Ok I’m not a fan of Warhammer at all but this looks good
it sucks that im not a WH fan but im a mmo fan….i wont know how to cunduct myself online. wonder what the factions are……i need to join something that lets people know when i show up people will die.
Yeah same, I have really 0 knowledge on WH40k. Only tidbits from this site. But I do like the war-torn futuristic setting, if this game has the mechanics to back up the good graphics (for an MMO) I’d def. swap ships from WoW.
All I have to say is about damn time.
i know about nurlge and the plague marines and Mortarion. if you can id luv to be a nurgle….hopefully my character wont turn super ugly. but i always play with status ailments on Rpgs….becacuse lets face it they are FUCKING annoying. and i like to put them on other people.
remember the good old days when you just started a file on pokemon and one of your pokemon got poisoned, or paralyzed, or confused in battle. at that point you probably only had like 3 pokemon, and poison and paralyzes were impossible to gett off without a poke center.

I don’t think there is any FPS gameplay in this. It’s probably going to be similar to the Tabula Rasa combat system. At 0:40 you can see it.
I feel like an evil bastard already.
I hope aerial/mounted combat is possible. Those helicopters and bikes look pretty spiffy looking, it’d be great to lay waste to some players while riding in one.

The 40k MMO has chance of great succes.the currently growing WH40K fanbase the upcoming ultramarine game and movie might push 40K in a golden time.
The 40K MMO also has very little competition.Some people say GuildWars2 will be the biggest nextgen but they are stupid and don’t realise GW2 will only dominate the fantasy style MMO’s.In terms of sci-fi MMO’s 40K has a chance to bring much orginality on the table, a thing they must certainly do since i got the feeling that the sci-fi MMO genre will be a growing genre the upcoming 5 years.
I will be keeping an eye out for this little pearl.

@Diana – Absolutely – but it’s setup so that you can play and end when you want. A typical game (at least the original Starcraft) took anywhere from 10-45 minutes depending on various settings. So, I can play SC2 for a few matches, and then dive into the WH40K world…

I can’t wait for a group of space marine players creating a chapter(guild) and call it the angry marines!The ingame chat will be very collerfull,and the huge amounts of fuck you towards the enemy will be devastating.

I think starting out from what I’ve heard, you can play as the Imperium of Man (Space Marines from the Black Templars Chapter, Imperial Guard, and the Mechanicum), Chaos (CSM, Dark Mechanicum, maybe Daemons idk entirely about that last one), and Orks. Imperium of Man is the only group to have been confirmed.
I’m sure that other Races and Factions will come out in Expansions later on (its what WoW did I would expect the same with this).
