    Boo, no game previews this time.

    Some funny stuff though, good that the Solomon Grundy video got dug up, I remember that from awhile back.

    This new setup is really nice Admin and once the comment box is sorted out, I will have no issues with this site.

    Well we have an issue with you munki… why don’t you just go back in the closet.

    *sigh* You’re back. You already used(what you probably think is a good joke)that one on me. I haven’t seen you on any other thread on this site actually debating. Let me make this clear to you: You are not wanted, Please leave, go live your sad life elsewhere.

    Now i shall plan ways to introduce Moka Akashiya from Rosario + Vampire to the ‘pile, next.
    Wonder who should she fight.

    “Now i shall plan ways to introduce Moka Akashiya from Rosario + Vampire to the ‘pile, next.”

    Not much combat feats other than utterly curbstomping practically every fight she’s in with a single roundhouse kick. Akuha would be a far better choice.

  11. Commander Cross October 9, 2011 at 11:17 am -      #11

    @Observer

    Blast, and i was thinking to have her against Thalia of Camp Half-Blood, as well.

    What is Akuha’s feats?
    Also, are the two legitimate or illegitimate children(Moka and Akuha!) if i may ask?

  12. Asger October 9, 2011 at 11:18 am -      #12

    “Wonder who should she fight.”

    By the sound of Observer’s decription, Chie Satonaka and her Galactic Punt would be a good fight.

  13. Commander Cross October 9, 2011 at 11:25 am -      #13

    @Asger

    Tell me what you must about those two, please?
    I’m all ears.

    Now THAT is what i call a worthy opponent for Moka to fight(Thalia of Camp Half-blood aside, that is!)

    Also, that said, anyone mind spreading the word on the issue regarding the lack of a proper U.S release for the Post-Faceless ones Skulduggery Pleasant novels?

    You have good news from your end, sir? *salutes*
    It seems like most of the people in Fett’s latest fight alongside Samus are at a loss, as since Sprunks isn’t returning, we don’t know as to whether or not the match should be modified and if so, how. :?

    In my opinion, Kharn is a “wank tank” and the 2 bounty hunters bust his shit up.

  21. Gluttonous-Behemoth October 9, 2011 at 3:35 pm -      #21

    @N-Z

    Well, FiM is pretty popular, so Faust and her successors must have been doing something right.

  22. theobserver October 9, 2011 at 3:37 pm -      #22

    “What is Akuha’s feats?

    Knowledge of some form of martial arts, being able to take on one of the Three Hades Lords, and having a technique that splits dimensions.

    “Also, are the two legitimate or illegitimate children(Moka and Akuha!) if i may ask?”

    Moka and Akuha are half sisters with the same father and a different mother. Moka’s mom was Akasha Bloodriver, heralded to be the most powerful Hades Lord, while Akuha’s mom is the current leader of Fairy Tale.

  23. Commander Cross October 9, 2011 at 3:46 pm -      #23

    @Observer

    Well that helps in clearing up Akuha’s fighting capabilities, now i need someone from Camp Half-Blood or even Star Wars to find a worthwhile opponent for her, to begin with(too bad i introduced Kokoa Shuzen prematurely, even by factpile standards, otherwise she’d have had feats on her side outside power-scaling!)

    I meant to ask in terms of whether or not Moka’s and Akuha’s father married either of their mothers, because for the life of me i can’t be sure on whether or not they’re legitimate or illegitimate children. :?

  24. Soldier's Shadow October 9, 2011 at 5:56 pm -      #24

    “In my opinion, Kharn is a “wank tank” and the 2 bounty hunters bust his shit up.”

    While Kharn is definitely a wank god here, Boba’s up there too and also the first to die in that match-up. Samus solos.

  25. Commander Cross October 9, 2011 at 8:34 pm -      #25

    I wonder how many will die in this tag-team faceoff before it actually sees any real ending at all? *gulps no matter what ending would ensure*

    @Observer

    I await your answers to my new questions, then.

