To make it fair, MC would be placed somewhere in the world where Bugs resides.

I’m just imagining Master Chief chasing Bugs Bunny to a rabbit hole moments too late to catch him, staring down the hole while Bugs Bunny burrows out of the ground behind him holding a carrot and joining Master Chief in staring down the same rabbit hole.
Actually, maybe an energy sword instead of a carrot… Bugs would win in this scenario.
Dang it. In Bugs Bunny’s world, he wins. Cartoon Physics is impossible to fight against using any other type of physics and logic.

We have a problem here with bug’s win though.
Everyones forgetting the Rule of Cartoon Physics. Its shared to everyone in the cartoon. Precedent being movies like “Space Jam”, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and that Brendan Fraiser one… name escapes me.
So while Bugs no doubt wins, MC could well harness the rules of funny for himself… So long as he has a sense of humour, or has ever seen a cartoon in his life.

I’m siding with Bugs for the toon shenanigans he pulls off, as well as giving me the opportunity to say toon shenanigans.
However, in line with what JW said — What is MC’s intelligence and adaptibility like? Bob Clampett’s Gremlin nearly made Bugs go insane by outplaying and outsmarting Bugs over and over, is Chief that smart, does he have the mental capacities to do this?
But, given how that particulary cartoon ended, it could be argued that Bugs was just acting (like all the Toons did in Space Jam) as well as the breaking the 4th wall alongside the Gremlin.
just food for thought, like all fights here, Bugs would be trying to kill chief probably. Or maybe, given Bugs supposed genius, he’d just make Chief go crazy and kill himself with all his antics.

I can see Bugs fighting MC at cartoon physics until MC gets used to the idea before Bugs moves them to the real world (as he can do with ease, either digging or just opening up a handy door in the air) and Letting MC murder himself through amusing means.

And personally for me, Daffy Duck and Donald Duck separately. Daffy takes more blows then Bugs dishes out and defeated Taz in a steel cage match, and by strategy if you saw the Duck Dodgers show. While Donald has punched out a Shark, in the water.

That would make things worse for John. Once John and Bugs enter the real world’s physics then normal physics would apply to John but Bugs could still exploit the Rule of Funny (Bugs & Daffy do this all the time in Back In Action). It would effectively take away the one thing that is protecting him from those several ton anvils that can spontaniously fall from right above his head, or Bugs’ lightsaber (again see Back in Action)

We seem to be assuming that Bugs and MC are independently tied to their own universe’s rules. What if the universe rules crosses as well? What if MC had the same ability to change the laws of reality around him just as Bugs? He can already pull guns and ammo out of nowhere.

if this was the real world yes, but this fight is in TOONworld, where anything cartoonish is some kind of deity. and the poor Spartan just so happens to be facing the King of Golden Age Cartoons. (and No I will not try to find a Cartoon King from this decade, b/c they’re all terrible)
so pretty much take any cartoon with Bugs, put MC as the antagonist and watch the hilarity ensure. (particularly the one with Rocky and the stove…you know what i’m talking about.)

I think he told a story about his ancestor that ate beets and had to start eating spinach because the beets finally failed him.(The first time he ate them was on accident.)

How? If GG got close enough BB could just open a hole in the ground that just so happens to make GG appear 5 miles above the ground. If GG corners BB, he could paint a scene really fast, then hop through it. When GG tries, he hits the wall and then a 3,000 ton anvil drops onto him. Basically Bugs Bunny controls every aspect of the battle feild, even how the matter and physics around him act.
This is a cartoon world omega, anything bugs wants to happen can. He could stick is finger into the barrel of a blaster rifle and when it fires it will explode and leave only GG harmed, while BB remains unscathed. Bugs Bunny can literally take the ground out right under him. How do you beat someone that controls every single aspect of the environment around you to the point were normal physics don’t apply.
