I pre-ordered legendary from gamestop so I get like all the extras. I was thinking about getting the console bundle but it didn’t come with legendary……
@the_man-I feel here you coming from but I figured the console would be the best value for my cash. Limited edition X-Box, 2 Limited edition controllers which will cost 60 upon release, Halo: Reach, and a Halo themed wired headset all for 400$. You can’t beat that with a stick. Plus the console has exclusive Halo themed sounds and shit. However I might buy the Legendary Halo sooner or later.
That’s the one thing that pisses me off about Sony. Microsoft has released multiple limited edition consoles over the years yet Sony only has one in the works(Grand Turismo) yet it looks shitty and is only being released in Japan as usual. Sony doesn’t seem to want to show any other country but Japan any love. They released 3 color ways upon PS3′s release over there but only one over here. Meanwhile Microsoft has released Halo 3 edition 360, FF edition 360, Resident Evil edition 360, COD edition 360, and now Halo Reach edition(which looks the best in my opinion which is why I’m taking the plunge). Sony needs to step it up in that department cause Ninty and MS has them beat there.

For a moment it seem’d to me that she was talking to Cortana and discusing the mission where the Spartans were to capture a high ranking Prophet and discuss a peace. But Cortana only looked at Spartan II’s and if she was talking about NOBLE Team it would’nt fit into the storyline. Also, Halsey mentions NOBLE Six’s kill ratio was the second highest through out all the Spartan’s saying that 117′s was the higher.
I know. It was a tough descsion for me. One side wants all the available stuff in game and the other side wants all the available stuff on the outside. I chose the in game because I can actually show people what
I have through Xbox live instead of just showing what I have to my friends. But this way for $450 I can get legendary along with pre-order bonus plus that new sleek looking xbox. If they packaged Legendary and the Reach Xbox for $500 even I would pounce on it immiedetly.

Linda is amazing at sniping. She took out multiple hostiles in banshees while severly ingured and holding the sniper rifle with one hand.

I doubt Fred or the actual teams from the Halo books will be in this game. It seems to me like they’re deviating from the canon already put down. Last time i checked the 3s were weaker then the 2s but were cheaper to make and were mass producible. In this game I see no real difference between the 2 other then customizable armours. Which leads to a very important question. Which do we take as canon Reach or the books?

The III’s probably had better training than the II’s. But their SPI suits had no shields and were less effective against all weapons. Their armor was cheaper.

Not necesarily. Reach was one of the planets the FRs controlled and possibly populated.

Well, actually the events in this game will take place later during the events in the novel.
They’ll make a graphic novel for halo reach that will update all the content.
Spartan 3 aren’t weaker than spartan 2′s, it was only that their SPI armor didn’t augment their strength.
But seeing as that they’re also able to wear to mjolnir armor, who says they’re weaker.
John 117 weights 250 pounds while the other spartan 3s on Noble team weight in the range of 200 to 230 pounds and more, except Jorge, he weights at a staggering 320 pounds.

Here’s a random theory. . .Let’s say they survived the Halo’s and ended up discovering another universe’s tech? Possibly learning to use Hyperspace or enter Warp? I’d say that the game has something like a terminal. . .The harder they are to find, the more info they contain. Maybe that their rings are now outdated and they have much more how do I say efficient ways of destruction. Be strong hotshot, resist the temptation!!!
S-IIIs are weaker than S-IIs. The bio-augmentations arn’t as powerful as the S-II’s, but rather safer. However S-IIIs can still were S-II armour as they arn’t too incredibly weaker than S-IIs. In terms of training it doesn’t look too much different. I think the 2s maybe had a little tougher, but not by much. The 3s seem to have been more group trained and less individual than the 2s.
BTW george is a S-II.
Noble Team might be a special squad of S-IIIs. In Halo Evolutions there were extremely trained groups of 2 that had to be a match to each other mentally and physically at like 98% or something. They go on extreme Spec. Ops missions. Noble team might be something like that except less extreme.
Stronger than the rings? What like a fail safe bomb that can destroy an entire galaxy? That would be pretty cool actually.