  26. theobserver October 9, 2011 at 8:59 pm -      #26

    @CC

    Vampire lords hardly need to be monogamous. :P When Akuha was introduced, she was apparently brought in as a new addition to the family. All three of the Shuzen siblings, Akuha, Kahlua, and Kokoa were from Gyokuro Shuzen I think while Moka was the only one with a different mother. I don’t think it was ever stated that either was illegitimate. Then again it’s been ages since I’ve read R+V season 2 since the new chapters only get released once a month. Seeing their seemingly hierarchical standard of living, I’d think that the lord of the castle possessed more than one wife.

  27. Commander Cross October 9, 2011 at 9:10 pm -      #27

    @Observer

    So its other words, its left ambiguous as if it were some kind of Shrug of God/gods, in regards like marriage and all that jazz, right? :?

    That is a rather confusing prospect to think about, right there.

    So in any case, Who to pit Akuha against, actually?
    I already am considering having Thalia of Camp Half-Blood or the likes of one of the people from Persona 4 that Asger mentioned against Moka, but who to find for Akuha?

  28. theobserver October 9, 2011 at 9:21 pm -      #28

    @CC

    My only qualm about R+V is the relative lack of feats since it’s more of a drama than an action manga. You’re going to have to do a lot of digging if you want to find enough feats for the characters there. Although, the recent chapters are giving characters like Tsukune a hell of a strength boost. The reason I thought Akuha would be a good character to bring out is due to the fact that she’s one of the only characters that have actually been given enough screen time while fighting to show her abilities.

    Here’s a quick overview on Akuha:

    outskirtsbattledome.wikispaces.com/Character+Profile+-+Akuha+Shuzen

  29. Commander Cross October 9, 2011 at 9:25 pm -      #29

    @Observer

    While i am trying to plan out Scott Pilgrim vs Luke Castellan of Camp Half-Blood(Along with Xeno Dimentio) i believe a worthy opponent for Tsukune to face off as of the latest news would be Scott, himself.
    One of the problems, would be finding out whether or not Scott should come with Composite!-hammerspace weaponry or if he should just have the equipment from either the games, graphic novels, or the movie itself.

    Why not have Akuha against Bella Cullen and then see what happens?
    Or is that going to be another borderline case of unstoppable force meeting unmovable objects?(Eragon vs Sir Galahad, anyone?)

  30. theobserver October 9, 2011 at 9:36 pm -      #30

    “Or is that going to be another borderline case of unstoppable force meeting unmovable objects”

    Let’s take this to the topia and discuss feats there. Wouldn’t want to clutter up the page more than it already is.

    I’ve been watching this Chicken or Egg poll for the last week now. For those of you choosing egg, I preset this. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38238685/ns/technology_and_science-science/t/which-came-first-chicken-or-egg/#.TpJXopuXuso

  35. The Fluctuating Thought October 9, 2011 at 11:16 pm -      #35

    That’s wrong, jwesleya. It’s clear that eggs preexist chickens, therefore dinosaurs > eggs > chickens.

  36. jwesleya October 9, 2011 at 11:19 pm -      #36

    Hey, I’m no professional. I’m just posting what the scientists are saying.

    SOMETHING had to lay that egg. Chicken came first.

  39. Soldier's Shadow October 9, 2011 at 11:31 pm -      #39

    The chicken HAD to have some from somewhere.

  40. Evil muNki October 9, 2011 at 11:39 pm -      #40

    Perhaps evolution? The first single celled organisms didn’t develop in eggs. What if the chicken evolved from those organisms without the need of being in an egg.

    Dinosaurs.

  42. man October 9, 2011 at 11:42 pm -      #42

    The chicken and the egg debate was become an unofficial argument that’s been happening all over the site, I just noticed.

  43. jwesleya October 9, 2011 at 11:47 pm -      #43

    The news post would seem to imply that the first chicken had to have been a live birth mutation… either that or scientists are now supporting creationism which would also support the chicken having been before the egg.

