You would have the Fighters( e.g MK, SF and Tekkan)
The shooters (COD, halo, etc)
The Action type games( not sure on its proper genre)( but i mean games like AC, ACII, Hitman, Viking, Prince of Persia)
The racing games( i am sure they could run some one over)
So yeah not really a chance for the anime

Since its ALL of video games then that means they have following things.
1. Mario Galaxy’s black holes.
2. The Colossi.
3. Halo rings.
4. Legend of Zelda gods/deities(ex- Goddess of Courage, Power, Wisdom, and Time. The Four Giants, Spirit of Law, and Light Spirits.)
5. The entire Triforce.
Side note: I would LOVE to see Mario, Samus, Link, Master Chief, Kratos, and other heavy hitters in video games assault all of the anime characters. The battlefeild will be covered in blood and spikey hair.

not really, its actually on the video games game side. Bandai made tamagochi then based a digimon virtual pet off that concept in 1997. 1 year after that that manga V-tamer came out based on the virtual pets. then in 1999 Digimon adventure comes out.

@ man: Xenosaga started as a game in 2003. In 2004 it was turned into a manga and in 2005 an anime. The game has the earliest data and thus it is on the VG side.

Once you take into account that VG get series like Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel, and WH40k that may be from another form of media, but have been in VGs, there is far too much for anime to handle. Even though anime has a mecha that is measured in LYs phazon, the things from star fox, and other such agents would eventually put the mecha on VGs side. In the god battle there are far too much omnipotent or near omnipotent deities on Vgs side for anime to pull out a victory there.

Compared to universes like Metroid, Star Fox, and Xenosaga, the damage that those two would do would seem insignificant.

Naruto-verse is just cannon fodder. Nukes neither begin nor end the scale of whoopass the VGverse can bring down and that single verse. Sonic, alone and in his most basic form, is more than enough. Flandre Scarlet could do it as well and all she has to do is make a fist with her right hand. There are MANY more that could do this with less effort than the Nukes. My personal favorite is just an really huge bomb from the Metroid verse. BOOM; the planet is gone.

For the record I don’t like ALL of Nintendo. I mainly like the Legend of Zelda, Mario, and Super Smash Brothers series. I’ve never played much of Metroid(aside from demos of the prime games which were great but I got lost a few times I think). The only Star Fox I ever played was the 64 game. I HATE Pokemon and Animal Crossing. Never played Earthbound, Pikmin, or Kirby(except the 64 game).

Samus and her planet killing weaponry plus immortal Gerudo equals a stomp. If someone like Kharn was on Dante’s side rather than Nero then they’d have a much better chance and the match would be very interesting IMO.

Actually I would say that match would end with mutual destruction. Mario verse can obliterate the physical universe by a few methods. Sonic verse can destroy the very fabric of space/time on a multi-verse level. It depends on a few conditions, but Sonic verse has a bit of an advantage in one situation that could be countered if Mario verse acts quickly… or Sonic verse has an instant win due the mere presence of a specific character.
Yes, Sonic verse has characters that are that stupidly powerful. See some of my previous posts in this topic on “Solaris”.
Mario Verse does have an advantage in terms of raw, physical weapons though. Sonic Verse just has Eldritch Abominations that encompase abstract ideas, and that allows them to pull off a narrow win… or a curbstomp victory. It depends on your point of view of things.

I ment to add this too, but I would consider Dante one of the people actually able to threaten Ganondorf. I haven’t thought about the match too much, but just off of the top of my head I would say that Ganondorf would be threatened. Maybe not defeated, but he would have to earn his victory.

There really isn’t a good way to get a “fair” match up between the two. If you limit one side from one thing then they drop orders of magnatude in power so much so that the other side curbstomps them. This pattern repeats until you have Sonic in his basic form, striped of basically all of his abilities since before Sonic Adventure vs Mario with no power ups. … In which case that might be an interesting match depending on some of the more rediculous feats that Mario has and what is dismissed as game mechanics.
Basically they don’t match up well. Somebody is going to stomp the other. Generally Sonic verse, or just Sonic, will stomp Mario verse, or just Mario, when they are equally handicapped (E.G. Full power, or no verse busting weapons, or no weapons that can bust a planet or more, or First appearance base line).

Marvel could stomp. … DC too maybe. It seems like DC is pretty equal to Marvel in all aspects and I know Marvel could take them.
I can’t think of anything else right now. The fact that the top teir characters of Sonicverse exist in such a way, you cannot fight them conventionally. Either you have to beyond their abstract nature by being even more abstract adn stomp them, or they stomp you by existing in a way you cannot fight. I cannot think of somthing from any fiction that actually equals how they exist and could fight without it being a stomp battle.
