t in this….
-
That would be a spite thread…..
-
And Admin would never do something like that : D …..
-
Would he?
“Umm, nothing in the original post suggested that the three Ewoks we are currently discussing are the actual ones MC will fight.”
-
And I quote…
-
“here the three friggin beasties displayed in the picture”
-
The three ewoks pictured are Logray, Chirpa, and Wicket.
-
“MC stomps. Seriously, I’ve yet to see evidence they can dodge or survive his spraying.”
-
It’s not in MC’s character to just spray wildly, and unless they begin right in front of him it’d just be a waste of ammunition anyways. All it would take is a thought from Logray to use some force magic on him anyways.
-
“In one of the pictures that Watthecell posted, there is a talking mountain, are talking mountains a part of star wars universe?”
-
There is speculation on the mountain’s species of origin. Personally, I believe it was simply imbued with enough force energy at some point to obtain sapience. However, there is at least one race which it could be an extremely old example of. I’ll scroll through wookieepedia sometime to find it.
-
“So ewoks are bullet-timers?”
-
No, but all three have experience with gun users and would know exactly what to expect from MC.
-
“How exactly, do we know that these three have any of these force abilities, or other ‘special’ Ewok abilities?”
-
Because they have an entire cartoon series and comic series devoted to them. Lucas -loves- the Ewoks.
-
“Assuming that one of them is Logray just because the Ewok is striped is somewhat pre-emptive. I mean isn’t he supposed to have a staff with bones attached?”
-
Logray obviously has the churi bird skull, Chirpa’s the right color too and has the right hood and staff, and that’s pretty clearly Wicket, who’s the most popular/commonly seen Ewok. Wicket is most commonly depicted with a spear, if I recall, and that’s the right coloration and hood for him too. He’s also small for an Ewok.
-
“Though seriously the amount of wank in that Ewok cartoon puts them at a stupid power level.”
-
This is rampant in star wars, probably because it’s a franchise meant for children. The Ewoks just don’t hide it so much because they’re easily sold to kids.
“The three ewoks pictured are Logray, Chirpa, and Wicket.”
-
How’d you know this?
Those three could easily have been other Ewoks.
MC’s reaction would let him kill them. A thought may be all that’s needed, but his reactions both mentally and physically are super-human. Also, assuming they start off hostile, he would just wipe them out.
“How’d you know this?
Those three could easily have been other Ewoks.”
-
Because they obviously look a lot like them.
-
Besides, it took me a whole 5 seconds, literally, to find this, beginning from when I decided to look for it to when I found it. Ok, maybe 6 seconds.
-
robbvision.deviantart.com/gallery/8095978#/d49095t

I tend to know my ewoks fairly well, but since you’re under the “all ewoks look a like” stance, this should bury your qualms. The artist himself names them.
-
“MC’s reaction would let him kill them. A thought may be all that’s needed, but his reactions both mentally and physically are super-human. Also, assuming they start off hostile, he would just wipe them out.”
-
It doesn’t matter, he can only raise and fire his gun so fast. Again, unless he begins with them right infront of them, and he knows exactly who to kill first, then your stance has no ground to support it. Even then it’s an iffy situation for him. It takes a lot longer to raise a gun and fire than it does to think “Blast him with energy!” or “shrink him!” or “Hypnotize him!” or any other trick.

I believe this is the race that has been speculated as being the origin of Mount Sorrow.
I find it disappointing that you people hate MC this much.
MC stomps. Hard.
“I find it disappointing that you people hate MC this much.
MC stomps. Hard.”