    While this may seem illogical because of such simple reasoning as “eggs pre exist chickens”, I might remind you that if one of us can so quickly think of such a thing, I’m sure it has already been discounted by the scientists that came to this conclusion.

    In other words, if you truly intend to disprove this, find the report, read it thoroughly, then do your own research to find any faults in their findings.

    As it stands, we have here the two most creditable sources of information on earth (being science and religion) both stating that the chicken came before the egg.

    In all fairness, however, I found this post after about 2 minutes on google. Perhaps this finding has already been disputed and discounted by a different research team. Perhaps I’ll look tomorrow for something a little more concrete. For now, though, I’m hitting the hay. G’night.

  44. Evil muNki October 9, 2011 at 11:49 pm -      #44

    I never really understood why people supported the egg coming first theory. It just doesn’t make any sense. How can an egg which has to be layed, come before that which is supposed to lay the egg?

  45. Mister Teal October 10, 2011 at 12:02 am -      #45

    It’s a trick question.

    The chicken has to get pregnant in the first place, so the answer to the question would be the rooster. The rooster comes first.

    boom.

    “Also, anyone knows how females from Moka’s academy tend to have romantic affections for her and all that jazz?*at least in general?*”

    Maybe it’s the typical vampire charm, or just chalk it up to Japan having a thing for lesbians. Either way I don’t mind the treatment.

    Lesbians.

  53. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 2:46 pm -      #53

    @Theobserver

    At least you’re back.

    Also to be frank, personally neither do i, as in fact i’d even buy the idea of if there were a Camp Half-Blood anime that took place during the main storyline of the 1st fable, if a lot of girls fell in love + lust with Silena Beauregard(from outside the Aphy cabin*her mother’s cabin* of course!) really. :P

    Still, the idea of Moka attracting even her own gender sort of reminds me of the times i recall my User-namesake’s maternal cousin(by degrees i can’t recall) winds up attracting people from her own gender in that manner, as well.

  54. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 2:48 pm -      #54

    If you’ve read the recent chapters of R+V, even Akuha has a crush on her. So pretty much, yeah.

  60. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 6:55 pm -      #60

    @Observer

    Yikes! :shock:
    Its already off-key hearing that Kokoa is nuts over Moka, to imagine Akuha going even marginally as nuts on Moka…i might need to consider taking Tylenol, later on, in these regards.

    In any case, i already have Thalia Grace introduced to factpile with Hitman posting my suggested match with Ramona Flowers, so its either Thalia or Ramona who should be facing Akuha if you feel that pitting Bella Cullen against Akuha is an all-out bad idea and an outright stomp-fest in favor of one side or the other.
    Anyway, care to comment back on the Vs Match Aide to let me know as to where to begin on Akuha Shuzen vs Bella Cullen with images used for both and in regards as to whether or not either should start out with weapons?
    I am pretty sure that although Akuha’s most lethal technique may not penetrate Thalia’s copy of Aegis, i cannot say likewise for Thalia’s weaponry nor can i yet be able to prove whether or not the blow could create enough concussion for Thalia’s shield arm to worry about, either.

  61. theobserver October 10, 2011 at 7:11 pm -      #61

    I already posted a reply in the topia some hours ago although admittedly it wasn’t towards the Akuha vs. Bella thing. I still need to know what Bella can do to see whether she can fight someone who can literally phase through any attacks and cut dimensions.

  62. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 7:49 pm -      #62

    @Observer

    As much as i generally detest the twilight sequels(Eclipse was just meh, the one sequel before along with the one after?W.T.T much?) as of Breaking Dawn(incarnation to base Bella off of, since only B.D!-Bella is fight-worthy!) Bella is now faster than Edward Cullen(Yes, the Same Wanking, lying, good-for-nothing pile of cannon-foddery waste of good potential whom we torched with Greek Fire during the last great war for Stonehedge, few months ago!) Stronger than Emmett(who at least has some badassery to back up his cred and a somewhat viable 3-dimensional personality!) and unless i miss my guess, a better fighter than Jasper, overall(even though Jasper has more fighting experience!)

