    I agree with Diana.

  2. DrunkMonk October 10, 2009 at 2:33 pm -      #2

“This is totally one sided and insta-pawnage.”

    Exactly what I was thinking.

  3. Prime Chaos October 10, 2009 at 2:35 pm -      #3

Who actually thought this was a good idea. I mean i can see who suggested it but wtf was that person thinking. This Phoenix ownage.

  4. Jwlynas October 10, 2009 at 2:56 pm -      #4

Well, lets consider this a second.

Its presumably Jean Greys earth, so who is zombified here? Zombie Storm, Zombie Xavier? Zombie Nick Fury, Zombie… Thor maybe?

  5. Prime Chaos October 10, 2009 at 3:02 pm -      #5

Good point. Hey, Admin whenever you read this: Is this Earth ours or the Marvelverses? If its the Marvelverses then it’ll be much tougher to win. If you could elaborate on it that be great thanks.

  6. Dracosphinx October 10, 2009 at 3:16 pm -      #6

What if it’s the multiverse? that would be odd

  7. AkumaTh October 10, 2009 at 3:55 pm -      #7

Isn’t this Dark Phoenix, Jean Grey lost in control and attacks her allies?

She can probably wipe out the Zombies of any status, but at the same time destroy the planet as well.

  8. Sam the heretic October 10, 2009 at 4:21 pm -      #8

    @admin

is it zombie marvel earth or normal earth? And if so.which earth is it(i.e. Badass 616 or movie brand 10005?)

If zombie hulk can “fuck up” galactus(i know i sound like a broken record, but that scenario to me is the definition of pwnage)…i shudder to think what a zombie marvel army will do to her…

  9. Marche October 10, 2009 at 4:28 pm -      #9

“If zombie hulk can “fuck up” galactus”

IIRC,only after the zombies got a piece of the power cosmic, and gotten amped by Stark, were they able to do anything to galactus(who i am pretty sure was weakened.)

  10. Asger October 10, 2009 at 4:37 pm -      #10

That and Galactus doesn’t have flesh or blood or anything.

Onto the fight. I don’t think the woman who eats stars in her spare time has anything to really be afraid of. Only ttwo major threats that can follow her outside of Earth come to mind Zombie Sentry and Zombie Thor.

  11. Marche October 10, 2009 at 4:41 pm -      #11

Marvel zombies doesn’t make sense period.

    lol,zombie ghost rider.

  12. Sam the heretic October 10, 2009 at 4:50 pm -      #12

    @marche

truth be told i don’t know the background to the events that preceed this awe inspiring situation…i just remember L-W saying it…and thats how my love for the green beast fully blossomed.

  13. Hitman H94 October 10, 2009 at 5:29 pm -      #13

“this is totally one sided and insta-pawnage.”
    wat i thought instantly
but if it is zombie marvel a few problems would be zombie hulk, wolverine, thor and sentry

  14. JoshMcFace October 10, 2009 at 6:48 pm -      #14

All I can say is this would be very fun to watch.

  15. AHEM October 10, 2009 at 7:58 pm -      #15

Well, if this is a world of just ordinary humans, Phoenix shouldn’t have much trouble. The Phoenix Force is nearly god-like in power, and destroying a whole planet, much less scorching a load of zombies off of it, wouldn’t be a challenge.

If there are all the Marvel characters as zombies however, retaining even some of their power, then DP will quickly go down by way of zombie-Thor, who is assisted by all the zombie-gods from the various pantheons.

  16. Megaraptor18 October 10, 2009 at 8:51 pm -      #16

Too one sided at this time

  17. Pondering Fool October 10, 2009 at 9:23 pm -      #17

Depends on what Admin has chosen. Our earth (reality) or one of Marvels many realities? So what is it Great Admin?

  18. Jwlynas October 10, 2009 at 9:36 pm -      #18

    See, Would Thor be zombiefied?

Surely he’d just escape to Valhalla?

  19. admin October 10, 2009 at 10:01 pm -      #19

Let’s make it fun and use the Marvel Zombiefied versions…

  20. Pondering Fool October 10, 2009 at 10:19 pm -      #20

“Let’s make it fun and use the Marvel Zombiefied versions…”

In that case……zombie Silver Surfer, zombie Thor, zombie Hulk, zombie Sentry, zombie Galactus, zombie Supreme Sorcerer, and zombie Franklin Richards would make things very difficult if not terminating for the Dark Phoenix. To many high powered zombies in that dimension for even DP to handle….