While I’ve provided a wealth of information concerning why and how the Ewoks can defeat Master Chief.. you provided nothing. I’m labeling you a fanboy. Sure, I have about as much backing up that claim as you have yours, but I’m sure you think it’ll stick since you seem convinced your own statement will.
So.. that’s it? That’s the best the MC fans have been able to provide with in a 24 hour time frame? Just “MC Stomps!”…? Seriously?
@Sauro
lol fine I’ll debate for chief, but first can you list Logray and co’s damage capacity, and reaction feats and how they would usually deal with opponents?
Okay, so apparently these are Ewoks with Force abilities.
-
If it was normal Ewoks, I’d give it to Master Chief, because (I think, I haven’t actually played Halo, but I know it’s an FPS where you kill scores of alien gribblies) he’s taken on legions of aliens more powerful than Ewoks (yes, I know they’re supposed to be stronger than humans, but I would have thought Halo has some really nasty aliens), so I would have given him the win, but…Force abilities?! Ewoks win.
-
“In anycase good enough to hit what he is aiming at unlike the foes the Ewoks have gone up against before.”
Read the article entitled ‘the Stormtrooper fallacy’ about the Endor battle. It turns out in Episode 6 they weren’t actually that bad. They had inept commanders and bad organisation, but they did okay in the actual battle. It does sound weird, and you’ll probably just say, “dude! They got beaten by Ewoks! Dude!” but read it and understand, or don’t read it and just take my word for it. (The article’s on this site, I believe, by the way.)
“Read the article entitled ‘the Stormtrooper fallacy’ about the Endor battle.”
-
I tend to find fans’ attempts at explaining away the Ewok victory bad form. The Storm Troopers fucked up, and weren’t that good back in the day, and that’s all there is to it. Combine with the fact that Ewoks are actually little geurillas with lots of combat experience, the bumbling Stormies never stood a chance.
-
“lol fine I’ll debate for chief, but first can you list Logray and co’s damage capacity, and reaction feats and how they would usually deal with opponents?”
-
The Sunstar-Shadowstone and Logray’s staff possess incredible power, beyond what’s needed to kill Master Chief, ranging from being able to align celestial bodies, being able to power cannons capable of killing Palpatine, fire magical blasts, control plants, shrink targets, mind control, release homing bolts of energy, and more. They can stave off death even from horrendous wounds, reanimate the dead in to fully living, fleshed out beings even from just bones, and transmutate as well. Logray studied Morag’s dark arts and learned them well in order to defeat her with her own magic, and eventually fell to the Dark Side in his old age (probably due to the ever growing taint inside of him which was seeded with in when he learned the dark arts, as he was a truly good person before hand). All three characters are clever, wise, and experienced, good in their own departments, such as wizardry, leadership, and scouting, with experience against monsters, warlocks, and soldiers alike. Their reaction timing is what is to be expected, which is to say fairly good due to living on such a hostile planet, but not super human. They’re more akin to The Doctor from Dr.Who in that they use their intelligence to solve and overcome problems.
@Sauro
K…so let’s say what would happen if Master Chief got a chance to raise his assault rifle and started shooting (let’s say the trio are 60 ft away and saw him seconds before he opens fire?)
Well, if they know he’s the enemy and they need to kill him, Logray would probably do something horrible to him before he opens fire. They know what guns do. They’ve fought both the Sanyassans and the Empire. He might send a magic ray to blast his gun out of his hands for instance. He’s used the sunder technique on Morag the witch before.
@Sauro
Okay, now how fast do you think Logray’s ”lethal” attacks are? (avoidable if possible? can cover be effective to his attacks?)
Well, it’s hard as hell to tell with comics. You may have seen me cutting down speed feats in fights involving comic book characters before due to the ability for people to assess art differently from others. However, if you watch the Ewok cartoons, you should get an idea of how quickly things happen with Logray and Morag. I’m given the impression some abilities are homing and others are not, however.
I wonder how many more Vs. it will take for Admin to ether defeat the Ewoks, or emit defeat.
-
Love them, or hate them. Just based on feats alone Logray must be one of the most powerful Force-users in the entire EU.
@Shgon Dunstan: Probably one. I just suggested one.
I’m sure the Ewoks have already suffered at least one loss on the site. I don’t always follow them very closely though.
