Captain America all the way. For once, even given prep time, there’s nothing Batman can do. it all comes down to prowess and endurance. Cap can’t be undrugged, his shield’s unbreakable. This is a man whose gone toe to toe with hulk and only had a few ribs broken. Batman falls, Jokers cries, Marvel win the day (Hey!)
The Cpt. simple, but powerful weaponry would overwhelm Batman’s belt of tricks.

Read the description people.It’s an arm-wrestling match. While both are in peak human condition,the difference is Caps body is always running at peak efficiency, while Bats doesn’t.So they’ll start off equal but Batman will tire,whereas Cap won’t.

Although they are equally matched as peak humans,and batman has nice gadgets,he just can’t win much matches unless he has prep-time.
Sure,he can throw some gas capsules,but his shield would block anything thrown at him,and once its thrown batsy’s head would come clean off.

Seeing as this is a “arm-wrestling match at their favorite pub”, this match goes all the way to Captain America. If this was a normal duel, then it would be up in the air. But in terms of physical endurance and strength, CA wins.

Batman definetly has a keen tactician mind, and tons of gadgets, but as this is a straight up physical duel, Captain America all the way.

People forget that when it comes to strength,Batman and the captain are pretty much evenly matched.
When it comes to strength feats,the two are virtually the same.
The only difference is that batman has to work out to mantain his form.
Captain America does not.
There is no way that Batman could arm-wrestle down Captain America with his natural strength alone. As has been established, CA is as strong as it is possible for a human being to get. Batman is a normal human, and though he is definitely at peak strength for humans, he could not outperform CA, because that would require superhuman strength. Even if Batman was at the absolute peak of what the human body could be stretched to, it would be a draw at best, and CA’s enhanced endurance would be the deciding factor.
Unless Batman has some sort of strength enhancement gadget or something, then CA takes this fight easily.

Everyone, this is Batman we are talking about. Batman would totally win this, he would cheat, but he would totally win this. He would probably kick Captain America in the shin or balls or something when he starts loosing and then slam the Captain’s arm down, or he would hit some nerve on America’s hand that would make it go numb, or he would toss out a flash bang behind Captain America to distract him. Batman doesn’t play by the rules, but he wins; its what he does. He’s a gutter fighter, and in an strength competition that pits two people of equal strength against each other, you always bet on the one more likely to not follow the rules. Captain America is too high and mighty to attempt a low blow, and that is exactly why Batman would win.
And Captain America would just sit stone still while Batman reached around and pulled something out of his belt? Or while Batman tried to kick him or hit a nerve in his hand?
Caps just as likely to reflect some light off his shield into Bats’ eyes. Or squeeze Batmans hand with enough force to break it.
cap, will stay in the rules, but hes not an idiot, and has way more experience than bats, he will watch him closely
Batman is peakhuman,infact when it comes to strength and speed they are pretty evenyl matched.
The good captain,however.Has the advantage of seemingly superhuman endurance.
Though,i wouldn’t be surprised if bats could keep up.He can stay up for days on end and still function perfectly fine.

Yes,his body doesn’t produce as muh fatigue poisons,thus allowing him to go for long periods of time.
1. The rate at which Captain America’s muscles contract is far greater than any human, thus the power of the strikes that captain America can deliver would demolish Batman, Kill him, though Captain America would never do this to a human.
2. Batman would be reduced to striking at pressure points on Captain America to cause any effect.
3. Could batman even compete against Captain America? Bruce would feel like he was in slow motion.
The list would go on and on.

Plus, hes a super soilder who has had years of hand to hand combat traing as well as tactic classes. He is also a master at the shield throw. He can hit any target within his arms range. Batman is a jujitsue black belt, a technicle genius, increadubly resorceful, the worlds greatest detective, armed with advanced technology, trained in reconicence, and as strong as someone can get without super powers or a super soilder syrum of any kind. Plus hes got a car, a boat, a jet, and a jet ski. Plus hes a master with his “baterane” and graple hook. These are the most in depth truths of there skills. Now based off what I’ve typed here, bats tech would probobly win him this fight.

Both are highly trained hand to hand combatants, smart battle tacticians, and born leaders. Batmans advantage would be a variaty of gadgets making him unpredictable. Unfortunately Capt America posesses near superhuman traits physically. Even on Batmans best day the fight would still favor Capt America. Batman could out smart him but Capt has the same battle experience if not more

Batman can’t beat Cap in a fair arm wrestle. Thats why he wouldn’t play fair.
Step 1: Arrive before Cap. If Cao arrives early, send him off to grab some beers.
Step 2: Hollow out one leg of cap’s 3 legged barstool, place tiny explosive charge.
Step 3: Cut hole in table with bat laser, tape back up with bat tape.
Step 4: weaken floorboards under Cap’s stool with bat laser, cover with mat.
Intitiate arm wrestle. As judicator shouts ‘go’, Batman tenses right leg, triggers the charge with his left hand while he roars a battle cry to cover the detonation noise. Cap falls to batmans left, his arm crashing through the table and as he hits the floor he crashes through that as well.
To all onlookers it appears that Batman just threw Cap through two solid wooden surfaces. Checking that Captain america is ok, they turn around to find Batman has vanished, leaving behind a twenty dollar bill with a note that reads ‘keep the change’

I admit with my earlier post I hadn’t read the description and figured it to be a fight. Also, I thought that Capt vs Bat was one of the few fights that wasn’t fan decided. Considering too that an entire story was thought up with reasons as to how and why the cross over happened (and why it didn’t affect mainstream timeline) made the fight canon.
Also, Captain America CAN tire out. Just in this case Batman would tire out sooner.
Comparing the two of them openly though Captain is physically superior in terms of outright performance.
In EVERY other conceivable aspect (including writing IMHO) Batman is a better character. He knows more martial arts, better at said martial arts, a genius, mentally one of the most powerful entities in DC despite being a “normal” human, better strategist, even a better detective. The list goes on and on.
Hell, just getting some of Captain America’s blood would’ve given Batman enough data to replicate the serum and from there all hell breaks lose. He’d probably increase its potency and we’d end up with a Bat-Sentry without the mental instability given Batman’s level of discipline and control.
Just my .02 with no real bearing on this match up.

Also, Batman has trained his body to peak-human perfection. So him and Cap are just about equal strength-wise.

In this Batman scan, he is lifting weights and the second biggest says either “300″ or “500″ on it, meaning just that weight and it’s counterpart on the other side equal 600 to 1000lbs. Not to mention the other weights, 2 of which are bigger. A safe estimate would be 2000 to 3600lbs. Even without the other weights, he can easily lift more than Cap’s “maximum of 800 pounds with supreme effort” or 1100lbs as I saw mentioned earlier.