    - the pondering fool

  21. ss October 10, 2009 at 10:26 pm -      #21

ok i dont think she can take the other marvel zombies

    yes.

    c’mon without sounding like a fan boy…

Phoenix is a God like figure
    dark phoenix is stronger…

  23. Skrunks October 11, 2009 at 3:38 am -      #23

Dark Pheonix wins, even agianst all the other Marvel Zombies. Just look at what they’re up agianst….

    marvel.com/universe/Phoenix_Force

Dark Pheonix is when the Pheonix Force unleashes it’s destructive side, which, is nearly unlimited. Dark Pheonix could thrash Galactus around. And even if the Zombies did somehow defeat her, the Pheonix Force is eternal. It would just come back, ressurect Jean Grey and then go to work agian. Besides, Dark Pheonix could collapse the entire sector of space into a Black Hole if she wanted too.

  24. Sam the heretic October 11, 2009 at 6:33 am -      #24

    @skrunks

no disrespect, but dude! Its the entire marvel universe…zombified. From what i’ve gathered, doesnt that mean all their powers are increased? Sure, she may be a “god”, but im sure one of the real gods can fudge her up(maybe actually killing her)

if i remember from all the other marvel vs. Posts….there are alot of big hitters

QUESTION. Is the Living Tribunal zombified?

  25. Space marine October 11, 2009 at 6:37 am -      #25

    Screw that, Zombie One-Above-All.

  26. Sam the heretic October 11, 2009 at 8:45 am -      #26

    @space marine(loyalist scum:->)

    hahahahaha

  27. Pondering Fool October 11, 2009 at 9:28 am -      #27

    @Sam the heretic

“The Living Tribunal is a virtually omnipotent entity empowered by the One-Above-All to oversee and maintain balance in the realities that constitute the Multiverse, from the mainstream universe (616) to all the alternate realities (e.g., What If) and pocket universes (e.g., Earth X).”

Meaning, he would not be zombified, nor would the One-Above-All, as they are outside the realm of just one universe (reality). So no, thank the Lord, the LT or TOAA is not a zombie. But DP still has her work cut out for her in a zombie marvel world…..

    - the pondering fool

  28. Marche October 11, 2009 at 10:19 am -      #28

“no disrespect, but dude! Its the entire marvel universe…zombified.”

This is only a zombiefied earth,no threat there.

  29. Sam the heretic October 11, 2009 at 12:16 pm -      #29

Aw dammit, so no zombie Death either i presume…

How about zombie Thanos…with infinity gauntlet…hmmm, spicy

  30. Skrunks October 11, 2009 at 5:22 pm -      #30

You seem to be failing to grasp what The Pheonix Force is. It is the embodiment of all life across the entire Multiverse, it isn’t limited to just one universe either. The Living Tribunal could not judge the Pheonix Force, because doing so would cause the simultaneous destruction of all life, past present and future. Dark Pheonix is just….. outrageously powerful. Like shitcan Galactus powerful. Yeah, Galactus eat’s worlds, but Dark Pheonix eats Stars. In fact, Galactus was created by the Pheonix Force fusing with him in the last universes’ Big Crunch. The Pheonix Force could take that power back.

  31. Sam the heretic October 12, 2009 at 10:18 am -      #31

    @Skrunks

so, not even Death can stop Dark Phoenix? and all of Marvels pschics can’t separate her from the Phoenix Force? is that basically what your saying?

also, you still haven’t answered whether or not Thanos(with infinity gauntlet) won’t be able to pwn her.

i’m just curious, not like, out toget you or anything….

  32. Space marine October 12, 2009 at 6:13 pm -      #32

    “@space marine(loyalist scum:->)”
Hey, Im all for the Blood God. :D

  33. The Chosen One October 13, 2009 at 2:21 am -      #33

How will she return earth to normal with out humans though?

  34. Sam the heretic October 13, 2009 at 2:55 am -      #34

    @space marine

“Hey, Im all for the Blood God”

good, and don’t forget kids, a skull a day, keeps ol’ dogface ‘appy….i think?

oh shit, i think he heard me…

  35. Skrunks October 13, 2009 at 7:17 pm -      #35

“also, you still haven’t answered whether or not Thanos(with infinity gauntlet) won’t be able to pwn her.”

No, he wouldn’t. The Pheonix Force is literally all life in a single entity. If Thanos with the Infinity Gaunlet destroyed the Pheonix Force, then all life, past present and future would suddenly cease to exist, including Thanos.

“so, not even Death can stop Dark Phoenix?”

I don’t think so, they’re on the same level of power.

“and all of Marvels pschics can’t separate her from the Phoenix Force? is that basically what your saying?”

