Galacta Knight is a composite incarnation of his appearances and will be to scale against Ghirahim.
The battlefield is all of Yoshi Island.

At first glance I am going with Ghirahim. But I know nothing of Galactca Knight. Is he a stronger version of Meta Knight?

Galacta, in a nutshell, is a more powerful Meta Knight.
Canonically, he has the title Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy.
He can attack with the lance at VERY high speeds and power, and hes got a bunch of special abilites like pillars of fire, lightning bolts, dagger projectiles, a shield laser attack, and a nigh unavoidable Mach Tornado.

Ghirahim is actually very similar to Zant in his abilities.

His powers include teleportation, summoning monsters, shooting magic daggers, summoning up to 2 normal sized swords out of thin air, summoning 1 huge sword out of this air, creating barriers, making his skin harder then metal, arrow timing reflexes to name the notable ones.
And he can also use Skyward Strikes.

well in the Codex Alera books by Jim Butcher author of the Dresden Files fyi. All humans are elemental users, by using creatures known as Furies there are wood air fire water earth and metal furies. First Lords have access generally to all. Wood allows intense archery skills that make Green Arrow look like a noob as well as sensing wood. Metal allows grafting metal to skin (and can make steel hard as diamond if needed) and sensing metal. However they can’t teleport or summon weapons. but arrow timing summoning monsters (furies which are part of power set so not outside help) are experts with blades and can snipe with a bow and arrow like a modern sniper with a rifle.

If Galacta pulls a move like the Mach Tornado, a kind of attack that aims for pretty much the entire body, would it hurt Ghirahim in his metallic state? I would think he would connect at LEAST once….

I have never seen Galacta Knight in action, but I didn’t care for Ghirahim’s swordplay. None of his battles were difficult, and his attacks seemed so telegraphed.

It is curious, however, if Ghirahim can be harmed by any kind of sword, however. I don’t want to pull a Ganondorf here, considering I oppose the idea that Ganondorf is immune to anything like some think here on FP.

Anyway, Ghirahim, after the first battle, says that the only reason why Link even defeated him was because of the Goddess Sword. Of course, he never demonstrated that he was immune to any other weapon, so he’s just assuming things.

I’ll grant that Ghirahim’s defense is good, though. He can take sword strikes and block them with his own if they’re out, or he could grab his opponent’s sword if his opponent fails to pull the sword from his grip.

Keep in mind gameplay mechanics are a HUGE thing in the Kirby games.
I keep trying to count how many times he can jab in a second…..

In regards to this match, one of several gameplay mechanics that has to be discounted is Galacta not guarding himself.
Hes proven to be a master swordsman, and that shield cant just be for show.
it seems rather silly that in reality he would just walk into attacks.

Anyway, besides the monster summon Ghirahim can do, he also has extremely good reflexes demonstrated when he sidesteps out of the way of arrows and Skyward Strikes so fast his body doesn’t even appear to move as well as becoming a blur for a split second.
