  2. Kenny C. October 18, 2010 at 11:42 pm -      #2

I hope Blizzard can pull itself out of it’s plot-fail slump for this one.

  3. Axalon October 18, 2010 at 11:49 pm -      #3

    @ Kenny:

Why change something that rakes in so much $$$?

  4. man October 18, 2010 at 11:51 pm -      #4

So that they can rake in more.
And experiment on people’s likes and dislikes.

  5. Axalon October 19, 2010 at 12:03 am -      #5

Silly me, I underestimated the power of greed…just continue to milk your cows Blizzard…

  6. OriginalA October 19, 2010 at 12:24 am -      #6

That guys has one hell of a chin, but he is clearly evil since it is pointed.

Notice, Batman. Very heroic. Square chin : www.tvcrazy.net/tvclassics/wallpaper/cartoons/batman/tas/batman.jpg

Superman, also very heroic. Square chin:www.supermanhomepage.com/images/stas/i-STAS.gif

Kit Fisto, heroic jedi. Square chin: www.jedi-business.com/images/actionFigures/The-Clone-Wars-Collection-2/The-Clone-Wars-Collection-2-Kit-Fisto_Big_6.jpg

The Joker. Very evil. Pointy chin: cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/craveonline.com/legacy/article_imgs/Image/joker.jpg

Fire Lord Ozia: Very evil. Pointy chin: media.animegalleries.net/albums/userpics/211270/ozai.png?=123

Now with a chin like this, space.offgamers.com/images/gameguides/2010/April/deathwing_2.jpg, Deathwing the Destroyer is clearly evil.

Yep, spoilers everyone. That dragon is evil. And you can tell because of his chin.

“…just continue to milk your cows Blizzard…”

    this statement has merit

    WoW $30
    Burning Crusade $40
Wrath of the Lich King $60
    Cataclysm $58 (preorder)

    all up thats $188

say you get 4 months free (and you got tehm all on january)

two months is $43 and for 8 months that would be (grand total of the Games+ time)

    $360

and for every year you continue to play WoW it costs you (per Year)

    $258
    ————————————
    Now a PS3 is
    (Preowned) around $300
    (Brand new) $500

    an Xbox 360
    (Prowned) around $200-300
    (Brand new) $400-500

if you take the money you could of spent on WoW+1 year ($618)
you could buy one of those

    Or a Dell Computer

    Or a rustbucket Car

    or alot of things……..Like a T.V.

    So Yeah

  8. OriginalA October 19, 2010 at 12:27 am -      #8

    Spoilers!
    That dragon is evil!

    Check out his chin: space.offgamers.com/images/gameguides/2010/April/deathwing_2.jpg

Now compare it to a hero’s chin and a villian’s chin.

    Hero: images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081101030753/starwars/images/2/25/Kit_Fisto_TCWLD.jpg

    Villian: media.animegalleries.net/albums/userpics/211270/ozai.png?=123

Conculsion: Heroes have broad chins and Villians have pointy chins, thus Deathwing the Destroyer is a Villian.

  9. Zervziel October 19, 2010 at 12:33 am -      #9

Why is it people complain about the price the first time they get the chance? Also tell me where maintaining a franchise spills over into milking one. And why some of you see it as some betrayal when it’s a very legitimate business plan.

  10. OriginalA October 19, 2010 at 12:35 am -      #10

    Hmm…

Are posts with external links disabled?
I’ve attempted twice now to send a post that conclusively proves that Deathwing the Destroyer will be the antagonist by referencing his evil chin and comparing it to other villians and contrasting it to heroes, and neither of those posts have shown up or notified me that my posts were “awaiting moderation”…

Anyways, Deathwing is going to be evil because he has a pointy chin. Despite all of the foreshadowing and badass boasts in that video, the only piece of conclusive evidence that Deathwing the Destroyer is going to be the antagonist that I could find was his pointy chin. … his epic pointy chin, but a pointy chin none-the-less.

And that pointy chin firmly plants him as the Villian.

I suppose if he undergoes a Heel Face Turn his chin would flatten out, and he would be the most heroic character ever because of his epically broad chin.

Or maybe he was originally good, but had a Face Heel Turn and became evil so he had the pointy metal plate placed over his broad chin so to turn his chin into the evil pointy chin it is you see in the video.

    @ OriginalA
    The chin is destiny…..
    For World of Warcraft.