It’s irrelevant, The Phoenix Force is the embodiment of life, she could go ‘poof’ and all the zombiefied Marvel characters are alive and well again. She wins.

  36. Sapper007 October 13, 2009 at 8:03 pm -      #36

nothing but tea bags for zombies…

  37. Captain Epic October 13, 2009 at 11:09 pm -      #37

I don’t know if she could take zombie Xavier, Hulk, Sentry, ect.

  38. Hitman H94 October 14, 2009 at 5:42 pm -      #38

    well guess pheonix wins

  39. sam the heretic October 15, 2009 at 10:24 am -      #39

    @Skrunks

Thanks for that dude. damn, “dat bitch be badass”.

so, could all the zombified psychics combined hold her in suspended animation/freeze her?

if not, i nominate Dark Phoenix for the prize, simply for the whole “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” factor she has

  40. ss October 15, 2009 at 3:49 pm -      #40

    @skunks
how did they beat her before then? i mean i dont know much about her but what stopped her before?

  41. Skrunks October 16, 2009 at 3:28 pm -      #41

“so, could all the zombified psychics combined hold her in suspended animation/freeze her?”

I really don’t know, see below:

    “@skunks
how did they beat her before then? i mean i dont know much about her but what stopped her before?”

Well, Dark Phoenix was on a cosmic rampage, chowin down on stars n such, so Professor Xavier entered her mind and helped guide Jean Grey back to the surface, allowing her to regain control. Dark Phoenix is is the dark side of the Phoenix Force, but this is Dark Phoenix we’re talking about in this match, not just Jean Grey, so no amount of ‘guiding’ would be valid any more then brining out the good in Darth Vader would be applicable in other vs. Matches. Dark Phoenix is one of the most powerful characters to ever grace the pages of marvel. She wins, hah. And I second the nomination.

  42. ss October 16, 2009 at 3:40 pm -      #42

ok thanks for the info skunks

  43. Sam the heretic October 16, 2009 at 4:50 pm -      #43

Indeed, much obliged skrunks. So,unless jean gray can be found…

Wait, surely one of the skrulls could “copy” her power? A super skrull even…im trying to go for the “when two immovable objects collide” argument…

  44. Skrunks October 18, 2009 at 4:11 am -      #44

“Wait, surely one of the skrulls could “copy” her power? A super skrull even…im trying to go for the “when two immovable objects collide” argument…”

    Could the Skrulls copy Galactus?

No. They can’t. They can’t just go POOF copied. Most of the other heroes the mimicked through a replication of their mutant genes ore their technology or skills. When a being is embodied with the manifestation of all life, past present and future, how exactly are you going to ‘copy’ that?

  45. i dunno October 19, 2009 at 12:11 am -      #45

    can she fly?
if she can fly she can probably fuck zombies over

  46. Skrunks October 20, 2009 at 7:21 am -      #46

    “can she fly?
if she can fly she can probably fuck zombies over”

No, she can’t fly. She consumes stars, she can fight of Galactus, she is vessel for an entity that is all life, past present and future all squeezed into an Omega-level mutant with massive telekinetic and telepathic powers, and she is known as Phoenix, but, no, clearly, she can not, fly.

    :sarcasm:

“When a being is embodied with the manifestation of all life, past present and future, how exactly are you going to ‘copy’ that?”

    good point…i had a r-tard moment there…but not as bad as…

    “can she fly?
if she can fly she can probably fuck zombies over”

    instant classic

  48. sam the heretic October 23, 2009 at 9:38 am -      #48

i nominate Dark Phoenix for the award…simply because…

“She consumes stars, she can fight of Galactus, she is vessel for an entity that is all life, past present and future all squeezed into an Omega-level mutant with massive telekinetic and telepathic powers”

  49. i dunno October 26, 2009 at 4:54 pm -      #49

well i dont know shit about XMEN, i just know that zombies cant fly

  50. Skrunks October 26, 2009 at 5:05 pm -      #50

lol, I was being Sarcastic. Yes she can fly.

It would be well within her power to fly up into space then blast the entire planet into oblivion. Or she could smash the moon into Earth. Or hurl the Earth inot the sun. Or eat the sun and watch as all the zombies are freeze dried.

Or, my personal favorite. She smashes the moon into Earth, blasts the entire planet to bits, hurls the entire cloud of pebbelized Earth into the Sun, the eat’s the sun. Game over.

