Ok, so you all know I am one of the biggest fanboys for this series, so you just had to know I was going to post this, right!? November 7th can’t get here fast enough!

Hmm, I guess it’s going to (loosely) follow the plot of the second book, Stone of Tears, then. I say loosely because from the looks of things, the Mord-Sith are going to play a fairly large role, and they were almost non-existent in Stone of Tears until the very end. It wasn’t until the third book that they actually began playing major roles.
Let’s hope this season actually follows the book somewhat faithfully, instead of being a stew of plotlines from three or four different books. I’m not so certain, though. I definitely saw a few scenes from Blood of the Fold in there.
I read that Goodkind wasn’t too thrilled with how the characters were being developed for TV, but he was glad to get them more exposure to another audience. For that, I agree with him.
I also read that season 1 was supposed to stay close to Wizard’s First Rule, and if/after the series got picked up for more seasons, they are allowed to “expand” the Sword of Truth Universe.
Who knows what they’ll do with it.
The show was interesting, at times exciting but not always fun.
Here is my take on it with a little humor and lots o’ pics if you are interested.
