Making his first apperance on the site is ShineGreymon from the Digimon universe going up aginast Optimus Prime from Transformers.
Between the two I have no idea who will win, so I’m gonna leave it to you people.

simply because digimon always seem to have ridiculous superpowers and greymon(s) are pretty much the main character in the series
Which Prime are we using?
ShineGreymon may have more firepower in the form of a charged solar attack, but like Envoy said, knowing which incarnation of Optimus Prime we’re using would help.
Yeah I don’t kno much about digimon but I think that shinegreymon is the most powerful, is that right?

This usually works for the series though because the top tier digimons either aren’t enemies OR extreme PIS allows the heroes to win anyway.

Regardless, the top tier being I have found in the Digimon multiverse can turn any data…or anything within the digital world into binary numbers of 0 and1. The bad thing about Digimon vs. fights is that Digimon reform when defeated; so if this is to the death – is it DEATH death or it is DEFEAT death.
Also, anything at or stronger then Ultimate level digimon are considered planet-busters. IF this incarnation of Prime cannot planet-bust, then power scaling ShineGreymon should win here.
Meh go like Wargreymon vs. Galliantmon if your doing digimon.

Since when, each digimon are different, I haven’t seen anything to say MarineAngemon or Beelzemon are planet busters. Why should this guy just blow up a planet when other may have shown that.

You need to show that powerscaling, and prove that ShineGreymon isn’t weaker regardless. I’ll bring up the episode but G1 Prime beat Megatron, who could survive an exposion that knocked cybertron out of orbit.

Wizardmon died, so did Myotismon, while the reform is the same species it is not the same person. Heck, once ShineGreymon dies there is no garuntee he’ll actually become a ShineGreymon again.

If this is Cybertron Prime, he would probably win, what with his Galaxy Cannon and all. ( Just a name, the cannon does not destroy galaxies)
Other Primes, i have absolutely no idea.

It should be the normal ShineGreymon, since the other its digivolved form and last I cheked most digimons could not digivolve without a digivice or until a certain point in their “lives”.

Or without that one little annoying digimon from Season 3 that could somehow force digivolve those around it.
To answer the question though it just says Shinegrymon in the OP. That’s the one we probably go with.

Calumon only digivloved people in the same “world” should this fight take place in the real world shinegreymon would be stuck in one form. Even if he reincarnated in the digital world last I checked, digimon couldn’t move from these worlds of their own power, unless you were one of the 4 soverigns, or a tamer.

I’m interpretting this as he can’t combine with his trailer, if that’s the case, ShineGreymon would probably win.
Well, lets see. ShineGreymon has a sword called the GeoGrey Sword, which has the power of the Earth itself.
ShineGreymon can also transform into ShineGreymon Burst Mode, where he has flames that are potentially as hot as a solar flare, and has a last effort attack called “Final Shining Burst”, where he creates a huge explosion.
I’ll give my vote to ShineGreymon.
Assuming Shinegreymon gets the Geogrey-sword I’d say he’d win. Geogrey-sword has the condensed power of the earth. Shinegreymon is also very fast crossing a gigantic lake in mere minutes.

I too can agree with the 1st 3 Digimon series, but the 5th one is somewhat better than the 4th one, I feel.
Digimon Tamers was my favorite season. Mostly because it was the most realistic.

I liked Tamers because
A: Cast seemed less moronic and more realistic in their problems and flaws.
B: The Digimon and Battle scenes were frickin’ kick ass.
C: I liked the added insight into the Digital World, kinda showing something resembling a hierarchy and the place’s origins.

I think Digimon could do decently in a properly formed match.
I loved Adventure and Tamers is awesome but I feel Savers is underrated, the plot is really good after the first twelve episodes. Anyway Shinegreymon takes this even if Optimus has his trailer. It would be a lot harder but from what I’ve seen of Optimus he doesn’t beat Shinegreymon.

I can tell you that it managed to stop a full on massive missile barrage from an overly powered (and humorous) Decepticon.
But there are no videos of that on the internet.
I can’t think of any Geogrey-sword feats at the moment but it is supposed to have the condensed power of the earth.