  15. CIDE October 19, 2010 at 5:53 am -      #15

    @the chin:
I didn’t know Leno revealed his dragon form to the world.

  16. man October 19, 2010 at 6:00 am -      #16

    Who’s the chin?
What would happen if Starcraft invaded WoW?

  17. Kenny C. October 19, 2010 at 6:37 am -      #17

I don’t like Deathwing’s new look concerning his jaw (looks like he has an iron gob from WH 40k), his Warcraft 2 look was much more in-line with traditional pointed head look on most dragons.

  18. alphakilo47074 October 19, 2010 at 6:39 am -      #18

I am intimidated by him. yikes.

  19. alphakilo47074 October 19, 2010 at 6:40 am -      #19

    no one can tame it.

    @man

Deathwing, if not the old gods, if not the titans.

  20. CIDE October 19, 2010 at 6:43 am -      #20

I can do it. With my pinky finger and a dog leash.

  21. man October 19, 2010 at 6:45 am -      #21

    What about me?
    what about Deathwing?

  22. admin October 19, 2010 at 9:09 am -      #22

@OriginalA – No, you can post with links, I think the threshold is 5 per post, once you include more than that the spam filters kick in.

“I don’t like Deathwing’s new look concerning his jaw (looks like he has an iron gob from WH 40k), his Warcraft 2 look was much more in-line with traditional pointed head look on most dragons.”

I actually like it. I think the iron gob is a reference to 40k which we all know Starcraft and Warcraft borrow alot from and as for the look, I think done good. Deathwing is quite imposing and oddly enough the chin makes for an interesting link to the voice actor I thought would be perfect for Deathwing, Tony Jay who also played the voice of the penultimate villain in ReBoot, Megabyte. If you know the show I speak of then you know of the epicness of that memorable villains chin.

    Epic chinosity, no?

  24. Envoy October 19, 2010 at 10:09 am -      #24

    ReBoot…..twas a great show, nostalgia.
    :)

  25. OriginalA October 19, 2010 at 12:36 pm -      #25

Megabyte, due to his chin, is obviously a hero. Look how broad it is!

  26. alphakilo47074 October 20, 2010 at 7:34 am -      #26

BUT it’s pointy! Ozai’s chin was quite broad above the POINT.

  27. Zervziel October 20, 2010 at 2:43 pm -      #27

Bow before the mighty Chin! The only thing capable of beating such villains is a hero whose power of the chin matches their own.

id like to thank zervziel for the funny comment about my latest post. id also like to answer by saying “not in 10 million years if deathwing had died of cancer 6 times and galbatorix had chuck norris helping him.”

  30. alphakilo47074 October 20, 2010 at 9:19 pm -      #30

    @ WTF bomber

BLASPHEMY! If Galbatorix even had the compliments of chuck he could tame Deathwing from 30,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilometers away!

    @Syncourt

  37. Zervziel October 21, 2010 at 9:42 am -      #37

    @Alphakilo47074

That was actually the hero I was thinking of.

  38. Omega-88 October 21, 2010 at 1:59 pm -      #38

LOL SWTOR WILL BREAK THEM ALL!!

  39. alphakilo47074 October 21, 2010 at 3:46 pm -      #39

umm… for SOME reason I doubt that Omega. maybe because blasters wouldn’t phase him or because he would decimate armies, but SWTOR will break under him.

  40. wtf bomber October 21, 2010 at 7:51 pm -      #40

ok so you believe that lasers wouldnt hurt a dragon just cuz hes using magic metal plates? sounds like fanboyism…

  41. alphakilo47074 October 21, 2010 at 8:07 pm -      #41

    @ WTF bomber

Deathwing’s plates are adamantium : “Deathwing returned to his lair beneath a mountain. His proximity to the Demon Soul was ripping his body apart, so the goblins forged an armor of adamantium to serve as a vessel to contain Deathwing’s raging powers and keep them in check.[4] Only the adamantium plates kept the power from destroying his body.”

    www.wowwiki.com/Deathwing#Rise_of_the_Destroyer

    would lasers kill Wolverine?

  42. alphakilo47074 October 21, 2010 at 8:11 pm -      #42

and just in case the metals are different, if the adamantium in WoW can keep him together when close to something as powerful as the demon soul ( RIDICULOUSLY powerful) would hint towards taking hits from tiny bolts of EXTREMELY hot plasma.