    Too bad that in there, Bella was essentially a Pseudo-Sith/Chaos Lady of Star Wars/Warhammer legacy, otherwise my receptions for her would not border on having to get rid of her via Greek fire.

  63. Zazax October 10, 2011 at 9:59 pm -      #63

    “But what laid the egg A CHICKEN set match done ”
    1) Eggs existed before chickens. See: Dinosaurs.
    2) Creatures do not evolve after they are born. Therefore, the first chicken must have come from a chicken egg, but the first chicken egg would have come from a creature very much like a chicken, but not quite close enough to actually be one (see: Evolution), making the egg come first. Science says your argument is invalid.

    The only ways the chicken could have come before the egg is by either time travel (a current impossibility), or divine intervention (an unmeasureable and unprovable variable). Therefore, egg was first.

    And it’s Game, Set, Match. Sheesh. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ArsonMurderAndJaywalking

  64. Hermit October 10, 2011 at 10:04 pm -      #64

    What the hell!
    The chicken and the egg has turned into a full-blown debate!

    Let’s see, if I say the egg,

    I would argue that, over time, an ancestor of the chicken layed an egg, and that particular ancestor is so close to being a chicken thst when the egg hatched…it was a full-blown chicken.

    i don’t know what I’ll say if the chicken came first.

  65. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 10:22 pm -      #65

    Yet again, where is the Observer when you need the guy, as ever?

  66. theobserver October 10, 2011 at 11:00 pm -      #66

    @CC

    Currently busy dealing with midterm tests and short papers that are slowly starting to pile up since I usually make a point of leaving it until the last couple of days. Gotta tell you, procrastination is not a good habit to pick up especially in university.

    As for the Bella feats…yeah…saying that x character is stronger/faster than y character is fairly useless when I know nothing about either. I need actual descriptions of comparative feats here. Furthermore this is the stuff that the versus match aide was specifically meant to address.

  67. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 11:04 pm -      #67

    @Observer

    Sorry about that.

    I am not the best-suited to dare ask Jwylnas about that regard, since i am in need of his backing on trying to spread word on the existence of the Skulduggery Pleasant series so the U.S won’t be left in the Dark about what’s going on in the world of Skulduggery Pleasant, since apparently as far as the fandom’s concerned in there, contact between the U.S Sanctuary and the European Sanctuaries have been cut off, as of late. :sad: *which as far as i am concerned, is canonical unless the acknowledgement is spread out

  68. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 11:06 pm -      #68

    @Observer

    Another thing is that i am not the one who would dare read the twilight sequels, J would, i wouldn’t, you may wish to speak with him on P.Ms to ask about feats by Emmett, Jasper, and the likes of that *insert explictative word, here* Edward, for that matter.

  69. Hermit October 10, 2011 at 11:14 pm -      #69

    @ theobserver

    I know how that feels from personal experience. For I too go to university…at 17.

    We often have a week here that is called the Hell Week, where every teacher it seems, wants to schedule their exams at the exact same day, while demanding that the requirements be passed, also in the same day.

  70. theobserver October 10, 2011 at 11:19 pm -      #70

    @Hermit

    Yikes, I’m kinda glad my schedules aren’t as horrible as that although next sem could very well lead into a hellish combination of exam timing. Just today I had to take a quiz while studying for a midterm tomorrow and bashing my brain trying to come up with some way to analyze and discuss Sartre’s notion of “existence precedes essence” for a paper due this Friday.

    You sent the P.M to Jwylnas for the questions regarding the 3 people i mentioned in terms of feats?

  74. Hermit October 10, 2011 at 11:43 pm -      #74

    @ Commander Cross

    ‘Hell Week’ is just a term people in our school use whenever a single week was peppered with exams and requirements.

    It can be any week, but it’s usually the week just before the finals, where every teacher would be trying to cram as many exams and requirements as they possibly can before the last exam.

    Teachers here have the freedom of selecting when they want to schedule their exams, or if they even want to schedule one. I’ve had teachers who hasn’t given a single test in a semester. The only time that the exams are scheduled by the school are during the Finals.