  51. i dunno October 27, 2009 at 4:58 pm -      #51

“Or, my personal favorite. She smashes the moon into Earth, blasts the entire planet to bits, hurls the entire cloud of pebbelized Earth into the Sun, the eat’s the sun. Game over.”

    overkill much?

seriously though, you dont need to go that far to fight zombies.
aviation is key, zombies cant fly.
thats why my plan for surviving the zombie apoocalypse involves zeppelins and boats. lots of them.

now im assuming pheonix can summon a nuke or something similar, so…

fly around whilst bombing with psychic A-bombs

  52. Marche October 27, 2009 at 5:31 pm -      #52

Not when said zombies are the zombies of marvel characters that can fly and jump so high flight is not a problem.

  53. i dunno October 27, 2009 at 5:33 pm -      #53

i dont count marvel zombies as zombies.

    since when could zombies fly?

  54. Marche October 27, 2009 at 6:24 pm -      #54

    Zombies are zombies.

Smart zombies at that, they are reanimated corpses after all.
Anyway, that’s the zombies we are using.

  55. i dunno October 27, 2009 at 7:52 pm -      #55

    ok….
still, tradiditionally, zombies have no way to counter air units.
then halo bends the rules with zombies that carry rocket launchers
then marvel has a go with this stuff, of zombies with superpowers.
and dont get me started on trigens

  56. Skrunks October 27, 2009 at 7:55 pm -      #56

This is a crappy video from a mediocre game, but it gives you an idea of Dark Phenoix’ power:

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLQUan8HWOA

Even as Marvel Zombies, they don’t stand a chance against her. Like I said, smashes the moon into the Earth, Blows up the Earth, hurls the bits into the Sun, then eat’s the sun. She’s one of the most powerful beings in all of Marvel. The Phoenix Force supersedes Galactus, Eternity and Death in raw importance, and only the Living Tribunal is higher then her in the hierarchy of the Multiverse. She wins.

  57. i dunno October 27, 2009 at 8:17 pm -      #57

ok, the video was errible quality, but i get the picture
perhaps, orbital bombardment is more realistic for pheonix

  58. Cpt Olimar October 27, 2009 at 8:23 pm -      #58

Skrunks, you hve just convinced me she loses this match. She has zero emotional control if that video was any indication. This match has two parts:
    1) can she destroy all of them ?
    and
2)return Earth to a normal state?

If she overreacts that much from one person she cared for dying, then she will never return Earth to a normal state… she will destroy it.

Dark Phoenix cannot accomplish this task unless she can AND will control herself in such a manner.

  59. Skrunks October 27, 2009 at 8:46 pm -      #59

I just noticed the ‘Return Earth to a normal state’.

I hadn’t noticed that before. She would effortlessly swipe away all the zombies, but no, she couldn’t return earth to a normal state. Dark Phoenix is the Phoenix Force’s primal, instinctive side. Pure passion and anger. Dark Phoenix killed billion in the comics, and she would do the same to Earth if all the zombies were on it. White Phoenix is the good, pure meging of The Phoenix Force and Jean Grey, and White Phoenix can actually manipulate and isolate entire Timelines, but Dark Phoenix is that force on a destructive binge.

Yes, she wipes all the Mutants out, but without her friends to calm her, she goes on a destructive rampage. Consuming star after star for all eternity until the Universe itself is snuffed out of existence.

  60. Skrunks October 27, 2009 at 8:48 pm -      #60

As an after thought, perhaps after a billion years of feeding off stars and extinguishing life, perhaps she’ll come to realize what she’s done, and force herself into the White Phoenix in order to return it all to normal, since White Phoenix has the power to do it. But this is Dark Phoenix vs. Zombies. I think we need to call on Admin. Is Dark Phoenix stuck as Dark Phoenix or can she eventually completer her transformation and turn into White Phoenix?

Nope, she is stuck as Dark Phoenix – Admin

  61. Sam the heretic November 2, 2009 at 3:53 pm -      #61

Sweet. With that subtext, admin just won it for the zombies…

Mission Plan: piss dark phoenix off

    method: just smile…

  62. Skrunks November 18, 2009 at 5:32 pm -      #62

Well then, Dark Phoenix > Zombies, Dark Phoenix > Everything

    Interesting outcome.

  63. Commander Cross December 27, 2010 at 3:33 am -      #63

    How ironic.
Dark Phoenix lives through the mess, but there’s still no hope for the planet.

Now i wonder how Dark Phoenix can be reasonably contained, long enough to temporarily filter out her rage and turn her to White Phoenix?

Dancer, you have bright ideas in mind?

  64. epicazeroth March 19, 2012 at 8:55 pm -      #64
