A definite first for this website, a match between two songs that are considered by many as THE rock anthems to decide just which one is better.
For those of you who haven’t heard either of these songs (somehow) here they are.

Admin note: I personally love the idea of matching songs against each other, perhaps we could do movies as well. Depending on how this goes, we might see more of these in the future.
Personally I like Free Bird better. I grew up hearing it more and I just love the music

Am I the only one who finds Stairway to Heaven really boring? It has to be the most boring rock song of all time…as for Free Bird…you can’t beat that awesome solo

Free Bird FTW. It just one of those songs the whole family loves. Even if one member of the family is really picky(MOTHER!!!).
Free Bird, everyone loves that one and just about anyone who has ever listened to (good) music before will know it in an instant and enjoy it. Stairway is a bit..boring.
Stairway to Heaven is the epitome of overrated…I mean I’m a big Led Zeppelin fan and everything (The Ocean is one of my favorite songs of all time) but that song is just boring…Kashmir is also really overrated as well…
come on baron kashmir has the most orgasmic begining in all rock and roll

honestly? kashmire raised the bar for bands everywhere. and the intro is epic also
Free BIrd FTW it is the greatest song ive ever heard and dont get me started with the solo OMG AMAZING
I could name several songs by Zeppelin that I like more than Stairway.
Such as; Over The Hills and Far Away, The Song Remains The Same, Nobody’s Fault
But Mine, The Ocean, Achilles Last Stand, Hey Hey What Can I Do, and many more.
Freebird, absolutly no contest.
I really LOVE both bands, but I’d have to give it to Led Zeppelin, I grew up listening to it, it has one of the most amazing solos ever, and the words are so meaningful. Freebird is the same to me, but not that much more meaning to the words, but anywa, two bands, their best songs, the whole genre of music is torn apart, dismantled, and I am master of a nothing place of recoil, and grace…