  75. Commander Cross October 10, 2011 at 11:45 pm -      #75

    @Lieutenant Hermit

    Alright then.
    In the meantime, while we still must promote immediate awareness of the world of Skulduggery Pleasant to factpile and to the U.S itself, through various methods throughout the month, where do we begin in such regards?

    And outside it, for that matter what say you to a death-match between Zacharias Smith and Edward Cullen where they can both just go ahead and kill each other both permanently and mutually and save the rest of us so much trouble?

    Edward Cullen strangles Smith.

    @Lieutenant Hermit

    If that’s all there is to it, without even so much as an ‘attempt’ at mutually assured destruction, so much for that attempt at a bright idea on my part. :sad:

    Meantime, ready to help me out with how to spread word on the world of Skulduggery Pleasant, by Derek Landy?

    I’m thinking of starting off with introducing either Valkyrie Cain or Mr. Bliss, first off, once i find workable opponents for each, what about you?

    Also, ready to get back to A.T vs R.S for more plotting out the Civil War’s battle plans?

  78. Hermit October 11, 2011 at 12:14 am -      #78

    Sorry, no knowledge of the topic.

    I’m thinking of introducing the anime series Final Fantasy: Unlimited, but I still have to find a good opponent, any ideas?

  79. Hermit October 11, 2011 at 12:18 am -      #79

    @ Commander Cross
    Except for the last part, I didn’t get ‘A.T.’ and ‘R.S.’ the first time.

    @Lieutenant Hermit

    So much for aid other than that of Jwylnas. :sad:

    Ever tried considering the entire .hack universe, in that case?
    I tried introducing Alkaid, i feared its not enough if .hack is to get enough positive exposure to factpile, by now.

    What about Valkyrie Cain(from the world of Skulduggery Pleasant) with the Scepter of the Ancients vs any of the 8 Phase monsters(preferably and most likely Skeith) in one-on-one?

  81. Commander Cross October 11, 2011 at 12:19 am -      #81

    Adventure Time vs Regular Show.

  82. Hermit October 11, 2011 at 12:43 am -      #82

    Sorry if I can’t be of any help, but I don’t know any of the characters, and I have watched like….ten minutes of .hack.

  83. theobserver October 11, 2011 at 12:44 am -      #83

    “You sent the P.M to Jwylnas for the questions regarding the 3 people i mentioned in terms of feats?”

    Not yet. To be honest that particular match isn’t really on the top of my priority list right now but I’ll consider it perhaps some other time.

    @Observer

    Well in the meantime, can you check my accidental double-post from the last page of Vs. Match Aide and share your thoughts with what i brought up, in regards to what i feel must be done, so far?

    Still, i would find it very ironic if someone were to have Moka Akashiya vs Bella Cullen(Post-Vampification, of course!) and amplify the irony by having found an image of Brunette!-Moka(her original hair color in the manga!) against Vamp!-Bella Cullen, given that they’re both Brunettes and one of the only real differences is that Moka is actually able to remain likable while Bella…just became a Villain-Sue of sorts.
    Shall i expand on the irony, or is the tip of the iceberg enough for you to imagine?

    And i hope that if Moka is considered a ‘Dike-magnet’ that it wasn’t intended to be an insult, outright, because according to one of my best friends(yes, the Tsundere Princess who got indirectly insulted via Master Chief vs Sam Fisher match, remember?) Dike is actually an offensive term for lesbians and bi-sexual females(or at least lesbians) if i recall correctly from somewhere.
    I hope said best friend isn’t dead. :sad:

    P.S:Coincidentally, i find that i am hearing she’s even able to attract people from her own gender, as well, except for the life of me, i’m not sure how that’s possible, either. :shock:

    What’s so hard to believe about it? Some bitches just like other bitches.

    Also is the chicken and egg discussion over?

    Meantime, okay, then. :?

    I just hope if Tsukune had trouble with females that none of them might possibly be bi-furious with him, alright Observer?
