I heard meditating helps with that too, maybe you might like to try it? Though personally I tried it and found it rather difficult to keep my mind cleared for more than a minute. That and sitting cross legged for more than 15 minutes is a drag.

I’m just taking a method and trying it, if it suddenly fails me I’ll just admit it did and find another.
Above all, I don’t try something I’ll go insane anyway.

That lady in the pic is a good friend of mine. And she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Her and her family basically adopted me and helped me through some very bad times. Also it’s not a giant Slim Jim in the picture it is some kind of fireworks.
